I called back and talked to the same "rude " so called 40 year in business owner to ask why it wasn't picked up yet and he went off on a tangent about this being the busiest weekend and 200 other customers and no help , and then went on and asked me if I was one of "those guys " who sat around and watched my lawn all day ! WTF ? Who does this guy think he is ? So .....I had to do a face to face with this arrogant so called business owner . Sure enough....just what I thought....jumped up in my face and proceeded to tell me I'ma "Kenny" .....ya know a male "Karen"....not once but at least five times ! He is a lucky man.... There's frequently something going on in Booklovers, author talks, book signing, and demonstrations. They have a large book selection to pick from including local authors and autographed copies of books. There is also a good selection of used and children's books in the back part of the store. I love the selection of gifts also, cards, jewelry, honey. I'm sure you could find something here for lots of people on your list!
