The customer service we received at this location was amazing! The cashier and the supervisor Kelly went above and beyond! I had questioned the amount of a product that rang up different than what was shown on the app (and there was no price on shelf in front of item). After researching it appeared it was my mistake on the price however, they did not argue or try to make me feel it was my mistake. Honestly, I haven't shopped at Kohl's much in the last couple of years. My Fiance didn't even know we had a Kohl's nearby. I recently went to Kohl's twice in the last two weeks to return some Amazon purchases. The return process is easy. Just walk on up with your item and the QR code on your phone and they will take it and pack it for you. The best part is they give you a 25% coupon that is good for 7 days. Yes a coupon for simply stopping in and returning some Amazon items. If you can't beat them join them right? Anyways the customer service agents were extremely friendly and I decided to look around the store. I ended up getting about $200 worth of stuff for about $60 which included my 25% discount and I got a good amount of Kohl's cash on top of that. If your here to return an Amazon purchase, it's worth the time to look through the racks. read more

I made a yelp account just to write this review because I am THAT mad. If I could give their customer service 0 stars - I would. Boyfriend and I went to the store on a Friday afternoon when almost no one was shopping to exchange a groomsman suit that was a little too short. The parents of the groom were sent money in advance by the groomsman who then purchased all the suits in a group and shipped them to each groomsmen. They were told that if ANY problem should arise to have them take their suit to the nearest Kohl's and they would be helped. HAHAHAHAHAHA. As we walked to customer service, we saw a woman angrily rip her receipt away from the table and storm off without saying goodbye. I thought to myself "wow...kinda rude." Little did we know, she was only a glance into our future. We were immediately shown to their exchange kiosk. (Oh happy joy. A machine.) It was there that an absolutely incapable woman who could care less hastily explained to us we would have to buy a new suit and then return the old suit to the counter to receive "Kohl's credit" To top it off, Kohl's would NOT even refund the original amount paid because the suit was now on sale. They could only give us "Kohl's credit" for half of what was spent on the suit. After an intense arguing match, finally, the head of customer service pulls out a telephone and calls headquarters, hands the phone to my boyfriend and leaves for lunch. He proceeds to tell his entire story all over again, arguing for nearly an hour over the phone before he is finally given the suit he needs. Trip's total time: 2 hours 57 minutes. Absolutely appalling to see how little we were cared for and how much we had to fight just to ensure not being ripped off. Will not be shopping at Kohl's again. read more

