I went there for a friend's birthday party. They had a little area for us on the main floor near…read moreone of the bars. They have over 30 beers on tap, 8 signature cocktails and 3 mocktails. They also have giant tower drinks that I saw some people actually getting (definitely something to share with a group). I only had cocktails but I can tell you, they were all very sweet and candy themed. I felt a little sugar high at the end. I tried the pinball wizard, the Carrie fisher and the atomic blond. The last one was probably the best and I got it "spicy", which was a nice contrast with the sweetness. I don't drink beer and they only had one cider on tap. You can't buy food there but you can bring your own. We played some game la but it wasn't the most exciting. For the duckpin bowling, you couldn't enter your name or the number of player so you were just playing for playing. You couldn't keep track of your points. The arcade games had unlimited life so also not very exciting but they were free to play. The pinball machines looked great but you had to pay for those. We did play some Super Nintendo Mario kart and that was fun. When we arrived, there was a good mix of adults and kids but at 8pm it's 21 over only. The vibe changed pretty quickly and there were obnoxious intoxicated people around. We left shortly after but they are open until super late. It probably gets rowdier. My biggest disappointment was that the slides were closed! I doubt they were broken though. Maybe they don't open them when they have a big crowd?!

Went to an adult birthday party at this fun location on Pittsburgh's south side…read more There is a covered parking garage right across the street. It was a rainy night when we were there but there are outdoor areas. The place is filled with games and activities which can be played alone or with friends - classic pinball and video game machines, candlepin bowling lanes, bocce, ping pong, even a huge light brite! There are many tv screens and couches for lounging and watching sports. Numerous bars on both levels and you can open a single tab and order and close at any of the bars throughout. There is no food available, but it is allowed to bring or order in. Our party was originally set up upstairs which was a quieter spot but a schedule conflict with an earlier group had us move downstairs but the manager accommodated and assisted us and set us up with bowling lanes. Great place for a nostalgic fun time!

They also have tons of activities! There is a bowling ally connected to the restaurant, along with pool and darts. There is a ton of seating and they can accommodate large groups pretty well! There was a well balanced atmosphere of families and people just having a drink. The service was a bit confusing, I was unsure who was waiting tables vs bar tending. It seemed like whoever was free was sent out to take orders. That made a little complicated for reordering drinks and our food. We got fried pickles as an appetizer. The fried pickles were great! The breading stuck to them well and they weren't soaked in grease. The dill ranch was also homemade and it was good with the pickles. My girlfriend got the western burger and I got the Bronx Bomber. The waitress said the lowest temp they could cook the burger was medium. That is always a huge let down for me. Don't even ask if you can't do anything below a certain temperature. Other than that the burger had a good grilled flavor and the onion rings went well on top. My sandwich was lack luster. The name was appealing and I had high expectations. It was a mix between a Rachel and a Ruben. The bread was toasted but the meat was still kind of cold and the cheese wasn't melted. It didn't have that much meat on it either.

For years the service has been horrible and people have continued to visit for their mediocre food…read more Tonight for a bowling dinner we were asked to place our order 3 hours ahead of time. Waited 4 hours and 45 minutes for chicken tenders and fries. Honestly they should be embarrassed by not only their unorganized business practices but also by their help.
