This place actually surprised us a bit. They brought back a vintage burger joint vibe with fresh paint and a clean overhaul. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak meal, a spicy chicken sandwich and a banana split. They don't play around with the banana split. It was excellent, wed cone back for another one. The food came piping hot but freshly made and good! The spicy chicken breaking was crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed the crunch with the subtle heat. The parking can be a bit challenging to get in and out of during peak traffic otherwise this place is decent digs. The prices are reasonable snd staff is ready when you need anything. When we walked in we were greeted by the staff with enthusiasm. I immediately noticed the immaculate restaurant. I'm not kidding, this place was spotless, likely the cleanest restaurant I've ever seen. We ordered the double cheeseburger and the western meals. They were both fantastic and the bacon on the western was fresh and perfectly cooked. Best Western I've ever had by far. Our kids all had meals and reported positively. A new burger place in Merced, now in "soft open" drive through only mode. It's pretty good. I give it 3.5 to 4 stars. The burgers are good and filling, the fries are very good (crinkle cut and Curley), however the chicken nuggets were not that great and I'm not a fan of the limited dips they offer (ranch, buffalo, thousand island, bbq). I got the Pastrami sandwich and it was delicious! The mozzarella sticks were not a favorite, but the onion rings were fantastic. That was the conclusion to our party of 6 for dinner. The service is great. Drive through only right now so we couldn't go in yet. It's the old Long John Silvers place. I anticipate this restaurant will be here for a while. I called them and told them about my order when I spoke to the lady on the phone, it was the lady that took my order. She remembered me because I was the only one to add mushrooms when I was telling her my issue she said another wrong order she told me to hold and she needed to speak to her manager she then came back to the phone and told me the manager knows he put mushrooms and cheese on my sandwich and I explained I am sitting here looking at the sandwich. She apologized and asked me to bring in the sandwich for him to examine. I am on the other side of town with children that are now down for bed so I will be bringing the sandwich in tomorrow.