I am extremely disappointed with Kohl's customer service experience. On August 21st I brought back an item with the receipt which I was over charged for the day before. The elderly "customer service employee Adrienne was not pleasant from the start. What should have been a quick in and out the store no hassle and a price adjustment was the worst, beyond rude, disrespectful customer service which I have never experienced at Kohl's Department Store. I Begun to explain to Adrienne c.s how I was over charged while she was looking at the recipe that's when she looked at me in her 1950's cat eye glasses which sat on the tip of her nose and said in a very nasty tone "I don't need you to explain". I was very offended by her tone of voice towards me and her negative body language, rolling her eyes at me and her lips pursed. I was trying to explain cause she kept looking at the recipe and the item. I told her there were more in the back if she needed to do a price check and her exact words were" I going off what the computer says" That's when I pointed out the price on the item to her and said" this is what I was supposed to be charged. She asked me how much was I expecting to get back. That's when I answered the question. Adrienne said" This is what it's ringing up at, people change the tags or the employee miss marks items." Again, here I am being insulted again and now being accused of switching tags on a clearance item. I asked to speak with a manager by now. 20mins later. Just for a price adjustment because I wasn't getting anywhere but wasted air. That's when the "manager came I explain why I asked for a manager. I told her my experiences has been very negative so far with her employee and the reason why I was there. Once again Adrienne stood there looking down at me and said "that's what I'm trying to do." I have to return everything that you bought on 8/20/17 and put it back on your Kohls credit card. Then I will ring everything up and then you have to repurchase it again. I repeat back to Adrienne for ONE item you have to return everything that was on my receipt. Put it back on my Kohls Credit card. Then ring it back up and then I re-purchase it. She said yes. I was in disbelieve. I shop here all the time and never heard nothing like that. I explained everything else on my receipt was correct except this one item so what's the big deal why am I getting a hard time. I felt the elderly women being a manager when a customer request to speak with you and explain the reason for requesting them it should have been obvious, being the customer I felt the situation was getting out of hand. I wasn't getting the help or the proper service that I should have received. As a manager after expressing how I felt about the service she should have taken over the situation and told her employee I'll take it from here. Instead she continued to give this elderly women Adrienne the go head as if what I expressed was meaningless and allowed her to continue against my wishes. When speaking to the manager she stood their allowing Her employees Adrienne to answer for her when I wasn't talking to her. Adrienne raised her voice at me right in front of the manager. I asked the women to lower her voice. Im right here. I'm not deaf. That's when the manager said her voice is fine. Still keeping my composure after explaining several times I wanted to keep my item I just want a price adjustment because I was overcharged they acted like they had a cognitive impairment and couldn't get it right. Still they was trying to charge me the incorrect price. Neither one taking the time to go do the foot work and pull the exact same item off the floor to compare or see for themselves. now it's two brains instead of one. Failed Mission. Both manager and customer service employee is still being rude to me. I'm getting irritated with both of them and how the supposed "manager" is handling the situation. I'm explaining that it should never have taken 45 minutes when I brought in the item and the receipt. I thought Kohl's has a no hassle policy. That's when another C.S commented about there no questions ask policy and I agreed. I was explaining to the other c.s. that I had already used two of the items and I didn't use this item because the price was incorrect and I didn't want to be given a hard time for bringing back an item that I had already use. That's when the c.s women said you can bring back burnt candles even if you use them. Surprised, I'm like really? The manager and Adrienne gave her that look. That's when the manager became belligerent displaying the same behavior as her employee Adrienne. Hitting the Computer screen hard to let me know she was angry and also told me she was unhappy with me. 45mins putting up with the disrespect, insults, accusing me. left me really angry and confused. So I went in to exchange a pair of Bobs women shoes. Cause they were coming apart didn't have any more to exchange for. So I ask to put it back on my Kohl's credit card . They couldn't find the transaction on my card, so Lori calls for a manager Greg comes over and tells me that I didn't put it on my card cause they couldn't find it. I said yes I did, he tells me that there computers are right on the money and don't make mistakes. Basically calling me a liar in front of other customers. So I went home and called the credit dept and they found the transaction of the purchase on my card. So I went back to see Greg and he wouldn't come out to talk to me. Kohls is definitely one of my favorite stores and this is the best location that I've been to. The store is clean and not too crowded and the staff are always friendly. One time I wanted a particular size swim suit that they didn't have and a customer service rep was on the phone for about 20 minutes hunting it down for me! I went with my daughter to get some clothes for her. She found some for the price she wanted. She tried them on all by herself. Pretty impressive for being in elementary school. All of the clothes were same brand. They were all matching. They were all on the same rack with the identical shirts, sweaters, and pants of the same size. Just like every rack in that store. Well we soon found out that the price that was marked was wrong. $45 for the set "was an old price," Christy. "Under Armor is never marked down." So it ended up being $90 and that is the last $90 of my money kohls will ever get. Kohls is a disaster. This one especially. I moved about 4 years ago from an 85086 to an 85087 zip code, so you can see I didn't go very far. Ever since that move I stopped receiving all of the promotional mail that I used to get from Kohl's. I would stop by my Mom's (she lives in my same zip code) and would see all this mail for sales, discounts and promotions on her counter and wonder why I wasn't getting the same. So I did more than just wonder - I also addressed the issue at: the customer service desk at my local Kohl's (near I-17 & Carefree Highway), through phone calls to customer service and through emails to Kohl's online. I did this time and time again, maybe 3 to 4 times per year for the last 4 years!!! At first they said I needed "to be patient" as it "takes a few months for an address change to register in their system". They told me this after 3 months, again after 6 months, again after a year and, as of last week (FOUR years later) were still spouting the same nonsense! In addition, anytime I tried to sign in on Kohls.com I would have to contact an agent to help me, and each time I would be told "the problem has been corrected and I wouldn't have any more trouble in the future" but, sure enough the SAME thing would happen the next time. I also was charged late fees twice for statements I never received (this was reversed after more of my time was wasted on the phone AND in the store with customer service). Finally, I always had to have an agent help me with my Kohl's charge card online because the system would say that my account didn't exist!!! If I could add up all the time I have wasted with them I think it would make me explode... You would think that a company who is constantly doing surveys (ad nauseam), which I always took, would have some type of an alert system to deliver repetitious feedback to some higher up employee when issues with the same customer are repeated over and over again... feedback that might actually help them take action to fix issues. Instead they offer ridiculous and empty statements such as "We want you to know Kohl's cares very much about your shopping experience with us"... Guys, ACTIONS speak way louder than your words!!! This is a comment I sent to Kohl's.com today: "No question, just a comment that I want a manager to reply to. Why did it take almost 4 years for someone at your company to figure out why my account was so messed up? My frustration level has gone through the roof time and again and I am tired of agents telling me how important it is to them that I am happy with their service. Actions speak louder than words and talk is cheap, especially went the issues drag on and on and on despite constant reassurances that everyone at Kohl's cares so much! I spend so much money here. I buy everything here because it's very close to me and you can easily return things because everything that you buy on your card they can pull it up. Recently I've had a couple purchases that didn't fit or I didn't like. I had the receipt and I tried to return. The first occasion was a very mean lady that reeked of cigarettes she works in the daytime at returns. Another lady was a redheaded older woman who is a manager. I couldn't believe the attitude she was giving me. I had a receipt and everything I hope this is not going to become a habit because if I don't feel good about going somewhere I will stop. This Kohl's is hardly ever busy. I don't like that the prices are always really high unless it's on sale or you have a coupon. Luckily there usually is a deal. Clearance is always a good deal. I would rather they just make the everyday prices realistic. read more

Horrible customer service. Spent 160$ there and was rushed out with constant reminders the store is closing every 5 minutes. We have spent hundreds of dollars At khols in the last year. All Kohls are not created equal! No, I don't work for the company but I am a big fan of the chain, and have been to a number of Kohls throughout Arizona. I used to think the Flagstaff Kohls had the best variety and quality merchandise in the state until I shopped at the Anthem Kohls. It is huge (bigger than most of the others in the Valley), it is gorgeous (since it is newly built) and I found a lot of merchandise there that I never saw at the stores in Peoria, Glendale, Mesa, and Chandler. I don't usually go out of my way to go to Kohls but I'll be making a trip now and again over to the one in Anthem. It's a great store. read more

Plus-there are no racks to hang things back on after we've tried something on which means there's a LOT of slobs who think it's okay to throw stuff on the ground.
