This isn't the best Dollar Tree I have ever been to. But it is still a good one to visit in Prescott. It's really big and has a better variety of items to choose from than most other Dollar Trees' I have been to. The size of the store and the items to choose from is what makes it worth to go to. But parking can be a mess as you have to drive past the Walmart to get here which is always busy. The service on the other hand isn't bad, but could be better. Dollar tree has lots of great deals, however, you have to shop carefully. Some items are actually a bit more than you'll pay at Wallyworld. Some items of inferior quality are manufactured specifically for this type of store. But sometimes you find crazy good prices on close out items, or on good quality regional brands from other parts of the country. One of the best deals at Dollar Tree is greeting cards! I love sending cards for all occasions, which gets pricey at 3.50 a pop! (I know lots of people!) Nice cards here are 2-fer-a-buck. Woohoo!! Cards for everybody!!! Store is clean. Well merchandised. Dollar Tree - Everything? - Discount Store Near Me - Prescott, Arizona

Hurried to get to this store and arrived 10 minutes before posted closing time. The door was locked and the PIC had to unlock it to allow a customer to leave. We asked if we could come in to make a quick purchase. The PIC considered for a moment and then rudely answered "NO!" In my 28 years in Prescott I've never met with a more rude individual in a position of representing a major retailer! Too bad for Dollar Tree. read more

I went out of my way to get to this dollar tree store. While I waited for my husband to go in for a few minutes a car pulled next to our vehicle. The man got out and his dog started barking at our dogs. I quieted the dogs as much as I could and went into the store after my husband came out. When I got into the store the employees were harassing the man about his dog. I told them that he was telling the truth but they kept harassing him. I later spoke with the manager and she said what I had to say didn't matter because it was all over and she didn't care that she had lost my business or that I said I should report the store to their corporate office. This is a small and very messy Dollar Tree store. The shelves were cluttered, and I went to this store when it first opened! In addition, there are less products on sale. I was disappointed with the small scrapbooking area. I was surprised with the food area. The 100-calorie packs were $1, and it came with 6 packages!! The expiration date was not until March 2008. I saw the same exact package at a grocery store for over $3! Wow! I was tempted to buy a caramel rice crackers, but I resisted. read more

I understand times are hard right now. But walking into this store was a complete disappointment. I never leave reviews but this visit entails one. I needed balloons. When I walked in the store was not busy. I asked Kristie (according to her name tag) how I go about it. She snapped at me that I needed to go through the aisle. Ok cool. I grabbed a few other things and went through the aisle. The cashier gal didn't know who to call or how to handle the balloons. While she was ringing me up the store became busy and the poor cashier had people waiting almost the length of the store. She calls for backup. Noone came. She went to office door. Finally a cashier came out. The other cashier needed help from Kristie. Kristie comes out of the office, no mask eating a sandwich with half still jn her hand, yells that she needs to finish her break. All the customers waiting heard her. I politely ask her if somekne was available and she tells me I'm just ginna have to wait. Which was fine. I would wait for them to get caught up. When your store is slammed busy and you're a manager, guess what, you're break gets shortened and YOU HELP YOUR STAFF. If kristie is the managwr she definitely needs to learn some customer service experience. And staff her store better. Needless to say I had to do her job to tell her what ballons I needed. And when she told me they were out of most (why weren't the ballons taken out of the system of they were out) so I told her just to give me 4 of whatever she had just so I could get out of there. Definitely WONT go back. Corporate needs to take a look at how their managers 'manage' Kriatie definitely needs some help in that department. read more

what a great store...Melanie the manager has a great group of gals...and 2 guys (: Store is clean and stocked EVERY day....remember this is a dollar store not a high priced retailer...she doesn't cut on staffing to keep costs down...she also is always on the floor ...working....Love going in regularly for stuff.....just found out they carry batteries for garage remotes....same batteries at Walmart for $6.00...and guess what price they are at her store????LOL read more

This Dollar Tree is the greatest in Arizona. The manager Chris and the staff is amazing. Store is super clean, even though the sign on the door says they are getting ready for inventory. CAN NOT OPEN ON TIME STATED ON ENTRANCE DOORS! (THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED) Had an interesting experience with Val the cashier this morning. I presented myself at 8 am at the front doors, they were still locked. The cashier stated that it was 2 minutes till and that she did not have a cashiers drawer. She looked panicked and proceeded to find the manager. The manager did not seem to be an any hurry to get to the front of the building. Finally opened 10 minutes later. Found what I was looking for. And went to the cashier, when asked does the manager always open late Val, stated no that they even open early on Sundays. She also stated that they had a delivery truck out back, and that there were not enough employees. I stated that you guys have a delivery truck out back almost every day. She then replied that she was a little sorry, then as I walked away towards the exit doors, Val then states very loudly, to the next customer in line... Oh...Well...can't please everyone! Look its a really nice and cheap place I go every weeks. The quality is pretty fair. The deals are amazing. Only one main problem. The store is a tiny bit messy. This is a minnor problem but I'd like to address it. There are some seasonal only items. If I dont have time to drop by I cant get things I like. Examples- Pop Its and Sparklers. Otherwise its amazing. Clerks are nice and yeah pretty much if you have time drop by. read more
