Strange smell in the room. Barely any towels and toiletries. Found a roach! My room with a pool view also had a view of trash and dirty laundry. Could they at least put up a barrier? The best thing was the pool but I didn't trust the cleanliness of the water based on the room. When I ran the shower, I could see dust and grains of dirt run down the tub! It's definitely not a place I will visit again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Upon arriving to our room, me and my girlfriend immediately noticed the smell of smoke, and that the windows were left completely open even though it had been raining all day. As we took a look around our room, we noticed that the furniture was damaged and had several rips and tears all over them. When we inspected the beds, our bedsheets had hair and stains on them, and there were several alarming stains all over the boxsprings and mattresses. When we checked the bathroom, we saw that there was grime and mold all around the drain and all over the cracks on the walls of shower. There was no soap or toiletries available aside from a single travel size bottle of shampoo. It was very clear the room was unsanitary and we promptly packed our things and returned our keys at the office.

As of today 11/23/ 2025 still dirty old ( not antiques ) they furnished their rooms with curbside furniture ,not thrift store. Bedding, torn from age. They need to fire their cleaning or get one . Doors are dirty tub could use a little bleach and elbow grease.

    Tv didn't work

If I could give this a ZERO I would. This is the absolute worst stay of my life. I thought I was being dramatic. After sharing photos with family - they encouraged me to reach out to the health department. There was mold, stains and just filth. We complained after one night ( we got in a bit past midnight just wanted to sleep). We were told she would personally come clean. I have attached photos. Please do not waste your money. $250 a night! For this?

Wife and I needed a place to stay in Fallbrook to visit some dear friends. First day, I took shower, went to dry off, only to find whit towel had visible dirt and oil stains from previous users. Got new towels, checked them to be clean before usage, then maid came on second day of stay and replaced with "fresh" towels. My wife (Long blonde hair, myself bald) discovered a long black hair on her second "fresh" towel. Picture of towel is of second set of supposedly "clean" towels. Front desk got snarky with me when I wanted another set of towels, and I wanted them to open and inspect them before handing them to me. One washcloth had stains in the new set. All of the third world countries I've stayed in, had cleaner places than this dump. Black mold in the showers! Hair and stains on the towels, and staff not interested in helping.

    Dirty mirror

This place is gross. They have very dirty sheets. Walls, mirrors, etc were not clean also. Feet prints on the walls. 1/5 or less. Don't stay here spend 10 more dollars and go to motel 6.

The rooms are horrible. So disappointed! The beds are unsanitary to even sit on. The tub had stains. So disgusted with the whole room.

Checked in around 10pm and no one was at the check-in desk. After a few, a young lady walked in from outside to help & we were assigned our room..... We started making our way to our room & things already started feeling a little sketchy. We noticed that the property didn't appear to be well kept. Also we noticed random broken things around the property. We saw a broken fire extinguisher case near our parking space. No fire extinguisher & just broken glass. We also saw a large broken glass window just layed up against one of the walls by the swimming pool..... Once we entered our room we noticed a very musky smell right away. More than likely because the building is on the older side. So, we decided to put on the a/c right away. We were then shocked to see that someone had tagged inside the lid of the a/c control panel (ghetto). Right away this gave me the ick feeling..... Once we put our things down I made my way to the restroom. BIGGEST shock out of everything. Apparently the check-in person decided to give us an ADA room for a handicap person. What!? That is NOT what I had booked. What made it worse is that we did not have a door for our bathroom. So weird..... The bathroom looked horribly cleaned and maintained. The floor was coming apart, the entry way to the bathroom was coming apart, broken window in the shower, dirty soap dish in the shower & a random long hair in the shower wall..... Was this bathroom even cleaned? I should've went back to the front desk to bring up these issues. But honestly, we were just so tired. We decided to just bring it up to the staff in the morning...... Woke up and made our way back to the lobby for their free breakfast. Very limited items.... Took this time to address the ADA room issue. The check-in person apologized and advised that this never happens..... BUT, it did. I was then advised that they were very booked and by the time we checked in they gave us what was avaliable. I explained that this is NOT good customer service. Especially if we had pre-booked and paid for a standard room.... This facility shouldn't be over booking their rooms & just automatically give their guest whatever room is available. We should've been given the room that we had booked and prepaid for. This experience was not a quality one from Quality Inn. I'm hoping this was just a random bad experience.... They really need to work on their property upkeep and sanitation......

I explained that the reservation was under my husband's name, but instead of helping resolve the issue, he gave me a hard time and insisted the reservation needed to be changed before allowing us to check in. While waiting in the lobby, I also overheard several guests complaining about bed bugs, which was already concerning. Once we finally got into our room (Room 153 on the first floor), we turned on the lights and immediately saw multiple roaches scatter across the room. Some were even crawling on the tables, and one had an egg case attached to it. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. We packed up immediately and returned to the front desk. The employee came to inspect the room himself, and it was so obvious that there was no argument or hesitation--he refunded us on the spot. We left and had to find another place to stay late at night because there was no way we were going to spend the night in that room. This was, without question, the most disgusting hotel experience I've ever had. Between the rude customer service and the severe roach infestation, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
