I kept hearing great things about Fame Good Eats, so I finally decided to give it a try. I have to say, my experience was a bit mixed--but I will definitely be back to give it another shot. Let me start with the food: it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was generous, and the prices were very reasonable. No complaints there at all. Where things fell short for me was the service. To be fair, the place was packed--people waiting both inside and outside--which is usually a great sign of a popular spot. When I went in, I gave my name and mentioned I was dining solo and happy to sit at the counter. I noticed an open seat but was asked to wait until my name was called. A few minutes later, a waitress came around checking on guests and realized there was, in fact, a seat available, so she sat me right away. After looking over the menu and deciding what I wanted, I sat for about 10 minutes without anyone coming over. The same staff member noticed and ended up taking my order. One thing that stood out to me--I was asked to pay upfront, which felt a little unusual, especially since I noticed other customers were paying at the end of their meals. Not a big deal, just something I found odd. Unfortunately, while sitting at the counter, I also witnessed two staff members arguing and using inappropriate language in front of customers, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. All that said, I truly believe the food speaks for itself, and that's what matters most to me. I'm hopeful this was just an off day because I would absolutely go back again and give them another chance. Please don't let this review deter you from trying them. I'm hoping it was just an off day.

I learned about Fame early this year and have become a regular. My absolute favorite place for brunch. My go to is shrimp and grits but my husband loves the omlettes and and sons like the French toasts and pancakes. Their shakshuka is great too. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is fantastic. There is always a wait on weekends but it moves quick. PRO TIP: go during the week. The menu is the same and its easier to be seated immediately. Best of all is the warmth and generosity of the owners. When I met Mo I told him about my work at a nonprofit and he supported our work! So kind! I am so appreciative I made a little design around the photos I took of my food!

There is so much else I can say. I come here more than I come to any other restaurant and every time they not get out of the park.

The best Philly cheesesteak. No need to drive down to Philadelphia. Ribeye Cheesesteak Fries

Fame is a great neighborhood eatery. The breakfast is really good. Today we came in to get Moe's cheesesteak. It is truly a fantastic cheesesteak. Really there's no need to ride down to Philadelphia to get a cheesesteak when this quality sandwich is right here. Mo and his father Anton run a really nice establishment and the staff is amazing and energetic. Highly recommend becoming a regular.

Finally got to try it out for lunch today and it was pretty great. So fast , closer than I thought, and that plaza has done well all stores are in business. I will be back again. I got a salad with fruit and grilled chicken and I added a small New England clam chowder soup, both were good and filling. My husband had a skillet bowl and he liked it. Lunch came out to 40 with the iced coffee he got but I think it was pretty good. I love to leave a place full. Service was really attentive, food came out fast and I was content. I will be back with my son so he can try one of their interesting, pancakes , waffles, or French toast! Yum! No wait , not too crowded, and plenty parking in plaza.

I was on a road trip and staying in New Hope, PA. Scouring Yelp for the best breakfast that's more of a mom & pop vibe that are nearby. I came across Fame Good Eats and boy was I thrilled! I ended up eating breakfast here two days in a row. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The menu items all sounded amazing, making it difficult to just pick one item. I ended up ordering the Biscuits & Gravy (epic comfort food) and the following day, I ordered the Lemon Berry Bliss pancakes. Chefs kiss. I will return next time I'm in the area. Would definitely recommend taking a look at this place. Also, it looks like it was a former bank at some point. Really cool history associated with the location.

Second time back, this time for brunch with my wife and a new friend. No matter how busy they were, 20 minute back up out the door, we were so well taken care of. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Not sure what type of vitamins they are taking, no time to slow down. Kudos to the staff. Our brunch food was delicious l, was hot, flavorful, colorful and did I say delicious !!!!! See our food pics/ Can not go wrong. Except go early.

My wife and I have a new project to try everything on the menu at least once. Banana fosterific French toast and biscuits and gravy. Again both were great, while there was plenty of sausage gravy, I kind of thought maybe an extra half biscuit would have been a nice touch. ....either way we will be back.

We yelped this place when we were in the area and Yelp never fails me! It was really good! We tried a chorizo Benedict and a crème brûlée French toast. Both were delicious! The bathroom was nice and clean. The service was good.

