8/4/2022 I am from Houston texas , my last day for work here I decided to try this place out , as I am from Texas and in Texas we do barbecue right But, let me say this this place is out right insanely delicious to the core and they do barbecue RIGHT! Walked in around 10:30ish, the bartender working at night was attentive, smiling , and very approachable. I ordered a blue moon (could've been colder) but still delicious . She gave me a menu and let me look through it without rushing me as they closed at 11pm she still let me take my time Food : 1/2 barbecue chicken was phenomenal!!!!!!' Chicken cooked so perfectly! Tasty ! : red skin mashed potatoes were insanely delicious! Soft , and just done to perfection! : Dave's Mac and cheese , it was different...great different. Not your generic Mac and cheese you taste but Dave's Mac and cheese has a twist ! I'll let you try it out ! Thank you again for providing outstanding service , fast , and such DELICIOUS FOOD! I've been to several famous Dave's over the years. Felt the ambience was not as up to standard as I was used to, clean and neat just didn't feel like famous Dave's that I've been to in the past. This one we had to wait quite a while before we were offered a seat, even though there was nobody eating. Our food came fairly quickly, but my burnt ends were mostly fat and very disappointing.. had to track down our server when it was time to pay. Nice place and very good service! I only have 1 unhappy thing and that was portion size vs the price..... Food tasted great, however it is definitely overpriced for the portions they give. Walked in and they try to sit us in the bar... we are not 21. Then the manager gets angry because we are under age and tells us we can't sit there. I try to order some chicken strips... they are out. so i tried to order fried pickles... out too. but then my friends get pickles with their meals ‍ so switched just got some mac and cheese. i get this mac and cheese and it is absolutely disgusting. also this whole time, its been my birthday. Famous Dave's was great! My family and I were in town visiting and a relative suggested that we try Famous Dave's. We ordered the Signature Sampler Platter as our appetizer and it didn't disappoint. My favorite part of the platter were the ribs. They were cooked so perfectly that the meat was falling off of the bone. The different sauces made it exciting to eat since we were dipping everything on the platter into all the different sauces, trying to pick our favorite! I ordered the ribeye steak with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak had a great smoky taste to it, however, I didn't care so much for the fried onions that were under the steak. I wound up just pushing them off to the side. The broccoli was a little bland and could have used more seasoning, but had a nice freshness to them. I didn't care for the potatoes too much because there was way too much butter in them. The others in my party ordered a burger and sandwich and said that they were both delicious and wouldn't critique anything about them. My children LOVED their food, especially the corn! One of my children, who can be quite a picky eater, said that the corn was the best he had ever eaten. Overall, the food was great and the service was fantastic! Bar tender was more interested in whatever else, typical chain restaurant with lack of any kind of service. Bar tender looked at our table several times and had to ask hostess that was seating people who our server was, server came over after I asked and not even a simple apology nothing. Don't waste your time or money, plent of better places like Outlaws which is where I went and got EXCELLENT SERVICE. Me, the wife and little one come here most Sundays after church as a family ritual. The little one loves the pic in front of the bear every time. Manager always seems to make a stop by and greet everyone with welcomes and compliments. But on this day 6/23/24, we came and sat down like normal. Except we sat down for 20min without seeing any waitress. Did witness a waitress managing all the tables in our section but ours. Unsure where they draw the line. As we waited, another couple sat next to us and immediately the waitress confronted them. Still waiting with an impatient child dying for thirst, we had to leave. First time we had seen the service like this and no manager on this day or at this time. I would guarantee if the manager was around; this wouldn't happen and he would have made up for the services. I'm giving this five NORTH DAKOTA stars, as bbq isn't a common thing so far as I've seen. We've eaten here twice and both times have been excellent. My favorite meat items are the "burnt butts" and the chicken. Delicious. On the side the beans, coleslaw, and pineapple are to die for. I mean, how many places serve grilled pineapple as a side??? Always getting orders wrong, very bad management that will lie to your face over and over again

I come here quite often and the food and service is always great. But let's just be honest. Other than the bbq and drinks, the only reason I come here this often is because of the bartenders. Between Patricia's sweet sweet ass and Callyn's glorious boobs this is the best place for eye candy in the town of Williston. Chloe is absolutely gorgeous and is such a sweetheart. Love this place. We have been visiting Famous Daves for years in different states. It became a favorite of ours until today. We were seated promptly by the hostess and she was even friendly enough to pull the blinds for us. After roughly 20 minutes of waiting and wondering if we would be able to get drink orders in, I went to use the restroom. I saw 3 waitresses at the end of the bar, apparently not busy since the place only had 3 other parties dining. When I returned to my seat, we decided to wait another 5 minutes before leaving. While walking out, we weren't even acknowledged except them all watching us leave. We decided to go dine at the Hula Grill on 1st and Main St instead and I think we made the better decision. Since I'm from Louisiana my expectations may have been a lil high. They were crispy and seasoned pretty good but two of the pieces tasted muddy and that was because they weren't cleaned right.
