This store is pretty messy, and very random with its inventory, but the prices are very low. I had to walk around for a while to find someone to ask about their merchandise. It is nice to have a store like this in an expensive and overpriced city, especially for the residents.

This store is massive, and it went above my expectations. I personally expected to find stationary items, and other paper goods. But there's so much more. They have unique Japanese snacks and candy. There's an assortment of organizing tools, they have baby and toddler supplies. There are proper glass cups, plates and bowls. They have those large, trendy stuffies and plush blankets. Anything and everything can be found at Daiso. Most items are under $5.00, any item without a price tag is $2.25. I wish they offered a restroom for customers, so they're not rushing to leave, when they had the intention to make a purchase. This is based on personal experience. Daiso is a fun retailer. Always accepts both cash and card for payment. They have $3 cute spa headbands and decent lippies from L.A. Girl + Wet & Wild like lipsticks and lipglosses for $3. A small decent-size LED mirror is like $5. Can never resist and usually end up buying a plushie or two especially the cute ones smh. I can totally stay and walk around at 5Below for hours. They had lots of newer books but still plenty of classics as well. My wife even happened to come across a book she has been looking for and wanting to read for a long while so big win there. Staff were friendly and we did not have a long wait to buy the book, no line. Prices felt quite standard for a book store.
