I wanted to update my previous review after giving the salon another chance, and I'm really glad I did. I came back and saw Sabrina, who I've seen several times in the past, and she did an amazing job as always. The salon also gave me a discount based on my previous experience, which I really appreciated. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of this time and even followed up with me throughout the appointment. I truly appreciate that they listened to my concerns and made an effort to make things right. I can only speak to my personal experience, but I've consistently had great results with Sabrina. My nails last, and her shaping, filing, and overall finish always look amazing. She takes her time and pays attention to the details. The salon itself is also very clean, which is something that's really important to me when choosing a nail salon. I'm happy with how they handled the situation and appreciate them taking accountability and making the effort to regain my trust. I'll definitely continue coming back and seeing Sabrina! read more

Usually the package I get at my usual salon includes the callous removal, but this salon charged $10 extra. Since they were celebrating a grand opening of their rebranding, they had a giveaway of a nice bag plus cosmetic goodies. Came here with my best friend as walk ins. I wanted to get gel ex and and a pedicure and my friend just wanted a regular manicure. The place is clean and there is a decent amount of staff. It's nice that it's not very crowded, allowing it to stay clean. The pedicure was OK - I docked a star because of the 10 minutes that it should have been a massage, I probably only got about 5 minutes and it was a very weak pressured massage. The gel x that I got did not come with a manicure but more of a gel x application and clean up around the nails. I have definitely received better manicures at other places. The prices are not cheap either (total for all the treatments + tip was over $200). It's a great spot to come to for a clean quick mani/pedi or nail coloring, but I may rethink it for the more expensive procedures. read more

Just updating because I absolutely LOVE this place. It's always comfortable and they always get me seated right away even when it's busier. Jay is WONDERFUL. I almost always want to see him because he is really precise and you can tell he actually cares about creating a quality mani/ pedi. Even the basic pedicures I've gotten from him have lasted at least a month. I've gotten multiply Gel X manicures with ombre and they turn out beautifully every time, exactly how I request. The space is a little crammed but it's honestly very comfortable and the pricing is pretty decent for what you get. I've been to many other places so I have a lot to compare and Beaut is the only place I'll go now. It can be a gamble with nail places but I highly suggest going here, you won't be disappointed :) read more

For my first time getting a gel manicure, I opted for liquid gel. March was my technician and he was very skilled. He did file my nails down very short, but they were all even and neat. He was careful and caring. The shop layout was kind of odd. I sat in a living room type chair and March sat next to me. He draped a dirty towel over the surface and then had me rest my hand on a container of cotton balls. For a high-priced place, at least provide a clean towel and don't wipe my hands with it. That was kind of icky. The tools were fresh and sanitized, however. I would have given more stars if the setup had been less janky and more professional and/or if the price was lower. read more

I've been to Beaut Without Y in the past and had been happy with the service for regular mani/pedi, but my latest visit, didn't have the same experience and the quality of service seems to have declined but the staff was friendly and nice. I went with a group of 6 last night to get my nails polished before my vacation. We were one of the last people there before they closed. When I got home and looked at my nails, noticed all the polish was uneven. Another person in the group got gel pedicure for a wedding this weekend, and when she got home, noticed the paint for two nails completely fell off! I forgot my sunglasses so I went back to pick them up and gave the front desk feedback about my friends toes and showed them my nails. They apologized and offered to redo them but I couldn't stay since I had to catch a flight. They did offer a GC for $23 which doesn't cover the cost for a regular manicure (costs $27) and max they offered is $25. Hopefully they take my feedback and work on the quality of service. Pros - Friendly staff - Can accommodate larger parties Cons - Continually pushed to upsell packages during my service. Andy was not good at all. He didn't so much as even smile at us. Rude. He rushed through the job and paid no attention to detail. Bella did fun designs on my nails right before Halloween and they were the coolest nails I've ever had! Kayla also gives a fantastic manicure! Very disappointing experience at Glamicure. From the moment I walked in, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, as several employees looked at me strangely as if I didn't belong there as an African-American woman. I arrived on time for my appointment but was left waiting while staff sat around on their phones instead of helping. When my technician (who never gave her name) started, she tried to upsell me to gel polish. After I declined, her attitude changed and the service felt rushed and careless. The manicure itself was poor quality. The French tips were uneven, with inconsistent thickness and patchy, translucent white polish. I was also supposed to receive a five-minute hand massage, but it lasted barely a minute total. One nail even had a hair trapped under the polish. When I asked for it to be fixed, they didn't properly correct it--just tried to hide it. I later noticed it was still there, and that nail wasn't even fully finished with a top coat. For a $45 manicure, I expected much better service and professionalism. I did not feel respected as a customer and will not be returning. read more
