I'm not exactly sure why there are a limited number of reviews for Fancy Nails, I usually like to see a lot of reviews before I visit a business, but I think I've figured it out! Ladies don't want to let the secret out! Tucked away in the rear of a very upscale shopping center in Tustin, you'll find the gem of nail salons in the area. I walked in without an appointment and was very lucky to have had a wonderful mani pedi at a very fair price. WOW! What a hidden gem in Tustin's Enderle Center! With it's NEW Grand Opening, here are a few reason why I love this place! 1) Amazing service (esp. by the owner Tina - she is very thorough and sweet!) 2) Unbelievable prices! 3) Name brand, quality polishes! O.P.I, Essie, and even Chanel! None of that cheap stuff that other nail salons use 4) Incredible atmosphere - they added in a new surround system, beautiful orchids, and offer complimentary tea and coffee! Talk about a mini-vacay! This is a nice, quiet place tucked away in the Enderle Center. I walked in without an appointment on a Friday night before a Christmas party. Took about an hour and 15 minutes to get a mani/pedi. I consider that a long time, but there was only one person working. (She called someone else when another customer came in, and she was there in about 3 minutes) You have the option of a spa or regular pedicure. It cost $35 for both. She did a wonderful job. I wasn't a fan of the shape my nails were filed to (I wanted round, not pointy), but I can't stand having nail polish on my fingers for more than a night so it was easy to fix later. My cuticles look GREAT. Very clean, professional. I will return (but with plenty of time set aside). read more

Needed somewhere to get my nails done and was not accommodated by the salon I usually go to when in the Tustin area so I yelped around and came across Fancy Nail. This salon is located in the plaza along Yorba near Zov's. It isn't too big but I was immediately welcomed in by a few cheerful women. They ushered me over to a seat right away instead of letting me linger awkwardly by the entrance like some places will do. They had two women start to work on my nails to remove the gel nail polish that was already on them. They all made an effort to make conversation with me and I gathered early on that they were genuine and pleasant women to be around. Their color selection isn't the biggest but they had the color I was looking for. They shaped my nails nicely and took great care with them. I enjoyed conversing with the women and overall felt relaxed knowing that my nails were getting done well. My manicure came out to $25 which is reasonable considering they also had to remove my old polish. Keep in mind, this place isn't the biggest. They have two nail stations and about 4 mani/pedi stations. I can't imagine it's easy to get in on a packed day but even as I went on a Friday evening they accommodated me immediately. I definitely recommend this place for their service but might consider suggesting they add more colors next time I go back. read more

Very accommodating on short notice, which is how I am when I want a pedicure.

I was a walk-in with my cousin who is a regular for her nails. She had never gotten a pedicure before so we decided to get pedicures. It was a Saturday morning so they asked to come back in an hour which was fine. They do have a decent stock of good quality polishes (ie. OPI, Essie, China Glaze) The two ladies were friendly enough and no one else was in the shop when we came back. The shop and tools were clean. I had nail polish on my toes from before and she had to remove it. But for some reason she could not remove all of it (glitter) and I guess she just gave up. So she kept on working with remaining glitter on my nails. So I thot maybe down the line she will like sand or buff it off. The massage was OK and the cuticle work was OK too. The disappointing part was when she started painting my nails with the glitter still on. But she put enough coats on so I couldnt see it unless you look really hard. When I asked for a nail design, they said they couldn't do it, that only Tina could and she wasn't there. I'm sorry but a salon should always have someone there that can do a nail design. They did offer to do a 5 dot flower. That's why I gave them a D for offering to do a mediocre design. Today was my third visit to Fancy Nails and I must say they have earned my loyalty. After a very long day, all I wanted was a little pampering in the form of a gel manicure. I walked in without an appointment and sadly they were busy. They suggested I come back tomorrow. As I sadly turned around and started walking back to my car, one of the women ran out after me. She asked me to wait one minute while she called a coworker who lived nearby to see if she would come back into the salon to help me. And SHE DID! She did a beautiful job on my nails! She was incredibly helpful in explaining my options and she even helped me pick a color which I love! Go here! read more
