They have locally made jewelry, pottery, glassworks, candles and more. The owner, Erin, offered us a glass of Chardonnay while we shopped - my husband and I thought this was a great touch. I am a big fan of boutiques that contain a variety of items. I felt, overall, the prices ranged from inexpensive to expensive. A small pile of knit head wraps caught my eye in the back of the store. They had different colors with each having embroidery and some sequins/rhinestones. I had my heart set on a gray, knit head wrap with bright turquoise and black embroidery all over it. It was $35 but one of the owners took an extra $5 off. Sold. While I paid for the wrap, the owner and cashier struck up conversation with my daughter and I. They were very friendly but then again, my daughter has a way of charming the pants off of people. Of all the things I purchased on my trip, this purchase at Lola was the one I am most excited about. Bring on the cool weather so I can wear it!!!

These guys are true artists and take their headpieces and fashions to a whole new level. The other negative reviews about this place are a load of crap in my opinion. My guess is that there is some ulterior motive involved which I won't get into here but suffice to say, our experiences with this place were excellent and we found the proprietors extremely engaging and they had an artistic outlook and philosophy which was very refreshing compared to many of the stores in the area which are just selling touristy nick-knacks. I just wish they had a website because I would love to buy some headpieces and other articles of clothing to use for our fashion photography work. If you are looking for some fabulous fashion pieces which would be as at home in a modern, fashion museum as they would be at a masked ball, check this place out.
