Like many clients, I came across Fairfax Brows and Ally through Instagram. I considered other cosmetic tattoo artists as there are several in the area; some who are cheaper, but who are not as skilled as Fairfax Brows (just compare the photos). Booking was quick and simple through the website. I scheduled an appointment for microblading - a month away because all other days were booked (a good sign). The studio is located in Mosby Tower - easy to locate with ample parking. I went into the studio and was instantly greeted by Ally and wowed by how visually pleasing and CLEAN the studio is. Ally recommended ombre powder brows vs microblading for my brow type and I'm so pleased she did. She took great care and time in mapping my brows. I trusted her 100% in selecting the pigment color. When it came to the actual procedure, Ally had a light hand (I have a few tattoos and can tell you some artists feel heavy handed). She was very clear on expectations (brows will appear dark at first, but then lighten for a more natural look) and after care. I was so pleased with the results that I also got permanent eyeliner done at my touch-up appointment. At least 2 of my co-workers have gone to Fairfax Brows since then! I'm now considering having my lips blushed! Highly recommend both Ally and Estee at Fairfax Brows! read more

I had ombre done with Estee. She did such an amazing job! She really took her time and provided me with detailed explanations throughout the procedure. Both Estee and Ally are very professional and very friendly. The studio is kept very clean, tidy, they disinfect the area and follow the covid protocols. Highly recommended! 5 stars!! Thank you Ally & Estee xoxo read more

I spent years researching microblading and the best place to get it done and thankfully found Ally at Fairfax brows. She is attentive, professional, kind, and welcoming. Truly the best at her craft and prices are reasonable too. Having my eyebrows microbladed by Ally was the best decision I could have made, no joke. I get compliments all the time on them and can't recommend this place or her enough. read more

I had a really amazing experience with Fairfax Brows. To begin, the studio is absolutely lovely and chic, and I was greeted immediately on arrival and felt very welcome and comfortable. The studio is immaculate! The brow process was well explained, and Estee was meticulous! My brows have been asymmetrical for years (bad 90s over waxing/plucking), and I had been self conscious about it for a long time....but now they look amazing!! It changed my entire look! Estee is truly an artist- the color and shape are perfect! They healed well, and I couldn't be happier :) read more

When I was searching for a place to get my eyebrows done, I came across this place and was blown away by all the great reviews about Ally. I should have suspected something when I saw all the reviews start with the name "Ally" and points out how nice she is. This by itself should have raised a red flag for me. I drove all the way from Maryland to get to this place, she has sent me numerous texts and emails saying not to be late or early so I made every effort to be on-time. When I asked her a couple of questions, her response would be like I told you, do not ask again. Very rude. I walked in and she came and opened the door, I was very happy and smiling, after all, I was getting my eyebrows done by a very nice and professional artist. That feeling didn't last long. She rudely asked me to put on shoe covers and go wash my hands, no smile, no welcome, nothing. I did what she asked me and then sat on one of the many empty chairs in the waiting area. She rushed to me and said get up! Sit at the other chair, you shouldn't be sitting at chair #1, sit on the #2. Whoa, what an attitude. All the chairs were empty, no one else was there that day!! She then told me that I don't look good at all at this age and that she can help me look better but can't promise anything! My jaw dropped. She was being rude and was making rude comments one after another. I got my eyebrows done and they are very uneven, when I called her she was like well, compared to what you look like before, she made me look better and that I should stop texting her and make another appointment to go get them touched up. NO WAY I am going back to that place and be treated like that. My friend also told me that her result only lasted 6 months so go figure. STAY AWAY, she is not nice, in fact, she is very rude. read more

Ok you can stop looking... Ally at Fairfax Brows is the best!! I can't recommend this place enough. I naturally have barely-there eyebrows which was super cool in the early 2000s but now I want eyebrows you can see. Ally's place is super cute and cozy and she makes you so comfortable throughout the process. She is meticulous with the stencil and application. It's my face, so I want someone hyper detail oriented. I get so many compliments and I love having eyebrows even after I take makeup off. Come here, you won't be disappointed! read more

WOW is what everyone who sees Ally's work says about my eyeliner job. I wanted a nice and natural eyeline and she did such a beautiful job. She pays attention to detail and even the music was awesome during the procedure. I have to mention that the place is neatly clean and sanitized. Only one person is allowed in the whole place while the procedure is done. She also had me wear disposable shoe covers. read more

My skepticism about microblading as a whole was squashed 100% because of the professionalism and outstanding outcome delivered by Fairfax Brows. I was very impressed by the thorough communication from making an appointment, receiving appointment reminders, discussion during sessions, and after-care instructions post procedure. In addition, their workspace was super clean! Really appreciated the fact that they took our safety as a high priority especially during the COVID19 Pandemic. From being required to wear shoe covering, washing my hands, and having my temperature checked PRIOR to the procedure, what else can one ask for? I recommend Ally to anyone who wants to enjoy good-looking brows without the hassle of drawing them all the time! I LOVE MY EYE BROWS and will continue to praise Ally for a job well done! Thanks Ally!!! read more

Fairfax brows - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

I am so glad after a ton of research that I went to Ally for my brows. I developed alopecia over the last year and completely lost my brows. I did so much research and had consultations at a few other places, but no one was as thorough or knowledgeable about my condition and what would work best for my skin as Ally. She is so meticulous in mapping the brows and color matching and is so kind and helpful. They look so natural. She really wants you to look and feel your best about your brows. Losing hair is a very emotional experience and I can't emphasize enough how happy I am to have done my research and decided to go to Fairfax Brows. read more