First of all, it is the closest takeout restaurant to the Civil courthouse( also known as the place where potential jurors come to check in and wait to be called) I love that they share a small storefront with a florist, but it does make for tight quarters, esp during the ordering and waiting process. And the customer service was top notch. My first visit was for a lunch order. It was difficult trying to read the specials of the day menu, let alone the standard menu. This was due to timing, several people were ordering and or waiting. Once chicken quesadillas caught my eye I stopped reading. My selection came out fairly quickly and was packaged with small containers of salsa Fresca and sour cream. But I'm pretty sure menu read that some type of salad was also included, this was left out. They were pretty good too, well seasoned pulled chicken and cheese, the flour tortillas were perfectly grilled and stayed that way even in the package. It was a nice serving and I would have really enjoyed had it come with a fresh and simple salad. I would order again as well. My next two visits were just for a pick me up bakery item. The pumpkin muffin was excellent. The chocolate chip one was not very good. Not enough chips and a dry texture. But during each trip the owner was right up front and being helpful and friendly to all. I feel that this spirit does go into the food that is prepared and served here. Good spot for locals, workers and even the confused juror.

Walk past their kitchen and it is Amoroso's Flower Shop, where you can still buy a bouquet of roses for your anniversary. Love the adaptive reuse of this old storefront on S. Broad Street, Trenton; right across from the very old courthouse. It is hard to find driving by, and there are seldom parking spaces within the surrounding area. But, if you work or live in the neighborhood, or go to the new civil or criminal courts, you can walk over and pick up soup, sandwich, breakfast muffin, etc., on your way to the office. It closes at 2:00 pm. Service is exemplary given how small the space is. The two friendlies who helped me out were attractive and efficient. One made up my grilled chicken chipotle wrap, while the other provided the history of the business and worked the register. Both were happy to pose for photos when I pulled out my Yelp screen after ordering. You can see the results. The lunch was very good. Fresh, quality ingredients and TLC. Plenty of stuffing for a large wrap. It was enough for two meals. @ $8.50, it was a spectacular deal. Too bad there is no place to sit, because the room is comfy in a cramped way, and it would be nice to absorb more atmosphere from the winsome workers.

During my recent visits, I noticed some inconsistencies in portion sizes. At first, I thought it might just be a one time thing, but today I had a chance to observe a few orders being prepared while waiting for my husband's smoothie. It seemed like some bowls were filled above the measuring line, while mine was slightly under. I completely understand that things can vary during busy times, but I just wanted to mention it as feedback. Consistency in portions would really help ensure all customers feel they're getting the same value. I enjoyed the vibe right away. It felt welcoming, and I could hear people around me enjoying their meals, which is always a good sign. I only ordered coffee (there's just one size option), and it was good and hot -- although my lid was cracked. They do offer either a to-go cup or a mug if you're staying, which I liked. I do wish there were a few more small Danish or pastry options to grab with a coffee. Sometimes you just want a simple little something on the side. The only thing I was curious about was the music. Worship songs were playing the entire time. I wasn't sure if the owners are religious or if the staff just didn't realize what station was on. It's definitely a bold choice and might not resonate with everyone, depending on their beliefs. That said, it didn't ruin my visit -- just something I noticed. Overall, I'd return and would be happy to stop by again for another review soon. **After posting and reading other reviews... maybe I came (in the morning) at a bad time and there weren't pastries available?

I think in many of our cultures, getting ice cream was somewhat of a treat and possibly enjoyed while on summer vacations. In this environment it gets even better. That was my mindset when seeing TIP for the first time. Clean and brightly colored shop with very nice outdoor seating options. Going inside you encounter a clean, colorful and brightly lit space with a few more tables. The counter was plexiglassed ala Covid style. Cases held about 12 ice cream choices, with maybe 8 more ice choices. Several options looked appealing to me. I went with old faithful chocolate and paired it with something I've never had, banana split. While I liked the chocolate, I really liked the split. It did remind me of getting sundaes and such as a child. The flavors were clean in both, and not overly sweetened. A better than average creaminess, but not in the upper tier. I'd get either again, or maybe one of the rotating flavors. The ice cream is not made in house, I was informed that it is sourced from local makers. I have a few suspicions as to who they might be, but of course more research will be required;). I really enjoyed talking with the owner and his two sons. To say this is a family business and or a labor of love is just barely hitting the mark. I'm tempted to tell the whole story here but I think it's better for the curious to just visit themselves. This is a business I would love to see thrive for many years. And as they succeed it could offer hope to other businesses or even families. Trenton needed this.
