My mom started going here years ago and got me hooked too! Twee, Van and Bebe are my personal favorites. I have never been disappointed in all the times I have come here. The price is decent for the service I recieve and they are quick and efficient. I never make an appointment and am always a walk in. I never ever have to wait more than 15 minutes to be taken in and I am never here longer than 2.5 hours when I get my hands and feet done. The salon is fairly clean, the color options are never ending and I LOVE the massage chairs for the pedicures!!! I just wish I could get my nails done and not have to leave the massage chair!! read more

Fancy Nails is now my go-to place for gel nails. Having been to a few of the chain and mall-based nail salons, I won't go elsewhere. They are alway fast, efficient, affordable and they do fantastic work! I have yet to have a set that looks uneven. All the nail techs are very friendly and it is easy to communicate with them to make sure you're both on the same page. I was recommended Fancy Nails by a friend, and I have recommended to friends as well, who now go there exclusively. I get compliments on every set of nails I've had done. Their prices are competitive, especially for the quality of work; if I recall correctly, a new set of UV gel is $45 (a fill is $35), and they have 4 different types of nails (acrylic, gel powder, uv gel, white gel) to choose from. I've gotten a few new girls throughout my time coming here, but some of the main girls do a killer job. Owners name is Diane & she makes you feel extra welcome when she's knows you. This place is great to just walk in and there is never a wait. Lily did my pedicure with a big smile. I took her picture. She didn't try to sell me other services, she was very quiet and kind. I felt so bad when she put the shellac on my toenails while she sat on the floor with only a towel to sit on. I felt her humiliation, there she was sitting under the manicure table applying polish with such precision. Omg I won't get my pedi here any longer. No respect for the hard workers. I gave her a tip, thank you Lily for the great service. But geez they have to have a better way to apply shellac. read more

After receiving a reply on my last review I'm still very unsatisfied. I got a 50% off rate ($5) to remove my "nails" that was only a tiny sliver of gel polish on my nail that I could not seem to get off on my own. I had all my nails fall off except for 3 so of course I pulled those off on my own so it didn't look any more horrible. I've never had my polish peel off or have such bad service dealing with this place in the past 5 years so to only get a reply saying "you got a discount, next time also let us know you're unhappy" is frustrating. I clearly let them know I was not impressed when I was there but no one did anything other than make me feel like my crappy nails was my fault by saying "what did you do?" Then the girls were all silent and refused to speak to me or listen to what I was asking when I asked to not have my actual nail filed down. Just the tiny sliver of polish by my cuticles is all I needed removed. Not sure if I will continue using this place for my nails anymore. I wish I had taken pictures of how bad my nails were to add to this and to show how much I had left when I came in to have the polish removed. read more

I have been getting my nails done here by Bebe for years. She is amazing. She knows what she is doing and has an amazing memory for what styles and colours you like. Honestly I love this place! I see a lot of bad reviews so I might have just gotten lucky with my first time going with a lady named Truc. She does amazing nails, I always bring in Pinterest nail pictures and she always does them perfectly. I also love that she is always so gentle, I usually have my gel nails for about 3 and a half weeks before I have to get them off but they never come off without a struggle, which is nice cause I never worry about them falling off while I'm on vacation. I highly recommend going to Truc if you come here, she is a delight! read more

I went to Fancy nails because my other place couldn't squeeze me in and I was desperate. I got a gel fill with fancy (lol) sparkly tips for about $47. I'm all out of date on pricing for these kinda things so I don't know if thats cheap. I've had gel nails before and these ones measure up. The sparkly "tips" go a bit low on my nailbed but I know thats because I got her to make my nails pretty short and they will grow out to the perfect proportion in a couple of days. The super nice lady doing my nails filed a bit close to my finger pad and made me bleed a little (very little) bit and apologized so much but it was because the nails are short and she was cleaning up underneath so they weren't too thick. She was very particular and paid attention to all the details. All in all I'd go back. The location is convenient for me and if these nails hold up well the next couple of weeks (which I think they will) I'll be more than happy. read more

Had tammy do my nails, I told her I wanted an acrylic fill with regular polish because i find gel nails always break on me and gel polish is just too thick, long story short she told me I could only get gel polish and forced me into doing gel instead of acrylic because my nails couldn't handle more acrylic..ive never heard that before. Long story short my nails looks like crap, theyre uneven, too thick and ive already lost two. Tammy has no sense of customer service and I told her I didn't like them and she still made me pay. I got my very first set of acrylics at this salon and i'm very happy with them! They look gorgeous and I haven't had any issues with them so far. I've been getting nothing but compliments from everyone i know. There's only two reasons I'm not giving a 5/5 rating. One being that I had called ahead and made an appointment for one o'clock and I arrived 5 minutes early. It was quite busy at that time and even though i informed one of the girls i made an appointment i ended up waiting 15 minutes for a spot. Not a huge deal but it just seemed a little unprofessional. The second reason being that my nails are a little lumpy? I guess when the acrylic was applied it wasn't smoothed over the tip evenly. Again it's not that big of an issue for me but it's one thing keeping this salon from getting five stars. Other than that I paid $50 for a new set of nails with polish and got everything I asked for! The lady who did them for me was also very sweet and kind. I think I will be returning here! read more

