Fairfield Inn & Suites is great alternative if you prefer not to stay at the hotel attached to the casino. Great location and upgraded rooms. Check in was very quick and easy. The hotel did require masking and signage was posted at the time of our visit. We stayed on the third floor. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Our room also had a microwave and micro- fridge. It appears that a portion of the hotel is undergoing renovation however, it does not disrupt the flow for people traffic. The hotel also has accessible elevators and steps. Fairfield is in a great location and literally in front and across the street from Harrah's casino. Would highly recommend because of location and upgraded rooms. Hotel offers hot breakfast, free parking, cable tv, and wi-fi. The cost includes a tribal tax. We paid approx $35.00 dollars.

Stayed in room 309. Dirty room, thin sheets, tub does not drain properly, pubic hair in the "clean" hand towels and bath towels, AC doesn't work, etc. Poor representation of a Marriott property. Avoid if possible.

    Onions in the drawer

If I could give this place a zero I would. This stay was one of the worst I've ever experienced in ANY hotel in my life! We was given dirty room, LITERALLY !!! There was a bag of onions in the drawer, yes, you read right, A BAG OF ONIONS! The refrigerator was dirty, the pillows look like they had been used by someone with dirty hair. Crumbs on the dresser top. There was soap still in the shower, a stain that appeared to be blood on the wall beside the toilet, urine stains on the toilet and down the front of the toilet.... Just horrible!!! The sad part of it all is the way they ATTEMPTED to make it right. They upgraded our room immediately, which was great. But raised the price of our room then gave us a discount of half of that (our starting rate was $598.00 for two nights, when we got our bill it was over 800.00 after the "discount"). It took us going to the front desk six times before the manager decided to comp our room for the weekend. It's one thing to find simple things that may have been missed but this was ridiculous and should have been resolved by comping the room as soon as it was reported.

Generally I would give a hotel like this 3 stars, although this particular location has a few things going against it. There is only one garbage can in the entire room, and it's not in the bathroom, which makes no sense. You may be thinking to yourself, well maybe Jeff just happened to get one room with no can, but this isn't the case, I am here with an extremely large group taking up many rooms and no one has a garbage can in their bathroom. The second reason I am giving 2 stars is because upon entering the room the desk was sticky and there was garbage in the chair (odd since the garbage can is right next to the desk). The internet does have a free and paid option, the free stuff seems to work fine for Netflix, so i'm satisfied. There is a flatscreen TV in the room as well.

The service desk was very helpful, and as a newcomer, I received a $25 table coupon, which was a nice bonus. The food court had several fast food options--quick, convenient, and satisfying between games. Roulette is my go-to, and luckily, I had a good run and even won some money, which definitely made the trip more fun. Overall, it's a solid casino experience with good service and a comfortable atmosphere. It may not have the scale or energy of Las Vegas, but it's still a great spot for a fun getaway.

Called front desk who was not the least bit concerned about the security breach and offered to have someone meet us at our new room. No mention of moving our bags or how we were to get to our new room cause the elevators are all key activated. Took 90 minutes to get settled into our new room after a manager stepped in. Room was ok, fairly clean. The food choices for a real restaurant were limited. A kiosk driven ordering area does cover all the food court places and clearly works better than the check-in kiosks. Food was pretty good. Tomorrow will be contacting the hotel to get the $50 credit I was to have received for the check in fiasco. All in all a frustrating experience and I won't be back

You also get free breakfast, quiet rooms, and a seasonal pool. If I were really searching for any negatives, booking this place is somewhat of a gamble because they don't do refunds. That's based on my experiences anyway. But you will get incredible value! The only other negative is that you have to take the scenic route around the river one way or the other to get to the property. If it's late at night anf you're a female, you might want to walk with a friend or ask security to escort you. I have never heard of any problems like that in Cherokee. This is probably because the tribe wants people coming back. If you interfere, it ain't gonna be good! This is their land. I highly recommend you respect it. The clink on an Indian reservation is probably one of the last places you want to be. We went off the reservation on the review though, didn't we? My bad! This is an awesome place to stay. Not my #1 in the area but my top three due to convenience and the ability to walk to the hotel (I drink red wine sometimes). I will be staying here for one night very soon. Looking forward to it. And I will not tell you my #1 property in the area. I want to keep that secret to myself. But this place is pretty awesome!

The lobby was clean and orderly as was the hallway. The room was sweltering when we opened the door, but thankfully, the air conditioner was working perfectly and soon had the room cool and comfortable. The room itself was nothing spectacular, just a good basic comfortable room for the two of us to sleep in and relax after going on our daily adventures. If you're looking for a "resort" this is not the place for you, but if you're looking for a nice place to stay for yourself and your family I can recommend this highly. And it's right across the street from Harrah's which has an excellent Gordon Ramsey Food Court. If there was anything that I could recommend that the hotel could do, it would be to update their bathroom fixtures. They're a little dated.

It looks like one of those older motels where all rooms are ground level and you park right outside your door. The main office is very small with a window to talk to the clerk. We had made reservations over the phone and everything was in order. We got our key and parked right outside our room door. The room is a bit small but better described as cozy rather than cramped. Walking in you find the bed and a small sitting area with the bathroom at the rear of the room. Everything was in good working order and smelled fresh. This was everything we wanted in a room and nothing we did not need. It was also very quiet, and you could sit out in front of your room if you wanted to enjoy the cooler evening. We did not try the breakfast as we had planned to meet at a local restaurant, but the omelets certainly looked good. We absolutely would stay here again when in the area, and next time we will try their breakfast.

Based on the condition of the room and facility, I would not want to spend more than $50 per night. The room was so cringey that we couldnt sleep in the supplied linen. We slept in our clothes on top of a blanket that we brought with us (we left the blanket behind with the bad memories.)
