The brunette shop owner was the rudest I have ever encountered shopping. I would not recommend this place. There were several of us in the store browsing, I picked up a sweater and was going to purchase it. She was at the register and announced that she was not the waiting room for the tea room next door! My friend Bought a "vintage" bracelet which they took the sales price off and handed to her to wear out. She took off later to find a MADE CHINA sticker. I went back with her to return and the owner acted so rude! She would not give money back then did but was so rude.I told her to never gracious and she told me She did not care! we walked into this store. There was a woman, I believe the owner, at the desk. She was eating her lunch and talking in the phone. She not only didn't acknowledge us, but she turned on her camera for the caller and was telling her to 'look at what was in her store' while aiming her camera at the three of us, very obviously, and telling her friend to 'sssshhh look'. What a horrendous person, to engage in mocking potential customers. read more

What a horrible shopping experience. The staff were lovely and helpful but the owner was so rude to the staff and customers. I walked in with my stroller and she rudely told me that I couldn't walk around the store with it. She also snapped at an employee for speaking to me- correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that what customer service employees are supposed to do? I put down the items I had intended to purchase and walked out letting her know that I don't support businesses that disrespect customers and staff. read more

This woman is the rudest woman I have ever encountered. My group went in with 3 woman and 1 man. This is apparently a store that does not permit men. We were not even completely inside the store when she started screaming and I mean screaming like a mad person because someone was trying on clothes in the completely enclosed fitting room. You would have thought by the screaming that this woman was naked and exposed. Honestly I cannot believe any business owner would behave this way. If you feel your fitting room isn't sufficient enough or private enough you should correct that problem or lock your door when someone is trying on your merchandise. I would advise anger management and business management classes. read more

The owner of this shop is rude! My friend and I were in the shop while our husbands waited outside. We asked them to come in to view a shirt for an event and the owner came over and ask them to leave the store because women were trying on clothes in the dressing rooms. We were shocked by this request. We all left and will NEVER go into the store again. read more

It was a Saturday afternoon and there were people inside the store and the door was unlocked. There was a sign hanging sideways on the door that said closed. I stepped inside and asked are you closed and was rudely told we are closed! Well, if you're going to be closed, then lock your doors. This woman is so rude. I would give this clothing store less than 0 stars. My two girl friends and I walk in the store. We were waiting for our reservation at the English Rose tea garden. We were not greetEd and the owner was on her cell phone talking to a friend. She suddenly puts her friend on speaker and does a FaceTime. sheholds up her phone and points it at my friend and says, "can you see it?" Her friend says, "all I can see is your food, where are you?". The owner says," I'm in my store, do it see it? Looks what's in my store." Her friend tries to change the subject and go back to asking what was the food she was eating. I immediately walked out of the store followed by my friend who the cell phone was pointed at. We are not small girls, but we love to shop. That act was so rude and hurtful. Mean, self centered person. I would never step foot in that store ever again. You are an ugly, discriminatory person and you did this to the kindest person I know. You lost a sale yesterday. This isn't any kind of justice for my two friends nor I. I noticed the reviews here are some years old. I have shopped there for years. Something has changed! Today, three hours before their posted closing, I was thumbing through a sidewalk rack next to a woman. We chatted; she took her items and entered the store. My daughter caught up to me twenty seconds later. I took my choice and we opened the door....only to be greeted with, "We're Closed!" Other than the woman I had been speaking to, there were four customers in the store. The rack was on the sidewalk. It was well before closing. There was no offer of an explanation. The saleswoman was well beyond rude. I own chairs, clothing and a host of wedding gifts purchasedthere. It was my 'to go' place. This was my last foray. I hope this will prevent you making your first. There are lovely, friendly, helpful galleries in Carefree. You don't need the grief. read more

It is as good as it gets and you don't have to drive to Fashion square and get frustrated with the cookie-cutter clothing and despair. read more
