We've been here a few times now, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is consistently excellent--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff really sets this place apart, though. Everyone has been friendly, welcoming, and happy to make recommendations, which we've never regretted following. We're in New Jersey, surrounded by diners on every corner, and we're more than willing to pass them all up for this place. I've been hearing great things about this place for years. I'll confess that I'm not a big breakfast or brunch type, but when another Yelper touted their cheesesteak I had to try it. A friend recently moved to Morrisville and I found myself in the area at lunchtime after a visit. I wanted to try a few things but it looked as though the steak was a big one, so I just had that. The fries that came with it were very good too. As was foretold, the steak was one of the best I've had in years. Let me start with the roll, long seeded torp that had a light toasting. ALL steaks should be so lucky as to have this as a delivery vehicle, most sandwiches too. The beef was tender and nicely seasoned and cheese and onions were evenly distributed throughout. The portion size/cost was very fair, this was 2 meals for me. My only critique would be on the Cooper American cheese used. I would prefer a sharper cheese, Cooper sharp or even provolone. I'll inquire if there are other options. Even if there weren't, I'd still get this anytime. I saw several other lunch items of interest to me, and in the right frame of mind and early enough several breakfast options too. Service was friendly and fast. Tucked way in the corner nook of a shopping center at the corner of Trenton Ave and Pennsylvania St in Morrisville is Fame Good Eats. We have been there several times already so I was surprised I hadn't reviewed it. The food here is always fresh and the staff can be slow at times they are always friendly. Serving breakfast and lunch they have creative menu items and standard classics. With minimalistic decor the place is comforting and inviting. Hosting tables, booths and counter seating there is plenty of room for everyone. The open kitchen is a treat allowing you to see the magic behind the curtain. I kept hearing great things about Fame Good Eats, so I finally decided to give it a try. I have to say, my experience was a bit mixed--but I will definitely be back to give it another shot. Let me start with the food: it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was generous, and the prices were very reasonable. No complaints there at all. Where things fell short for me was the service. To be fair, the place was packed--people waiting both inside and outside--which is usually a great sign of a popular spot. When I went in, I gave my name and mentioned I was dining solo and happy to sit at the counter. I noticed an open seat but was asked to wait until my name was called. A few minutes later, a waitress came around checking on guests and realized there was, in fact, a seat available, so she sat me right away. After looking over the menu and deciding what I wanted, I sat for about 10 minutes without anyone coming over. The same staff member noticed and ended up taking my order. One thing that stood out to me--I was asked to pay upfront, which felt a little unusual, especially since I noticed other customers were paying at the end of their meals. Not a big deal, just something I found odd. Unfortunately, while sitting at the counter, I also witnessed two staff members arguing and using inappropriate language in front of customers, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. All that said, I truly believe the food speaks for itself, and that's what matters most to me. I'm hopeful this was just an off day because I would absolutely go back again and give them another chance. Please don't let this review deter you from trying them. I learned about Fame early this year and have become a regular. My absolute favorite place for brunch. My go to is shrimp and grits but my husband loves the omlettes and and sons like the French toasts and pancakes. Their shakshuka is great too. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is fantastic. There is always a wait on weekends but it moves quick. PRO TIP: go during the week. The menu is the same and its easier to be seated immediately. Best of all is the warmth and generosity of the owners. When I met Mo I told him about my work at a nonprofit and he supported our work! So kind! Finally got to try it out for lunch today and it was pretty great. So fast , closer than I thought, and that plaza has done well all stores are in business. I will be back again. I got a salad with fruit and grilled chicken and I added a small New England clam chowder soup, both were good and filling. My husband had a skillet bowl and he liked it. Lunch came out to 40 with the iced coffee he got but I think it was pretty good. I love to leave a place full. Service was