GO ELSEWHERE, ALMOST ANYWHERE HAS TO BE BETTER! Huge language barrier, staff did not understand or do as we asked, nails are awful my daughter had acrylics with gel overlay and asked for them to be painted black she asked numerous times and still it was not done. My gel fill has to be the worst I have ever had and I will have to wait until they grow out as they are sooooooo short that it is actually painful. I even stopped the tech to explain what I meant by squared and she still did what she wanted and these nails will grow out poorly due to this lack of respect for the clients wishes and experience with thier own nails. I have numerous nicks in my cutlicles from the techs "dirty" drill bits, I will be suprised if I do not end up with infections. As to the techs being quick I have never been in a salon for a fill for 1.5 hours and been so disappointed. As a professional in the beauty industry I think this site needs a health inspector visit for cleanliness none of the equipment was sterilized prior to use this included the drill bits and cuticle nippers that were sitting out with all the other implements there was no sign of cleaning products or sterilizers. Staff must have submitted the reviews that we read because they are definitely not what we experienced. We went to this salon based on the reviews and because our regular tech is unavailable due to a family emergency. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere. Prices seem to be whatever they decide once they get to the till. read more

My cousin and I went here for pedicures. Friendly and accommodating but poor selection of colors. 50 shades of red infact. Cleanliness was subpar and nails smudged after 5 minutes. Manicure bubbled. Plus mani pedi was 47.50 and just around the corner it was only $40. Won't be going back. read more

My first trip into fancy nails, 2008, with Vivian was phenomenal. Beautiful work, so impressed. Then I find they will pull every nail off to start over again after 4-6 weeks... Poor nail beds, I thought this is what you were to expect. Then the injuries started. Drilling too close, they would look up and away, to get someone to answer a phone, or to greet another walk-in, they would be looking away from my hands while they drilled. Or they would slip... AAAagh really?? They would chatter on in Vietnamese, and this gets so rude, as they would not converse with US the clients. Some of the pedicures were so rough, I cringed when they did their scrubs. Too hot of water, too hard on toes with utensils. The hygiene was going down hill too, I don't like sharing polishes and files, they seldom would change the foil in the dryers, lots of dirty splashes around the work stations. Not clean enough for me, that's for sure. NOPE, I will not recommend this place - ever. read more

I requested the $30 pedi, and it is not at all what I received. First, I requested that they do not cut down the side of my toenails -- that was performed and now I am beginning to notice an ingrown area. I also requested them not to use the razor to take off my dry skin, after having that procedure done before, I know it just leads to itchy, cracked feet for me. Alas, one week later, my feet are itchy and I'm on round the clock watch to ensure I don't develop a foot infection. Then they passed me a bucket of colour polish swabs. I chose a bright peachy-orange colour. Not once was I informed that the colours they handed me were gel colours, at an additional $12 (which I was informed at at the counter). I went to the shop with a friend of mine. We sat beside each other for our pedi, but when we had our nails done, they separated us. I was so disappointed. We decided on having our feet done so we could sit and talk after not seeing each other after 2 years. Finally, when I got to the till, my final price was 57$. WHAT?! I've never EVER paid that much for pedi. I couldn't get a proper answer for where that mysterious additional cost came from since even with the 12$ gel colour, it total SHOULD HAVE come to around $46. I wasn't going to write a bad review but one week after visiting this salon, my gel nail polish on my toe peeled off. I've had numerous gel mani/pedi's before and never have I had this happen. Extremely not pleased with this salon. Went there for a routine eyebrow wax and left not happy. The lady who did my brows managed to take off too much and ruined the shape and made it short and thin after telling her to keep the shape and leave it thick. On top of that she was very pushy and kept offering me other services that I declined several times. After having my brows ruined, I will never go back there nor would I recommend anyone to go there for a wax! If you're looking for a place to have your brows done, this is not the one! read more

I have been going here for years now, everything was fine until a new person took over and all she is interested in is your money, that is the bottom line. For what I used to pay $25.00 for a fill, they are now charging me $45.00 for a fill. I'm done and will not go back again. The new owner is not friendly and like I say only interested in $$$. Not getting ripped off anymore. I have found a new and fantastic place so I won't have to deal with Fancy Nails. I booked an appointment for myself and another girl on short notice, which I was grateful they could take us both in, They quoted us $45 for a manicure and pedicure. I thought it was a sweet deal, when we went to pay it was almost DOUBLE the price of $85 for the other girl while I got sculptured nails. The salon was unsanitary, after my nails were done the technician beside mine took the nail file my technician used on me and used it on the lady beside me. From my understanding of properly run salons EACH item must be sterilized before each use. The technician did not sterilize it after the file was used on myself, the technician beside me did not sterilize it before using it on her client. read more

I went here once and the girl was amazing. I loved my nails. When I went back I asked for the same girl when booking my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I got a different girl. My nails were not horrible but not great. When booking my next appointment I made it very clear that I wanted the first girl or someone who was very good at nail art because these would be my wedding nails. When I arrived I had a girl I had never seen before. I explained what I wanted, which was not that complicated my old nail girl did it all the time before she moved). She started with my toes. There were horrible. At one point she asked me if they were OK and I could see they were lifting already. I reached down and ripped them all off... so obviously there were NOT OK. She finally says after 2 hours, with the help of 2 other incompetent girls and me now crying that it can't do it. So I ended up getting pale purple toes and nails that took 3 and a half hours for $90. To top it all off, all my nails turned and ugly grey and yellow ( and no I don't smoke or tan) just in time for my wedding! This place is horrible and I would NOT recommend to ever go here! read more
