I followed up on Tuesday, July 7, and was told that refunds typically take three to five business days. By July 13, I still had not received the refund, so I reached out again but received no response. I followed up once more on July 14 and again received no response or refund. This is especially disappointing because I had been ordering meal-prep meals from them on and off for more than a year. I understand that unexpected problems happen, but a business should communicate with its customers and promptly issue refunds when promised.

Chris & Pitts' Downey location has been operating since 1949, the year the chain was founded. All available records point to the Downey restaurant being one of the original early locations that remained open continuously while other branches closed over the decades. What a Gem! I almost forgot, the service was excellent too.

I have never had to leave a bad yelp review but this made me feel as if I had to. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this experience deserves one. My visit to Famous Dave's was flat out awful because of our server, Jossie. From the moment we sat down, she had an attitude like she'd rather be anywhere else. No greeting, no effort, just a blank stare and an eye roll when we asked a question about the menu. It took over 20 minutes to get our drinks, and when the food finally arrived, half of it was wrong. Instead of apologizing or offering to fix it, she shrugged and said, "That's what the kitchen made." Seriously? She didn't refill our drinks once, never checked on us, and disappeared for most of the meal. At one point, we had to flag down another server just to get BBQ sauce at a BBQ place. The audacity. When she finally dropped off the bill, she tossed it on the table without a word and walked off. No thank you, no smile, nothing. Just pure attitude from start to finish. If this is the kind of service Famous Dave's thinks is acceptable, that's sad. Jossie clearly doesn't care about her job or her guests, and it shows. Worst famous daves ive been too. I am an avid famous daves supporter. I am also a food critic. I have been to pretty much every famous daves across America, and this ranks as the worst. High key ts sucks. They are rationing food, and the corn bread is the size of a frickin walnut. I am highly disappointed, they lied to us about the bbq chips, saying that they had none. But in reality they did have the chips and only gave me atleast 4 chips. The waitress was mean to me and sassy. I can't believe this experience after I watched the kings get violated by utah.