really attentive, food came out fast and I was content. This has been our favorite breakfast spot since our first of many visits, and the main reason is that they offer menu selections beyond the tired, old diner food you can get at every other place in the area. Right across the river from Trenton, and just a few blocks up from the Delaware River itself. Breakfasts are substantial and filling. Bring an appetite. They've a solid main menu with Omelets, Bennies, and skillets, but they bring some flair with less-common dishes such as Shrimp & Grits, Banana Foster french toast and Creme Brûlée french toast being dishes we've enjoyed, but they've also a specials menus that I go to more often than not. I see the Chicken and Waffles dish ordered by other diners frequently, but I've an unresolvable philosophical issue with the existence of chicken tenders. The only miss for us so far was with the pancakes, which the one time we ordered them were ordinary and dry. We'll stick with the French Toast in the future, which is very good. As a comparison, I'd say Cafe 72 is similar in the variety and interesting specials offered. The nod for me goes to Fame due to their offering tater tots as a potato choice. I like 72's pimentón take on home fries, but in the Roshambo world of East Coast breakfast potatoes, tater tots are the rock to home fries' scissors. Also, I like it that the hustling wait staff doesn't just work their individual tables, but that they jump in to take an order, serve a meal, or answer questions at any and all tables--not just their assigned section. That's great so that if the wait person who took my order is tied up taking an order at one table, someone else will cover for them and serve me if it's ready. Give them a try, and it will likely become a place you'll take your friends and family in the future. read more

I was on a road trip and staying in New Hope, PA. Scouring Yelp for the best breakfast that's more of a mom & pop vibe that are nearby. I came across Fame Good Eats and boy was I thrilled! I ended up eating breakfast here two days in a row. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The menu items all sounded amazing, making it difficult to just pick one item. I ended up ordering the Biscuits & Gravy (epic comfort food) and the following day, I ordered the Lemon Berry Bliss pancakes. Chefs kiss. I will return next time I'm in the area. I sat at the counter and had a server who was very nice, as she said she just started and was on her second day. She gave me some recommendations but I went with the fish and grits. The fish was whiting and the grits were nice and creamy. I also had some scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was jovial. When I looked at their menu I was hit with an incredibly difficult decision. Do I pick one thing that looks good or do I order 85% of the menu at once and get everything that appeals to me? Seriously, there were that many good options. Since I'm an adult and I'm supposed to be responsible, I limited myself to one meal. Boring, I know. I had the breakfast quesadilla and a cold brew coffee. The food came out steaming hot and they didn't skimp out on anything. Not only was the portion size huge, that sucker was stuffed! The coffee was perfect, sweet but not sugary and a great flavor. My mom got the Nutella crepe and I tried some of that too. The bananas and strawberries were fresh and the crepe itself was light and fluffy. It wasn't overcooked or super greasy as crepes can get. The food also came out lightening fast! The former Cafe Chorba has become Fame Good Eats in the Morrisville Shopping Center. Initial impression is very positive for the quality of food, service and cleanliness. I sat alone at the wide counter. Nicole handed me a menu and took my drink order (coffee w milk). Their Curtis drip machine had a mug in front of me in seconds. It was strong, dark and romantic. As a first timer, I kept my order simple until satisfied the kitchen was up to par. Although tempted by the Churro French Toast, I ended up with their Special Breakfast Sandwich (sausage, 2 eggs, cheese on large sweet brioche roll). Nice to have stainless flatware and ceramic plates as part of the experience. They added a touch of class to an otherwise full traditional luncheonette display. The sammy was quite good with all elements combining for a rich and delicious morning meal. The aioli spread made a nice and flavorful textural mix. It was all very satisfying. Service was attentive and attractive. My mug was refilled without being requested, and I met Anton (owner) who inquired into my satisfaction and appreciated my compliments. Nicole easily engaged in conversation about the new restaurant as well as my own businesses. Fame Good Eats has invested in a highly skilled kitchen that knows how to produce attractive and tasty dishes. First of all I was excited that it was actually potatoes bc normally every restaurant gives you hash browns which I'm not a fan.
