Well... over 30 min wait with an appointment. Picked my own color and applied a different color that I did not select. Tried to convince me they were the same and was NOT AT ALL. Messed up big toe after I asked it to be fixed multiple times. And left with multiple cuts from filing down. As I was trying to explain why I was unhappy with the work and asked for a discount, they continued to force me to pay in full. Tried to convince the salon that I was crazy and causing a scene as I kept calm. The owner continued to raise their voice and followed me out the door. Leaving the salon with my feet looking worse than before I arrived. I left not only disappointed, but unsatisfied. Happy Birthday to me

    4 days later GEL manicure

Literally just got these done 4 days ago !!!!! Not only did one of the ladies cut off my toenail to the meat , the quality of the GEL nail polish is extremely cheap . I feel bad making this cause the owner is a Sweetheart and her staff is the one who did my nails . But this is Unacceptable for $90 !

I had a great experience at Nails by Kim! It took a very long time to finish my pedicure and gel manicure but they were efficient in cleaning and making the nails look nice. A little over priced for add ons like stones etc which I didn't like. Now I know though. Update: I'm sad to say but I can't give this place 4 stars. I just got my gel manicure 4 days ago, which I paid nearly $60 for and the gel is just peeling off. Literally- look at the picture. I am going to go there today and see if they will give me a free manicure to make up for the inconvenience. The gel also started developing weird stains after day 2! I don't know if it's technique or the polish they use but I hope that can make this right for me.

The worst manicure I've ever had. She nicked me several times, one even bled. The manicure doesn't even look good. She was very rough and was grinding down my nails so much that it burned. Wasn't relaxing or enjoyable at all. The extensions were thick and didn't look natural. Made an appointment and still waited almost 30 minutes. Others waiting nearly an hour. One of my nails has already cracked and my cuticles hurt so bad I had to pay someone else to have them removed.

Great pedicure and gel mani , the massage chair was well cleaned and they had acrylic shields up that were protective but didn't make you feel like you were in a fortress. Definitely will be back in two weeks

Worst service & quality, this is only 3 days after and she even charged extra for polish that would supposedly last longer

I was excited to come here because of the reviews but couldn't be more upset upon leaving. This is one of those nail places that charges you extra for everything. When I called I asked how much for mani pedi and if they take card. She told me $30 and yes they take credit card. With tip I ended up paying $50 for a regular mani pedi with their ridiculous add ons! They charged me $2 extra because I chose opi polish then charged me $6 for a foot scrub which is usually included at other places. I opted out of the $5 foot massage which meant no massage at all, something also included in regular mani pedis. In the end, she also charged me because I didn't have cash tip, AFTER I had asked on the phone if they took card. The worst part is that the place is disgustingly dirty (my massage chair was broken and the floor was filthy) and my manicure only listed 2 days (see pics). After all those add-ons, my nails didn't gene make it through the weekend... I could not be more displeased with this visit.

    Pedicure was good overall

It was decent. I called at 230pm to make an appointment for 3pm for a full set and a pedicure ,and Vicky said come on in. I didn't get seated till 335pm Pros: -Helen is good at acrylics. They were the shape I wanted and she asked me lots of questions. She was also meticulous about corners and dis a good job buffing/shaping. -Pedicure lady was nice -they have OPI and Essie colors -they have massage chairs -friendly happy staff Cons: -Price is whatever. Considering they are in a strip mall and lack any ambiance. Or large selection of colors. I paid $20 for a pedicure, and I think $27 for the full set with white French manicure painted on top, + I think she added a quick dry coat. So $47 + 1 credit card fee= $48 -the place does look kind of dirty. I agree w other yelpers -they want TIPS IN CASH. there's a large sign to remind you of that. No, you can't just add it to your credit card -my French manicure could have used another coat, a couple of my nails look stripey? -they use a technicians cell phone for music so when you're relaxing and then it rings, it can be pretty jarring Overall, I'd probably come back just to see Helen for the full set but maybe find somewhere else to get a pedicure/massage chair/better ambiance.

    Beautiful right!!!!

