I recently stayed at this hotel. I will discuss the issue I had with this hotel. The furniture and television are the worst. The hotel management is the best. They were kind, helpful and considerate. This place is a dump! No smoke alarm. The walls and doors were beat up with scuffs and holes. The bathroom was unsanitary. The bedding had cigarette burns. The mattress had questionable stains. We looked around the room and left for econo-lodge down the street. DO NOT STAY HERE. read more

Strange smell in the room. Barely any towels and toiletries. Found a roach! My room with a pool view also had a view of trash and dirty laundry. Could they at least put up a barrier? The best thing was the pool but I didn't trust the cleanliness of the water based on the room. When I ran the shower, I could see dust and grains of dirt run down the tub! If I could give zero stars I would. Upon arriving to our room, me and my girlfriend immediately noticed the smell of smoke, and that the windows were left completely open even though it had been raining all day. As we took a look around our room, we noticed that the furniture was damaged and had several rips and tears all over them. When we inspected the beds, our bedsheets had hair and stains on them, and there were several alarming stains all over the boxsprings and mattresses. When we checked the bathroom, we saw that there was grime and mold all around the drain and all over the cracks on the walls of shower. There was no soap or toiletries available aside from a single travel size bottle of shampoo. When we checked in the room just felt and looked dirty. There was hairs on the pillows. Hairs around the bathroom, on top of the toilet. It felt like the cleaners did not clean. As we were checking out, we noticed our sliding door was unlocked the whole time. The towels even looked dirty. Love the city. But I would recommend looking for another place to stay. You can park directly in front of your suite with lists of dining and service on the same street. They're pet friendly as well, but rather you left the beast at home ! Wife and I needed a place to stay in Fallbrook to visit some dear friends. First day, I took shower, went to dry off, only to find whit towel had visible dirt and oil stains from previous users. Got new towels, checked them to be clean before usage, then maid came on second day of stay and replaced with "fresh" towels. My wife (Long blonde hair, myself bald) discovered a long black hair on her second "fresh" towel. Picture of towel is of second set of supposedly "clean" towels. Front desk got snarky with me when I wanted another set of towels, and I wanted them to open and inspect them before handing them to me. One washcloth had stains in the new set. All of the third world countries I've stayed in, had cleaner places than this dump. Black mold in the showers! Hair and stains on the towels, and staff not interested in helping. read more

Management is very unprofessional. My room got flooded in middle of the night. I called office, they told me they couldn't do anything about it that I had to wait till morning time. Manager also came to my door knocked once as he is opening the door, and his wife was right behind him. Like wtf. I would rather her walk in even though neither of them had the right to barge into my room like that. It was all over a shopping cart that was behind my car that needed to be moved. That did not belong to me. When I left that place that room was cleaner than what it was when I first started staying there. If I could rate this place a 0, I would. I made a reservation in advance, had a confirmation code and everything and they gave my room away just because I didn't answer their phone call. I'm from out of town and was at a birthday party, couldn't answer my phone, and was depending on my reservation. If I wanted or needed to cancel, I WOULD HAVE. Very disappointed in this business. I booked a room on the hotel website and failed to receive a confirmation email. I attempted to call the hotel directly (2) times and there was no answer. Additionally, my credit card was never pending a charge. Long story short, I booked another hotel with a reliable hotel chain. The Fallbrook Country Inn continued to charge me the full amount for the room, even when I attempted calling the hotel to cancel the day before (hotel did not answer). I called my credit card company to dispute the charge but Fallbrook Country Inn sent in a policy letter about their no show policy and I had to pay for the room. Fallbrook Country Inn got $93 dollars from me by having poor business practices. My recommendation is to pay the additional money for a reliable hotel and don't risk being in the same situation I was. read more

This was very clean and the manager at the front counter (Benny) was very nice and made us feel welcomed! She even offered us an upgrade but we kept our room. The room is quite big and accommodating with a small kitchen like space. It had a large closet for storage of ALL our luggage and equipment which was super nice because then we had more room for us! There is a pool but we were unable to use it due to lack of time. All in all a pleasant experience and I will stay again if I'm in Fallbrook. read more