In love with my new brows~ How I came about hearing this place is through a friend's instagram. So I went onto their Instagram and saw clients' photos and I was definitely persuaded in getting mine done. I booked an appointment with Ally and had mine done today. The weather was really bad - it was pouring rain but that didn't stop me from driving to get my brows done. I drove for 2hrs back and forth from MD and I was exhausted. I chose microshading because my brows are very light and the procedure itself wasn't too painful and I definitely slept a bit during the procedure. The atmosphere was very calming and relaxing because of the piano music that was played in the background, the blanket she gives you to coverup, and the lighting/furniture was very inviting. Even Ally (the person who did my brows) was very friendly, nice, and knowledgeable which made my first experience a good one. I definitely recommend going here to get your brows done! read more

I had brows microblading, lip blushing & ombre brows touchup by Ally. Ally is competent, meticulous, skillful, conscientious, a true professional who takes pride in her work. She took time to sketch the draft of my brows, measuring & remeasuring from all different angles, and asked me if I approved it before using the machine. Her work is of high quality, leaving no scars and tidy. Whenever I sent her emails and texts, she always responded as soon as she could. Her office is spotless and beautiful with the highest standard cleanliness. Lip blushing she did on my lips are so natural and amazing. I've been wanting to get my brows retouched and I was looking long and hard to find a place that would have a style that I would like. After all, your eyebrows can really change the way you look dramatically. Not to mention having to find a place that would make me feel safe during this pandemic was a big factor in finding the right place. I'm so glad my sister told me about Ally. I loooove my eyebrows and get compliments all the time. She is so sweetie and really listened to What I wanted. She really listened to me and made sure I was happy with the outline before she does anything. Don't be afraid to let her know exactly how you want your brows to look, she can make it happen. She's also very gentle with her hands. I have a pretty high pain tolerance so I literally almost fell asleep when she was working on my brows...I know. She also has necessary preventative COVID guidelines before entering her studio. You must wear a face mask, and wash your hands when entering. She opens all her equipment in front of you so you know that everything is sterile. You can go and look her up on IG @fairfaxbrows. Once you see pictures of her work you'll see what I'm talking about. read more

I came in very anxious, since Ally was going to correct a powder job done 6 weeks ago by someone else working out of Finister's Tattoo in Falls Church. Ally then remapped my brows, and re-powdered and saline-treated the left arch and right tail. Although I have redness in these areas, I can see the shape of the brows are overall much better. The original work had my left eye lower arch flatter, and the eyebrow overall lower!!! than the right. The right tail was too high, not even in my hairline. The previous "artist's" solution was to flatten the right arch...and she even said they looked like how I would fill them with makeup, when I sent her before and after her work pics. Seriously, she was blind to her own screwup. Anyway, Ally and her assistant (?) for that was there were fantastic, and despite how my brows now look with the saline-treated reddened areas, I'm so excited to see the results. Hooefully the saline treatments pull up the old botched areas to fully show off her beautiful work. Although, realistically, I may need more saline treatments, I still can't wait to see the new results in a few days. read more

My friend recommended Ally to me. After I saw what magic she did to my friends eyebrows, I had to too! I also liked how her prices werent super expensive, but reasonable! I live in Rockville, so driving to Chantilly.. lets just say it was worth the long drive! Sometimes you have to find that person! She welcomed me with a smile and told me the process, how it works, what she is going to do. Everytime she did something to me, she told me what she was going to do so I wouldn't be surprised. Shes super friendly and answered the questions I had for her. I got microblading + shading .. I wasn't sure how thick or thin I wanted it to be so I told her to use her professional opinion and draw what she thought would look good for me. After she measured my brows, she let me look at it to see if I liked it. She made her suggestion which is a thicker brows for me, but when I looked it it, I didn't feel comfortable being ballsy enough to trust that itll shrink a bit so I told her if I could have it thinner meaning she had to re-measure my brows. She didnt sound/look annoyed, she happily did it for me. Finally we got started.. later she showed me different shades. Asked me to pick which one I like which was nice. Overall experience, super pleased with my brows! Its been since April when I got it done :) Thanks Ally! Highly rec! read more

I've had my eyebrows tattooed and micro bladed elsewhere a few years back and I was never happy with my results as I spent long periods of time in the morning drawing my eyebrows in to make them look better... as I was scrolling on Instagram one day I stumbled on Fairfax Brows page and I was stunned by her clients before and after photos. She had fixed many others old tattooed eyebrows and I was blown away so I decided I would give her a try and I'm so happy that I did! At my initial appt I was in awe over her office space it's so cute and calm, she sat down with me while the numbing cream kicked in and we talked about the expectations/aftercare. She scaled my face and drew on my brows to show me what the outcome would be and once I approved she got to work. I was so comfortable I fell asleep on the table. I woke up and was amazed and couldn't wait till my touch up! Im now leaving my touch up and even more excited and confident about myself! My makeup time is cut in half due to having perfect eyebrows and I'm just so happy. Perfect eyebrows can change your whole face and I'm so happy! I would definitely recommend Mrs. Ally. You won't be disappointed! read more

Ally was amazing! Did a lot of research for micro blading in the DMV area, and was very impressed when I saw her work on her Instagram. I found Fairfaxbrows thru Instagram and I couldn't be happier with my results! Ally walked me step by step through the process of the microblading/microshading and I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. My natural eyebrows were a bit tricky to map and even out because one is higher than the other but Ally was able to work her magic! The whole process took a little longer than expected, but the dedication and customer service Ally provided was beyond! Can't wait to go back for my touch up. read more

I got my brows done by Ally and it was the most wonderful experience! I had very asymmetrical brows and Ally made them completely symmetrical. I went from having to fill in my brows for ten minutes to about 30 seconds now (which I don't need to I just like wearing makeup). They are beautiful and save me so much time now. Ally is very talented, informative, and kind. The environment is also very clean and welcoming. So glad I chose this place and will be a returning client for life! read more
