The owner was fantastic, very sweet, professional and accommodating. She did her best to service walk ins and appointments. Unfortunately there was a man that I was assigned to. I was just removing a set and wanted a manicure. He seemed annoyed, very serious and unfriendly. Then he proceeded to continue the removal process (as the owner had started it) The difference in service was like night and day. He was rough, burned me a couple of times with the nail bit and looked at me annoyed. If I get the owner I'd go back but I'd skip the man for sure. At least it was fairly priced read more

0/5 stars I have been a loyal customer at Charm Nail Salon for the past two years, visiting every month without fail. However, my recent visit was so horrendous that I will never set foot in this place again. I got my nails done a couple of days ago and within just a few days, they started chipping and peeling. This was particularly concerning as my nails have always turned out great and lasted long in the past. I returned to the salon to see what could be done, especially since my wedding was coming up on Saturday and I needed my nails to be perfect. To my shock, the male nail technician I spoke to immediately got defensive and raised his voice so other customers could hear. He blamed me for the chipping nails, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I had gotten French tip dip nails, which are more expensive than a regular dip manicure, so I expected better service/results. When I told him that I didn't appreciate his tone, he continued to speak down to me and used unkind words. After about 10 minutes of him yelling, he finally fixed my nails, but the entire experience was extremely embarrassing and strange. I have never been treated so poorly at any salon, let alone one I have been a regular at for years. I will never go back to Charm Nail Salon and would not recommend it to anyone read more

Fast and good! I went in for the first time for a cats eye gell manicure. 40 minutes in and out! Looks great and lasted!!!

I made an appointment with Mars for a gel fill, he took me right away, no wait. I have never experienced such a meticulous nail artist. He took his time to perfect my nails. He would do one nail, stop and make sure you like it every step. Wonderful job. The place is clean, they open new equipment every time. And a short massage at the end as well. I would absolutely return here, and highly recommend! read more

I have had numerous pedicures here and have noticed the time spent on my pedicure is getting shorter and shorter. The last time I went I had an appointment and had to wait nearly 25 minutes. The pedicure was rushed - done in less than 30 minutes. Today while I did not have to wait for my appointment, I was in and out of the chair is 25 minutes. No attempt at conversation... I sat for another 20 minutes under the 'toe dryer' and the man who did my pedicure never came up to give me the bill or check to see if I was good to go. I got up and paid for the service and I will not return. I definitely feel like the quality of service has gone down and that their focus is on sheer volume. Will be looking for a new salon. read more

I've been coming to charm since I moved a few months ago to the area. I would give them five stars however trying the new powder gel and extensions my results have been a little inconsistent. I've been able to go almost a full four weeks without any issues, and then I've had my nails crack and break within 24 hours. Going to give it a few more tries to see if it's worth continuing to go here but I do appreciate Angela who does a great job with my crazy color requests. The prices are reasonable I wish they did more design work maybe I just need to ask and challenge them. Overall quite happy. read more

I think I've found my new nail spot!! I came here over the weekend for a powder dip manicure and pedicure after my usual nail salon wasn't able to accommodate me on a Sunday. I was seated right upon arriving. They were able to remove my previous dip while getting my pedicure which saved so much time!! cute aesthetics able to fit me in during mother's day weekend my gel manicure and pedicure were done very poorly. my gel manicure didn't more than a couple days. the edges of my nails were left with a spacing between the gel polish and my nail bed along with not doing a coat around the top. It seemed super rushed because they were so busy! If you don't have the time don't try and squeeze everything in to get the money because the quality is not the same. read more

I went for a pedicure recently and was very happy with my experience. Upon entering, they took my temperature and asked me to use hand sanitizer. There was a good selection of colors to choose from. I was content with how well they cleaned up my cuticles and calluses. They didn't rush at all! When it came time to my massage, they showed me the timer so I knew I'd get my money's worth. Staff was very polite. Extra advice: pay in cash to avoid the credit card fee. read more

This review was to be for a different business. Nails by Charme 413 North Main Street Bristol, CT 860-319-1466 I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. I received a gift certificate as a gift from nails by Charm. From the very beginning, she was upbeat, polite, laid back, and her salon is impeccably clean. She was easy to chat with- as I was undecided since I hadn't had my nails done in over 25-30 yrs! I started out with gel polish and quickly found out- that I'm EXTREMELY hard in my hands. Being in the florist industry and doing multiple refinishing projects at home would do that. I chipped 3 of my nails within 3 days, I was a little reluctant to message her- as I needed them touched up for an event. She was more than understanding- had me come in and she not only fixed the three nails but decided to redo 8 of the 10- all in a breeze & without a charge. My next appointment - I decided to do the powder dip- as it would be much more durable- suggested by Charmaine. What an outstanding job. And durable!! Holy crap!! (Secretly I was doing some spray painting, got some over spray on them, but used a magic eraser and it all came off- not affecting the finish of my nail! Charmaine is excellent at what she does. The environment is warm and welcoming. I would highly suggest her for any of your manicure or pedicure needs. read more

Not only were the services very good, they stayed over 30 minutes late to finish my nails and did not rush whatsoever. They also have a very large variety of gel and nail dipping colors.