I was prepared for flinching and pain each pull like with my sugaring, but there was no need! Liz was fantastic! Experienced, positive vibe, and makes you feel completely comfortable. The wax actually felt relaxing when applied. I would give it 5 stars; however, I waited in the back building where there is one chair for about 10-15 minutes since I was early and had to listen to 2 other employees around the corner complain about everything (taxes, politics, jobs). It was mainly one girl talking, but maybe close the door for customers. It was way too early in the morning for that much complaining. Liz turned my experience around instantly with her energy though. The online scheduling experience and ladies at the counter were great. I had to re-schedule my appointment a couple days prior and they were accommodating and pleasant when I called. There are products and other things for sale to browse in the front room if you arrive early. They offered water upon arrival. Oh and they have a location in Seattle! Parking: Small private lot or ample street parking.

I work with Kendra and during our very first session she was extremely professional, kind and informative about the entire electrolysis process. As someone who has suffered from PCOS since I was 14, it's been a constant cause of great shame as a woman due to my unwanted facial and body hair. It felt like a curse that I would never be able to get rid of and when I found Kendra she gave me hope and restored my confidence in my looks. Over the course of a year the hair growth I have has drastically decreased, her sessions are concentrative and effient, Kendra specializes in PCOS clients as she also battles it herself. The sessions are gentle with very little irritation as long as you follow the aftercare regimens she suggests. 2 to 3 sessions per month are optimal for best results and patience is key! When I first arrived to the MDR office I was warmly welcomed by the front desk, I wish I caught her name but she was such an angel and incredibly helpful! I let her know that this was going to be my 2nd underarm laser hair removal (diff company years ago) and FIRST ever brazilian of any kind and I incredibly terrified. She was very genuine and really did try to calm my nerves - especially about the brazilian. She also gave me some tips and told me it was going to be a breeze - it was very hard to believe her but boy did I try! I was taken into the exam room and my nurse was miss Dora and she phenomenal!!!! So patient and experienced and made sure throughout that I was doing ok. She started with my underarms, but before she did I asked for an icepack for my lady parts to freeze while I waited and she gave me one. The machine they use is one I have never experienced, it had a fan and was cooling and FAST. Dora gave me a heads up of the parts where it could feel a a little "spicy" than the normal light pinch feeling and that was helpful so I can anticipate. She then moved down south and this is where my fear really set it - she again gave me some areas where it could hurt and honestly...it was SO freakin easy. I definitely encountered some "oh shit that hurt" moments but honestly it was VERY tolerable. Dora made me feel so comfortable and it was obvious that this was not her first rodeo - I hope I get her again the next time I go! I left with my ego still intact - and again the front desk was ever so sweet and we scheduled upcoming appointments. I also purchased a package that I am very excited to use throughout the year and it sounds very worth it! Thank you sooooo much MDR LaserAway. Ya'll are amazing - praise the lase!

I was literally in the treatment room being numbed before the first session and a man from the front desk came in to upsell me on an additional package of 3. For the treatment itself, I expected pain akin to tattoo shading on a sensitive area - this was so much worse. The nurse assured me it was fine. Afterwards I was incredibly swollen and had deep grid marks from the device. This continued well beyond their aftercare timeline, and I contacted LaserAway by email and phone. It took nearly a week for anyone to get back to me. By then I had already gone to an actual dermatologist and was put on a steroid cream to help heal the damage and prevent scaring. I learned that the settings used on the device were way too aggressive. My skin remained inflamed for weeks, and over a year later I still have grid mark texture all over my face, neck and chest & have lost significant volume in my fat pads around my eyes, lips and cheeks. Getting anyone on the phone to resolve this felt impossible by design - eventually I got a hold of the sales rep who sold me in initially, and explained that I had a horrible outcome and cannot continue. They changed my remaining pre-paid package value to laser hair removal, which felt low risk enough. Of the 8 sessions of laser hair removal I had, my appointments were changed 4 separate times, often same day. In the end, all 8 sessions combined weren't nearly as effective as the laser hair removal I've had done elsewhere with fewer sessions. Still, the woman at the front desk made sure to ask if I needed to purchase another package before I exited my last appointment - and unsurprisingly, there happened to be a special limited time promo. I'm left with skin damage, a lot of wasted time & money, and deeply ashamed that I fell for the gimmick in the first place. If you're considering LaserAway, especially for advanced facial treatments, please get a consult & quote from a cosmetic dermatologist first.
