Multiple staff were always close by, checking on us, refilled drinks etc. The owner came out to talk to us and brought samples of their Mac & cheese (delicious) and the sweet potato crunch ( insane. Nice people, but disappointing BBQ…read more Take this review with a grain of salt: I am a bit of a BBQ snob. The menu lists "pulled pork", but what I got was not what any South Carolinian would consider pulled pork. I would describe the meat as having been minced (even finer than shredded). I did not notice much smoky flavor from having spent many hours in the smoker. The meat also could have been a bit warmer for my taste. The sauces were good, and I used them up because the meat could not stand on its own. The sides were okay. I had the coleslaw and baked beans. The Coke slaw was mostly bitter, rather than sweet or vinegary. There was no bite from the jalepenos. The baked beans had slices of apple and were good, but not amazing. I had high hopes but ultimately was disappointed.
