When I asked for additional tortillas, the server brought them out without mentioning any added cost, only for a $2.50 charge to show up on the final bill. The food is decent, but transparency in pricing and better server communication are definitely needed.

Sis ordered a sparkling rita peach flavor and the bartender hooked it up. She said it was really good. She told us her guacamole was fresh and good. The salsa had a nice spicy kick but not overwhelming and the chips were thin. Both good!! We ordered the BAMBA Fajita Quesdailla, house special, and taco trio-2 birria, 1 grilled fish. We all had rice and black beans. They do not have charro beans. I was a little disappointed about that. All the food we ordered was good and plentiful so we all had to go boxes. One thing I didn't like in particular was to go orders were placed on a table where someone was eating. I didn't think that was sanitary whether it was bagged or not. However we would dine again.

Our meals tasted fresh, but just lacked flavor. Quesadillas were light on the cheese, and the grilled steak and chicken in our meals lacked that "grill" flavor. Overall it was decent, nothing was horrible but nothing was super tasty either.

Every table had a lilly centerpiece with full place settings, it gave off a nice vibe. My wife had the fried fish and I had the jerk chicken. The fish was tender and fresh. My jerk chicken had a great flavor, just enough spice and the rice/beans were the perfect compliment. If we were locals, we'd be frequent visitors.

Maybe the service? Salsa is good. Queso was different. Perhaps a different palate than mine. Grayish colored guacamole just doesn't work for me. Not sure if the rice is made in house, or just Knorr/Lipton dry packed. A lot of slopped on onions and green peppers on everything. My rellenos was pretty good. In all fairness my review is based on Valentine's Day...which fell on a Monday...and basically half…read morethe town is closed on Mondays and these poor people were NOT prepared for the on slot. Staff was polite and did their best, but the place was packed and there were two of them and one additional lady that didn't speak much English...everyone was in the weeds. A couple of additional employees did eventually show up, that were clearly not supposed to be there and were probably bribed in order to do so. We went long stretches without seeing our server and had to ask for most of what we wanted/needed twice. Salsa is blended super smooth and on the runny side. It has decent flavor and a slight kick to it...chips were standard but not stale-like some places close by. Margarita mix is standard and nothing to write home about, little on the flat side and light on the tequila...but far from the worst I've ever had...so I'll give it a fair rating. Our food was hot, but some parts were a little over cooked and some parts were a little under seasoned. The brown sauce on California burrito was the highlight of it all. I'm guessing it's a pre-made attempt at a mole ::shrugs:: but it was really tasty, whatever it was trying to be. Positives: They tried and we would give them another chance They are not stingy with the sour cream Every employee was nice

The charcoal grill gives them a flavor that's completely different from typical baked oysters... smoky, buttery, and ridiculously good. If I could do it over again, I'd honestly just order multiple dozens of these and call it a day. Our next favorite was a special appetizer our waitress recommended: Jambalaya Fries loaded with andouille sausage, shrimp, and a beautiful cheese sauce/gravy. It was rich, savory, and one of those dishes where every bite gets better. We also tried the other baked oyster varieties: * Oysters Rockefeller (spinach, parmesan & provolone) * Oysters Royale (shrimp, tasso cream & provolone) * Oysters Kudzu (bacon & pimento cheese) Ranking them after the fire-grilled: Rockefeller, then Kudzu, and lastly Royale. They were all good, but the fire-grilled oysters were on another level entirely thanks to that charcoal flavor. If you go to Kudzu Seafood, do yourself a favor and get the fire-grilled oysters. Then maybe order another dozen... just to be safe.
