The waitress were extremely rude to one my friend who got there a bit earlier than the reserved time. Instead of asking her to wait at the bar if the table was not ready, they asked her to wait on the street. Then I came and we sat at the bar. We ordered happy hour drinks and appetizers but we were told we couldn't take it to our table. Then we were told happy hour was until 7pm and it was just past 6:30 but they wouldn't honor. They came with a stupid excuse that happy hour was only at the bar and not valid for a reserved table. I called BS. After we order food the waitress was checking on us every 10 mins so we could order more regular price drinks. The only thing i like was thar they sing you happy birthday, but most restaurants do that. They supposed to have live music but the guy only sang a few songs. $21 for enchiladas verde. It was take out. Pricey but I thought there would be enough food to save for another meal. Nope. The enchiladas (there were 3) were 3" long in a soup of I don't know what. It was supposed to come with refried beans and rice (1/4 cup of each). I specifically asked that there be no red onions because of allergy and so they made sure not to put them on the enchiladas but they were all over the tiny salad in the same carton as the rice and beans. I went for drinks a few years back for 5 de Mayo & sadly no seats so My party and I had to drink standing but thankfully the drinks were great and I had a nice time. This is a really small place. I would recommend making reservations because it gets really crowded. The food was better than I expected, and the drinks were really good. They have a really extensive menu. I'm giving them 3 stars because the service was not the best. We had to ask 3 different servers for water and it was finally brought out to us after 15 minutes. (They should really bring it out to you as soon as you sit down though considering they bring out chips with very spicy salsa!) We got half a pitcher of mango margarita (on the rocks) as well which was about four glasses. The flautas were really good and my boyfriend really enjoyed the burrito. Margaritas were also great! I visit this restaurant about 1 ago and the service was awesome. I decided to revisit for my grandma birthday. When I called to reserve a table I was told no because restaurants was crowd. When I arrived to location the place only had two tables occupied so it was busy. The hostess says the credit card machine is down so we need to pay cash. When we sit the waitress takes our drink order and forgets 2 order. I signal her for the ginger ale order which is behind the bar not a can( which was gross ) later we place our order and as the food came out my grandma's meal was missing She got Danny's carnitas. When I asked the waitress where is the order she spoke to the guy setting the food and accuse him of forgetting it in kitchen. Then turns to us and says food is coming out. 10 minutes later after everyone in table finish their plate my grandma food comes out. First off carnitas is pork and if it isn't cooked right it will give a stomach ache. My grandma said she can't eat it and it was raw and taste less. When we tell the waitress the food is raw and has no taste she takes to kitchen and comes back and says " the chef tasted it and said the food is fine" the way I wanted to slap her with the raw pork. When we received the check that the total was $221 with a $30 tip included I was lived. This place is horrible and I would not recommend it because clearly the staff is preoccupied in something other than serving. read more

Came here on a very rainy Friday night and almost believed my girls and I would be the only ones there and I was very wrong. Despite the fact that there was a flood warning the restaurant was pretty full. To begin we were seated immediately, and received tortilla chips and an homemade Mexican salsa. I've been to this place 2 times. Once was about 3 years ago I was 20. Me and a group of friends got some food and wanted to drink ( illegally of course ). I remember not loving my chicken quesadilla ( I'm vegetarian now) but loving the chips & salsa, and fajitas! Didn't go back there since because I frankly was embarrassed since my friends made this whole show trying to get some drinks. We had told the server we forgot our id's. My friend had been there before and drank without them asking so we all had our hopes up. I did'nt go back there since because of that. Fast forward to now, I popped in on a weekday night at 8:30 with my mom to grab a bite before heading home. I remember liking the place even though we couldn't get our drinks. This time I didn't drink ( oh the irony!) The decoration is super cute, very lively and colorful. Pretty empty only about 5 other tables. I do remember almost all were already eating or getting their food while we were looking at our menus. I'm vegetarian so I ordered a "Combo Vegetarian" and my mother a chicken Tostada. The chips and salsa were just as delicious as before and since I was hungry they were a good snack while we waited. The only con about that is that, we did have to pay if we wanted extra chips or extra salsa, which sucks for a salsa lover like me. I liked that the chips came in different colors, (i think they are homemade). Our food didn't take long to come which was awesome since we both were hungry. My moms chicken tostada look delicous and so did my "Veggie Combo" I asked the lady which one is what, and she pointed them out for me. When I looked at my Tostada it looked interesting, also presentation was nice! It didn't say anything on the menu about having any fake meat so that was my first red flag. Then I looked at my burrito and my enchilada and realized that they had given me the wrong order. I was beef! You would think the woman who showed me which item of food is which would of realized. This was my first time dining so I realized after I finished taking multiple pictures of the food. The presentation was very nice though.But small portion on the rice and beans, which was something that I don't remember being a problem when I went a few years back. Sucks when a place skimps on rice and beans!! I got extremely upset since I was hangry, and started to express myself to my mother. The bartender realized and told the waitress. She apologized and said she will make the veggie combo, I told her I rather take it to go. She blamed it on the cook, and tried to show me the receipt. I work in restaurants and it is very unprofessional to blame it on someone else, even though it may be/was their fault. Since I do work in restaurants my self I know how upsetting it is to a server when this happens and it wasn't your fault, but as a server you work on your service and try to wooh them on that ( if you care about your tip ). She asked if we would like some dessert, and I assumed it was complimentary for the mix up, which we also took to go, a flan. When I got the check, turns out it wasn't complimentary. The bill came out to about $35, which wasn't bad. I ended up not saying anything because it wasn't worth my time to argue over. But I probably will ONLY go to that place if its a last resort. Food is ok. It isn't worth the trouble! I could understand the mix up with my order if the place was busy but it was very slow the day. read more
