They explain what it is in detail on their website, and I was intrigued. I really liked the technician and the front desk person. The service was excellent. They offered me a beverage upon arrival, eye patches during my manicure, and sent me home with cuticle oil for continued cuticle care. The manicure was done with extreme precision, and the polish was applied meticulously. The cuticle removal went just a tiny bit too deep on a couple of my nails. The color came out noticeably lighter than the sample on the nail rack, so it's worth asking for a second coat or checking the color in natural light before they proceed. There is limited free parking in front of the salon. The space is small, and the 2 pedicure chairs are quite close to the 4 manicure tables. They required a non-refundable 20% deposit ($18 for a $90 manicure) at the time of making my appointment. But the online booking is easy. They have a loyalty card program and a fun giveaway lottery.

I plan to come back for future fills and will update my review accordingly if my experience strays from this original one! Con: the removal method was a little rough. It was the method of essentially ripping/peeling off my old set when i feel like im used to soaking in acetone and filing off. Wanting to mention it in case anyone is sensitive to that and my nails were filed pretty thin. Colors: since it was my first time, I didn't have a chance to look at every single color option but i do recall they did offer some cat eye and chrome options for more. Cons: Pedicures are hit and miss depending on who you get. Sometimes it feels rushed and other times inconsistent polish job. Gel removal is aggressive and damaging so now when I get gel I remove it before my appt. Recently a lot of turnover and the nail techs that I like have departed (Diem is still there though!). 12.28.25 - gel mani w/Mai was great. That woman who did my pedi left my nails a mess. She did so much touch up with acetone that it left my feet and cuticles dry and ashy and somehow it was still polish everywhere. Clearly, I'll have to remove this. I wish all techs were good like before. It's uncomfortable to have to call out someone's bad job while they're standing there waiting on a tip.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. The purple and red sets were from past years and the blue set is from today... After today I will NOT be going back. The woman who did my pedicure today rushed through the job. She didn't put anything between my toes to avoid the polish rubbing off and onto another toe, she didn't put on a base coat before applying gel polish, and she very vigorously buffed away the sides of my feet (not the heel or ball of my foot- she was distracted talking to her friend). Then when it came to doing a 5 minute foot massage, she decided half way through that she was over it and just put pressure on my toes, bending them toward the floor to stretch them and continued talking to the tech next to her. I'd like to say that was the end of the experience, but it wasn't. The guy that did my manicure was probably new. He filed off the topcoat with his machine on high speed and burned my nail plate, then didn't really know what steps to do the service in. By the time he had me soak my nails in water, the bowl was already cold. He was friendly and tried to make sure I was happy at each step but honestly i was so disappointed with how my pedicure was going, i just wanted to leave. I told the person at check out that I was unhappy with the service and explained to him why. The guy wanted me to sit down so that someone could redo it - which is crazy to ask someone to do when they just spent an hour and a half to leave with half-assed nails. No discount offered, so I had to pay $110 for nails that I wasn't even happy with. Which reminds me, i guess they raised the prices on some of their services. A woman who left before me asked why her bill was more than before and they explained that the service she usually got was raised in price (they didn't tell her that before she sat down for her service). And to top it all off, the new guy at the front desk wearing the top that said ___ Atelier thought it was funny to joke around and pretend to spray the disinfectant spray into one of the tech's drinks when she was asking him to leave her alone. What a horrible time. If you still choose to go here after this review, please only go to see Nancy or Jenna. They are the only two techs have given me a beautiful set of nails.
