We got the breakfast pancakes to split, which we were very curious about. It was somehow an excellent pancake and also a unique experience. I also grabbed the spinach scramble and my wife got the potatoes verdes. The chorizo in her dish was surprisingly good, but the true unsung hero was the homemade biscuit. Definitely grab one of those! The homemade hot sauce is excellent and not too spicy but packed with flavor. It adds a ton to their egg dishes. We are going back tomorrow to check out the banana bread French toast, which our waitress said is not to be missed, but we simply didn't have any more room in our stomachs! Update after day 2: skip the corn beef hash, and the omelet we got was just so-so. The "scramble" style egg dishes are much better. The home fries didn't get enough love in yesterday's review. They are quite excellent. And, the banana bread French toast was as advertised. Don't miss it.