While the rooms appear fresh and clean, and the grounds green and serene, the fact is that this place is one step above a crack hotel. I checked in to my room, put my stuff in, and went to get some dinner. After returning, I began to look around at my lodging choice. I've made some poor life choices before. But the decision to book a room here might be the absolute worst decision I have ever made. The bathroom was covered in mold, there were questionable curly black hairs all along the baseboard, and the sheets on the bed were oddly moist. After three hours of sitting in this room trying to convince myself it was fine, I gave up. There was no way I could spend even one night in this disgusting hellhole. Even Marjorie the Trash Heap (Fraggle Rock reference) would decide that this place was too gross. So, I left. I found another motel in Fallbrook and stayed there the next two nights. I've been trying to get a refund from this place- still to no avail. So, the best I can do is be a light unto others: Do NOT stay here. Keep moving. Find an Air BnB or VRBO. I really liked the courtyard , I didn't take pictures but it was really spacious outside, pool, hot tub, and your own chair and table like a patio. The walls need to be repainted and cleaned it looks pretty dirty and the color isn't doing it any favors. It also needs to be cleaned better the floors, corner, and front surfaces were also pretty dirty. I think this place has a lot of potential it's really quaint just needs upgrades and a good cleaning. They offer a free breakfast but I woke up and just wanted OUT, so I cannot comment on the state of the eating area. We stayed at this hotel 8 years ago. It has changed! The walls are dirty and the draped stained. The floor has a film on it- so you can't walk with your socks or bare feet. The beds creek and are sagging- everyone in my family had a sore back. The striker plate on the door must have been kicked in at some point. It wasn't secure enough to shut the door. It was too late at night to find another room and we have a child- but the next day they took $100 off our bill- that was going to be over $400 dollars for 2 nights. Over 200 per night? So we called and the owner says he'd take half off. $200 for a room that isn't clean and the door wouldn't shut? Ok- well he never took half off our bill. So we paid $300 for one night in this dump. the hotel is quaint and in a great location. The room we stayed in was a great size, good storage and the bathroom was roomy. However, it was very dated and all of the furnishings were worn, shabby and needed updating. it looks like they started some improvements because the pictures of the pool area are accurate and they have newer flooring. DISGUSTING. They state when you check in that housekeeping is required every other day- but they obviously don't clean floors. EVER. See attached pics. This was maybe 30 min into check in. 1- moms foot, 2- my toddlers socks & 3- wiping up the floor after spilling some water. I had booked 2 rooms & my brother {who has cancer & trouble speaking} decided he wanted to book his own instead of staying w/ my mom. The owner argued w/ him about letting him book- he's over 21, has a valid ID & card to pay for the room! He wouldn't take it & made my mom put the room in her name w/ her credit card. It makes no sense why they wouldn't want another room booked for 4 nights!!! That's an extra $300!!! The breaker flipped in our room while my mom was watching my toddler, on one of the hottest days in Fallbrook, the power went out & it was the middle of the day {11:20a}. My brother went to have someone come fix it & the lady said she couldn't come- there was no other customer at that time. My mom ended up going & was told that she couldn't leave the front because she was the only one there. They don't have a custodian there for these types of things? She told my mom that she would come later. WITH MY 22 MONTH OLD IN THE ROOM. My mom said "so you want the baby to get sick & THEN you'll come?! She came within 10 min because my mom made her. There are lists of things they will charge you for, so don't lose your key card, that will cost you $20. parking is strange, you park in front of the room and hope no one is a bit in your space. Stayed there July 2nd and July 3rd 2021. I would actually give it a negative 5 at best. Where to start mainly 90 plus degree weather and no air conditioning and the unwillingness of the management to move us to a different room. Two of the wall outlet plugs were pulled away from the wall and not safe to plug our cell phones in. Mold in the bathtub was disgusting and smelly. Bathroom towels were old and had stains on them, just wondering if they were even washed? probably not which made me wonder about how clean the sheets were.... The tile or porcelain floor was not mopped, I walked from the bathroom to the bed and my feet were black. The room reeked of mold or moisture as well. Don't forget about the roaches, did I say Roaches? yes I did and other bugs.. Management, nothing less than rude and arrogant unwilling to make anything right, all's they cared about is that they got their money. The manager was disrespectful and walked away and would not even give us a receipt when all was said and done. Certainly not worth $250.00 per night. even the lowest priced hotels are far better than this cesspool. My take on this is lack of respect, lack of customer service and pure rudeness.
