I've stopped in for everything from last-minute party supplies to cleaning products and random household basics, and most of the time I find exactly what I need. For the price point, the selection is actually pretty solid. You can grab snacks, storage bins, greeting cards, toiletries -- all without feeling like you just drained your wallet. Like most busy NYC locations, it can get a little crowded, especially during peak hours, but the staff keeps things moving. The cashiers work quickly, and even when the line looks long, it doesn't usually take forever. I've had a few interactions where employees were genuinely helpful when I couldn't find something, which I appreciated. The store layout is pretty straightforward, so once you've been there once or twice, you know exactly where to go. It's a practical neighborhood spot -- nothing flashy, just affordable essentials in a convenient location. If you live nearby in Crown Heights or Bed-Stuy and need basic items without spending a lot, this Dollar Tree is reliable. It's one of those places you're glad is in the neighborhood when you need it.

I saw a pair of Gucci high heels for $16.99 which they were my size but they were 5.5. But I got nice Miz Mooz sandals made in Portugal for $16.99 and those cost over $179. The lines are long but they move fast. The nice and pretty Spanish girl at the return line is super nice. Maria and Lula are also very helpful and accommodating! But now that I've gone to this Fulton street one and saw all their products, I'm going to be coming to this location more often. The lines are ridiculously long compared to other locations but it's worth it for the savings you're going to get. They have a lot of good deals here especially the St. Ives apricot scrub that costs around $3 compared to your local pharmacy store where it's around $10! Disposable razors and Dove body wash are all affordable here. Prices are very low here. Also they got black legging tights that are very affordable. Lots of socks and bras that you can get for cheap prices. They also pack of 5 tapes and 48 pack of Kirkland batteries for $12.99, which is definitely way cheaper than Costco! Lots of seasonal products like Christmas ornaments and decor for cheap prices. Just the style to my opinion is very glittery and too flashy for my taste. I try to come here time to time to score good deals because their products are sometimes ever changing. Sometimes they gave the same products and other times they got new products on their shelves. You have to check it time to tune to make sure you score something good! I love their shopping tote bag too. They have the standard size and large size. Very sturdy bags and reusable. One thing I wish they did was to do something about the long line. It's very long at times and takes forever.

I bought some new years glasses that were broken out the packaging. I only wanted to exchange, so I picked up the same pair, explaining to him the issue. He looked at me with no concern or interest in what I was saying. He said absolutely nothing, ripped my receipt off the broken item and threw my receipt across the counter at me. That was very poor customer service and he need not be working here or owning a business if that's how he interacts with paying customers. I was really upset by this, but just took my receipt and walked out!

Leo, and his son Greg, along with a very helpful staff, own and operate a real 7 days a week neighborhood discount store that is a step above the 99 cent stores in quality but competitive with them in price. From $1 vitamin water to deals on cereal, pasta, health and beauty care products, greeting cards, school supplies, small appliances to toys, Discount Plus is the place just about everyone goes in the neighborhood. I think it is that small town touch of knowing their customers names that really makes the store special. What I mean by that is, I remember and recognize from which section/aisle has the cheap beauty products, cute Squishmallow plushies, or even the tech stuff like laptop stands and usb-c phone cables. Has a decent selection of mostly everything in sight. Can see that staff is always working by tidying up the place and making sure everything is up and running. Nothing looks messy and you won't find items lying around on the floor unlike the one in Union Square. Service from staff is usually quick, helpful, and polite. Always accepts both cash and card for payment. They have $3 cute spa headbands and decent lippies from L.A. Girl + Wet & Wild like lipsticks and lipglosses for $3. A small decent-size LED mirror is like $5. Can never resist and usually end up buying a plushie or two especially the cute ones smh. I can totally stay and walk around at 5Below for hours. It's warm in there anyway lol. Out of Target + CVS + Walgreens, Five Below has the most affordable pricing ever for Squishmallow plushies at only $5 (plus 55¢ for tax). Can easily walk out from Five Below by already spending $20-30 since everything is just so affordable. It's kinda hard to leave without spending $1. So for me, Five Below has good value things despite it might be selling at lower price points.
