I went to the Fall River Taphouse last Friday with my brother and husband and I just have to say Brent is amazing! Best service ever. He was able to help a full house all by himself. He was always one step ahead. Great beer and we got some awesome merch! We will be back next time we're in Redding! Also Tiffany came in at the end of our trip there and she was awesome too. Great service and great conversations.

What I got and how I rated them. My husband enjoys lagers and so he liked Day Off

You don't have to like beer to like this beer. So...wow. I've recently learned that I like IPAs over lagers. I guess it is congruent with liking bold red wines versus the lighter reds. But if you really want something different and refreshing go in for their sour beers like the Sherbet IPA! It sold out while we were there! They are coming out with a tropical IPA next week so they say. I'm sure it will be good! You gotta do a flight to figure what you like. The flight was $12 for an equivalent what we assumed was 2 pints. The other great thing is you can bring food in. We ordered from the Hawaiian restaurant next door. Yummm. Go to my review about Niu Hawaiian BBQ to learn more. The patrons were local and seemed very familiar with the place. Broad age range. A great playlist from the mid 80s rock genre. Did they know me? While we were greeted and treated very well, the waiter did not help me understand the varieties of beers on the board. I am still a neophyte and so I struggled. Then when he bright the beer he assumed that I knew what an IBU was as he put it in that order. Thank God for smart phones and the internet. It is the bitterness factor. For me, the more bitter the better. With the exception of that amazing Sherbet sour IPA!!

Small taproom with a good rotation on tap. A couple tables and bar seating available. TVs at the bar playing sports. Pretty impressed with all their hazy IPAS.

Great beer, friendly service, casual and relaxed ambiance. A place where the customers know the staff by name, you can tell many are regulars. The place is clean and the AC blows cold. This would be a great place to grab a drink especially on hot summer days. I really enjoyed the blood knot but the electro drip is a must try!

Really fantastic. We went to three different breweries on our weekend in the Redding/Red Bluff area and this was hands down the best brewery experience we had. Service was attentive and friendly, beers were on point, and I loved the amount of outdoor seating they have. The space is equipped with hanging lights, a covered area, and fans (because you know how sweltering this town gets). We ordered a flight that comes with 5 beers at the bar, and our server was kind enough to walk the whole thing out for us to whichever table we wanted outside! I've never seen that before. Usually once you're poured, you take the flight yourself and are left to your own devices. What service! Parking is plentiful since it's in a strip mall around various other businesses. Can't recommend this spot enough! Take some beer to-go!

a flight of beer and snacks

Great servers and atmosphere. No food but okay to bring your own food. Was sad no porters or stouts were available. Had a flight and was not disappointed

How the hell have I never reviewed this place? Fall River make the BEST beer in the North State, hands down. Honestly, they make world class beer--and the fact that they're based out of the Redding area is so cool, and shocking. When my parents first moved to Redding, I was all about Wildcard (RIP). The taproom was in a cool spot, very close to my parents' house, never too busy, had great Modern Times-influenced merchandise, and pretty good beer. But once I visited Fall River, it was all over. Even before Wildcard expanded to the Bay Area and destroyed itself (very sad, honestly), Fall River became my go-to in the area. And don't get it twisted: for a town of about 100K people, Redding has A LOT of good beer. I hope none of the breweries are owned by Bethel people. (Have I mentioned before how much I hate Bethel? How I think they're colonizers and gentrifiers and, as importantly, that their doctrine is hateful, homophobic and dangerous? Remember when they tried to use prayer to resurrect that little girl who died, torturing her grieving family for a self-indulgent, delusional circle jerk? Remember how they're taking over the city politically and exerting their influence in every aspect of life in Redding? Remember how they visited Trump at the White House? FUCK BETHEL. Y'all aren't Christian; you're evil.) Anyway. Apologies for that digression. I've always been impressed by Fall River's stouts and seasonal offerings--their Irish Coffee Stout is a thing of beauty--but everything they brew, even the stuff I don't much care for, is really solid, which is how I rank a brewery. And a couple years ago, they began brewing NE IPAs. Ooooh, man. Lazy Hazy is one of the best Hazy IPAs I have had--and I have had a lot, because I buy into that trend real hard. Numb Numb Juice is super delicious, too. People love this place. A true taproom as opposed to the restaurant/brewery model you see more often in this area, it's always been packed when I've visited--hopefully, with the pandemic, they're making sure people stay pretty far apart--and that's very telling re: the quality of Fall River's offerings. Also, the people are super nice, super helpful. Keep doing what you do, Fall River. Keep brewing those delicious, diverse beers. I hope to see you again someday, when it's safe to travel again. If that ever happens.

Stopped by while we waiting for time to pass before we checked in. Great little spot with optional outdoor seating. Unfortunately, it was crazy hot so we didn't get to sit outside. The beers are priced well, especially the to-go beers. Lazy Hazy was great, Nitro was the best here. Nothing too fancy, great taproom with good beer.

So what I did the next game I told myself I'm definitely stopping there. Once inside it's super nice and very spacious. They have a beautiful restroom it's all pink with a huge wall art you could tell they payed attention to detail. Even the bathroom ceilings have wall art on the ceilings. Don't forget to look up next time . The inside consist of pretty much 3 areas. There is one big room. It looks like it was more like a private room. There's a little section on the way to the bathroom that has this beautiful tree with lights when I looked close enough there was a little monkey hanging on one of the tree branch . Then they have the other area once you first come in that it's near the bar overlooking the outside with the big windows . Last but not least you cannot forget about the massive patio with its own huge bar with a massive TV in the middle. It's just a very great space. The food was really delicious. Their menu is pretty massive. I was trying to decide what to pick.. I went with a Rancher burger cooked to my liking which was so perfect for me . I upgraded to the black truffle fries . For drinks my favorite was the lavender one so refreshing. They have a nice Happy Hour every single day pretty sweet right ? The service was excellent from the beginning to end . I could tell this is the locals hang out spot and I see why . The prices were very reasonable specially with the generous portions . Can't wait to go back when in the area .

Not sure if it was on "off" day for the chef but the Shepherds pie had zero flavor as if no spices or salt was used. The celery and carrots were undercooked and crunchy. There was hardly any meat and veg compared to the amount of potatoes on top. Potatoes also had no flavor of salt or butter. So bland and blech! Aside from the taste of the terrible food, the prices were way too high for the amount of food..$26 for a very small shepherds pie. There is no wait staff. You place your order at the counter. Once we ordered and paid for two shepherds pies (with the tip upfront) we found a table and sat down. The cashier then came to tell us there was only one shepherds pie left (on a Saturday at 5:30 in the evening?) and we could order something else and since we had already paid, he would give us another drink or something to offset the difference. We then ordered The Rancher. This also had hardly any filling with a puff pastry on top. Again, way overpriced at $24. We didn't get another drink to make up for the price difference. On top of all this, the Saturday evening "entertainment" was a group of senior citizens singing songs from the 50's and 60's very LOUDLY. It was a strange choice for a weekend night at a bar. No offense to the singers but wow, it was awkward as you feel as if you have to give a bit of applause since they are literally right next to the table. We left after eating a small amount and went to find dinner somewhere else.
