When I called, the young female who took my order could not do much to assist but offer a simple "sorry." When the food finally arrived, the driver was a bit more professional offering an apology. The food was cold. My general chicken was dry and flavorless. The crab puff was all batter and very little cheese inside. My wife's veggies and tofu was also not up to standard. I love asian food. I ordered Mongolian Beef, which I like, and it came put partly cold. One piece of meat was cold like faucet water and another piece wasnt even luke warm. I asked for it to be taken off the bill. I did not want a replacement. Im done with this place. We have dined or ordered from Fang's Cafe nearly a dozen times and have never been disappointed. One time the delivery forgot an appetizer item but they noted it in their system and proactively reminded us of our credit the next time we visited (great customer service!). The General Tso Chicken is our go to entree. The Crab Rangoon is above average and a staple on our order now. We have asked other patrons about the sushi on our visits and all have been positive. To date it's not the place we think of when sushi hits our radar but we look forward to trying it soon. The only item we would love to see improved is the wine quality but here again a Chinese Restaurant is not somewhere you go to have excellent wine. Highly recommend Fang's Cafe! read more

I hate giving one star to places but, this place has earned it. First lets get to the food it was ok your typical run of the mill take out flavor. I ordered the general chicken which was no different from any other I've had. The egg rolls were awesome!! No onto the service if you live outside of the 5 miles delivery radius then you have to pay 5 dollar delivery fee which is fine seeing that my house is only 6 miles away. This is the best Chinese food in the area. We order delivery from Fang's almost once a week, we have strayed and tried many other chinese joints in the area just to compare. NOTHING compares! Their egg drop soup is delicious, very flavorful and not super watery like other places. My boyfriend loves the General Tso's which is lightly breaded and very good. I love their Lotus Chicken and I tend to order their sushi quite often. The Firecracker, Yumi Yumi, and R&B Rolls are my favorite. Their cucumber salad is great, crab puffs and egg rolls are always on point. I could go on and on, but to sum it up: if you're craving Chinese, go here. You will definitely leave happy! read more

We were drawn to this restaurant for sushi and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and their selection. So many rolls! Also tried their Kung Pao chicken with fried rice. Very tasty, good portion. We dined in on a Wednesday night and the place was fairly busy with a lot of carry out service. Check out their lunch specials. This place isn't that tasty. Rice tasted like cardboard. Food wasn't authentic by any means. Had too much sauce on everything. On the plus side, when they say it's spicy, it really is. We ordered fried rice, which is on par with what you get in the grocery freezer isle, but lesser quality. We also ordered Mongolian beef which was drowned in sauce. Too much for my taste. Seafood special had a few shrimp and that was about it. Also drowned in sauce. We ordered delivery. We also applied a coupon from the website to our order. They stated 45 mins for delivery and were more prompt than that. We ordered two combos of chicken and one vegetable/chicken. Overall, food was good. Two orders were to have white rice but they sent fried rice instead and we did not receive utensils with the delivery (forks, napkins) so we had to obtain these from store next door. If you have small children this is not the place to go!! Customer service is poor and older gentleman is very argumentative and disrespectful! I went to Fang's Cafe today to get my kids some lunch. Immediately when I walked in the front door I was greeted with a " Is this to go!" by an older male. I should have walked out then but I was trying to give the gentlemen the benefit of the doubt! My son is only 3 years old. As we sat at our table and waited for our meal,this same gentlemen walked up to my son and told him not to touch the napkins sitting on the table. My issue is my son is a minor, he certainly isn't going to harm a napkin, and I was sitting at the same table and you didn't even bring your concerns to me you went straight to my 3 year old. I have eaten Chinese food from 7-8 places in NW houston/tomball and this is my favorite place. Every dish that I have tried is really good and I have tried about 10 different things. I have only ordered take out here, I have not dined in. Try the orange beef, it is great! They have never screwed up my to-go order, not even once. Most places give you the wrong food, or you are missing food or forks/soy sauce or something. That has never happened to me here. The one knock I have found is that their fried rice is pretty bland and not very good so I have taken a star off for that. Overall, its been 4-5 stars every time I have eaten from there. read more

My coworker and I really wanted chinese takeout for lunch and read the reviews I'm the area. THIS PLACE SHOULD get ZERO stars but that is not an option.....our food did come on time which was super nice. WHEN WE WENT TO EAT our lunch it tasted re-heated. You could tell the chicken had not been fresh. The "fried rice" should be on the menu as fake ass fried rice...it was clearlywhirlte rice drenched in soy sauce. The rice literally in my box was half white. The Mongolian beef was tender but the veggies thrown in with it tasted raw like they were am afterthought during the preparation of my meal. VERY SAD we wasted 20 dollars on lunch here. I called back after being very upset we couldn't eat our lunch and the "owner" told me if I wanted a refund I had to produce the food to him. Not that many places in Tomball where you can get good sushi, I really enjoyed the sushi here. Their ice tea is fresh, and the wings are on point. The atmosphere is nice, and I like that they have the Spurs game on tv. They're short on waitstaff though, and the tables are not cleared, I would let that slide, if the food was a little cheaper. Fang's is absolutely my go-to place for amazing chinese food. Everything I've ever eaten here has been exceptional and the wait staff is super friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that I'm not as much of a fan of the sushi as I am of other places in the area, but it is still good and is a good price. Cannot recommend this place enough. read more
