This place is very close to me so I go for the easy access of filling my craving for gyros. However, I can't say it'd be my first choice and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here specifically. I really enjoyed the portion size, hummus, and the gyro meat. The chicken shawarma was also good, but not amazing enough to make this my go to place for chicken. The falafel was little dry and the pita was very mid. I do recommend the veggie combo platter because there is a great variety to get a taste of the different appetizers! I enjoyed the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves). Overall, I would recommend this place specifically for gyro meat and/or dolmades! If that's your choice at a Greek station then this place will satisfy the craving for sure!

Combination Meat Plate - beef/kifta/chicken kebabs, rice, salad, hummus, pita Solid lunch spot. Portions were big and everything was on the plate was tasty. Veggies were fresh, good texture in rice, pita was not dry, and the meat was seasoned well. Meat was a little dry though. I like the clean, spacious interior with plenty of tables. Employees were friendly.

I had the veggie combo platter. It was a lot of food but I didn't feel like I overate. It comes with a pita on the side. I want to come back and try the other food on the menu.

Perfect. No notes. The service was quick, the workers were so kind, and the food was so delicious and so generous! Can't recommend enough

This place is on point. My wife and I first time here and we are sorry we haven't come here sooner. Besides the food being outstanding, the service, the pride they taken what they do there makes you wanna come back. We split the Kofta and the grilled chicken kebab. Since we've been there, we've ordered it for more times and actually twice in one day because their baklava is outstanding!

Good new place to get fast and cheap Middle Eastern food. It didn't look like it would be anything special, but it was. Falafel Kebab Station is conveniently located by the Granville station, making it convenient. Lots of classics including falafel of course, but it has more. The plates are big and filling, so if you're hungry get these. After getting off at the station, we came here. It's almost literally located next to it. This is a newer place. Basically it's Middle Eastern. They of course have falafel, but you can find a lot more classic items. Big portions of food. It's about $12 for a plate. We got the Falafel Plate. It was enough for a couple people or more. This also had hummus, pita bread, rice, and salad. Be sure to come hungry. It has plates for those wanting a big ass meal. There's falafel, hummus, tabbouli, and plenty more that's good for vegans and vegetarians.

Good healthy food. Great fresh quality and super affordable. Made to order so it takes a few but worth the wait.

Gyro sandwich was very greasy and salty. Not enough vegetables and too much sauce. But it was a big portion.

The food is good but raising the price of falafel sandwich from $6.99 to $10.99 overnight was radical. I won't be coming back.

Every meal we've had here has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can truly taste the quality and tradition in every bite. The lamb shawarma is outstanding--perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma is just as delicious, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the true star of the menu is the lentil soup. It is hands down the best lentil soup I've ever had--rich, comforting, full of flavor, and worth coming back for on its own. It deserves to be the #1 item on the menu! What makes this place even more special is the amazing customer service. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional, making every visit feel like you're dining with family. A huge shoutout to Ali, who consistently goes above and beyond to make every customer feel appreciated. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are second to none. He takes the time to make sure everything is perfect, and his positive attitude truly elevates the entire dining experience. Whether you're stopping in for a quick lunch or picking up dinner, Taste of Lebanon never disappoints. The food is authentic, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend Taste of Lebanon to anyone in Chicago looking for some of the best Lebanese food in the city. Thank you, Ali and the entire team, for your outstanding hospitality. We'll definitely be back again and again!

I am familiar with the area but didn't know that this restaurant was located in this small strip mall. I pass this strip mall all the time when going to the Alamo Drafthouse for movies, but never thought about pulling into here due to the small parking lot and that it is always crowded. Walking into the restaurant, there is a kiosk where you can order your food. As it was late and I just wanted to eat and not make a lunch for tomorrow, I ordered a Spinach Pie and a Combination Meat Plate (Beef kabob, Kifta kabob, Chicken Kabob and Chicken shawarma. Served with Rice, Salad, Hummus and pita bread) so I could have leftovers to take to work the next day. I placed my order, paid for it and had to wait for about 15 minutes to get my food. While waiting, I was able to look around the restaurant to see it was clean and brightly lit. The table and floors were clean and there were a few customers dining inside. The staff was nice and friendly as well. I got my food home and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food in the combo dish. There was a good amount of meat and rice, enough for two people easily. The combo dish is $25 but well worth it. The meat was cooked nicely and had good flavor. As good as that combo dish was, that Spinach pie was on point! The flavor was great and the dough was nice and fluffy/tasty. The food was so good that I decided to put in an order on Grubhub the next night to get it for dinner for later in the week. I wanted to place an order on Grubhub to get free delivery as a Prime member, but the online menu did not have the Spinach pies listed, so I ended up having to call into the restaurant to place my order. When you call into the restaurant, they take your number and will send you a link to pay for your order and to send them your address and delivery instructions. I ordered the same items again, but got extra Spinach pies and a Greek Salad with chicken as well. The delivery guy was nice and brought my food up to me as instructed. The salad was fresh and there was plenty of Chicken Shawarma on top of it. I ended up having that for dinner as well as one of the Spinach pies and it was delish. The Chicken Shawarma was very nice and again, this was a decent size salad and was filling along with the pie. I definitely want to go back to try some of the other dishes that they have, like the wraps and the gyro plate and/or wrap. There is a lentil soup I would also like to try as well. I would definitely recommend Falafel & Grill for eats.

I've since visited the Niles location several times. The food has always been consistently excellent, but unfortunately the service has never matched the quality of the kitchen. Today's visit was by far the worst. It took over 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our order. Throughout the meal, I had to repeatedly flag her down whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, she seemed to disappear halfway through dinner--I'm assuming she clocked out--because we had to get another server's attention just to receive basic assistance. The food, however, was fantastic. I ordered the Al Bawadi Seafood Mixed Grill, and it absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. That's what makes this so frustrating. This restaurant serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in the area, but when you're paying premium prices, you expect service that matches the quality of the food. I still recommend the food without hesitation, but the consistently poor service at the Niles location is making it harder to justify returning.
