I hate getting pedicures because I have really sensitive feet, but I went here and Vilma did my pedicure and she did such a great job. She was so gentle and sensitive to the fact that my feet were twitching a lot of the time, she was just really kind and I appreciate that a lot. My pedicure came out wonderfully.

I am visiting from out of town and needed a pedicure. This was the 1st place I saw so went with it. The good - I didn't have to wait and the pedicure was decent. The bad - when she came back to the drying area I was seated at with my receipt I noticed a "tax". Not being from Connecticut I asked about the tax. She said it was because I paid by credit card? If she would have told me that as I handed her my card I would have just paid cash. I'm guessing it's their way of passing the credit card processing charge onto their customers. After she brought my receipt up to the desk, she came back and walked behind me. I thought she was trying to get by me. But then I felt her hands on my back. She was giving me a massage!??!? She didn't say anything in advance. I had no idea this was going to happen because I had only requested a basic pedicure. She massaged me for 1-2 minutes. This was a creepily unexpected surprise. I can't say I would recommend this place to anyone based on my experience. Like I said the pedicure was decent but the rest was weird.

Quite possibly the best pedicure I've ever had. Came in for a mani/pedi and also eyebrow wax. I had made an appointment which didn't end up being necessary. The inside is very spacious, clean and bright. A woman named Moon did my pedicure, manicure and waxing. By far the best pedicure I've ever had- the "normal" pedicure came with hot stones, an amazing leg and foot massage, and warming scrub. The massage chair was great too. Manicure was just as good. I only gave 4 stars because my eyebrow wax seemed very rushed, although it came out just fine. Also, other reviews indicated that if you paid cash you would get a 5% discount- I paid all cash but did not get any discount, which was disappointing- I went to the ATM prior to my appointment based on that tip. Regardless, I'll still go back whenever I'm in the area because it was worth every penny!

Best manicure I have gotten in the Farmington valley! Beautiful job. And all of the staff are friendly. They were even walking the clients to their car with an umbrella to keep them dry in the rain

Tried it out due to not having time to visit my go-to in Torrington. Called ahead and was told a gel fill was $30. When it came time to pay I was charged $45. My nails are not square like i'd asked for them to be. They are bumpy, uneven, and different lengths. The sides of my nails aren't even painted. Would not recommend.

I am glad they are getting back to more staff since COVID.

The level of detail and time they take is something you normally don't see. Other salons rush you through and out the door before you can blink. This place takes the time and really wants to make sure your experience is perfect.

I was very happy when I called to make an appointment and the woman on the front desk was kind, helpful and understandable. when I arrived the salon was clean, empty (but it was a Monday) and I liked the atmosphere, the light jazz was a good touch. I put up no argument and gladly opted for the most expensive spa pedicure. The tech nicked the top of my right toe (sensitive skin) with a nail file. luckily it didn't bleed but as the pedicure went on she sprayed my toes with pure alcohol several times and wow that burned. as an industry professional she should have been using something like sea breeze (it would have been ok only to wipe the nail with alcohol not spray it over the tops of the feet. it progressed when (and this happens almost everywhere) she violently exfoliated my legs with scrub. I'm not here to solicit free advice but scrub does the work on its own, a gentle touch is all you need. I don't want to have my skin scrubbed off: again. ow! The massage was hurried, and missed the key sensory points -- all I can say is there shouldn't be any rushed or hurried movements in the spa industry, to be blunt the massage just didn't feel good, it also lacked pressure. I skipped my manicure all together, but the tech redeemed herself on the back massage as I was drying which delivered the pressure and key tension spots but overall I don't know if I would go back. Still on the hunt for the best spot.

The Nail Lounge - Inconsistent shaping, design. Awful color which they attempted (and failed) to correct.
