Dishon service. They changed the description on the quote for the work I signed off for and they didn't do the work and than quoted me $9000 to replace the entire engine!! Are you kidding me. So you keep my vehicle for over 24 hours and no response. I had to call constantly to get a response in which I only got after the signed contract was changed in their favor cause they didn't want to be an honest service and fix my car with but instead just say no and replace the entire engine. It's not a Porsche!! So I just pick it up. Nothing was done. I paid them over 600$ for a diagnosis which only would cost maybe $150 at a VW dealership and cheaper at an exhaust shop. I got quotes over the phone from both places and with the work I actually requested to do and was under the amount I was charged. When you change a signed contract in Colorado that's illegal. What dishonest work this place does. Only They only want whats best for their pocket. I asked for a maintenance to be done not a complete engine rehaul. Way to con your clients. now explaining what you did. I don't think so. As stated in Colorado Motor Vehicle Repair Act (MVRA) and potentially the Colorado Consumer Protection Act. Got a recommendation for repairs to our Audi Q5 from a trusted car repair shop we use for our other cars. After getting a $10,000 estimate to perform the necessary maintenance we were thinking we might have to replace the car. We decided to get a second estimate and saw that Fahrenheit Motors got very good reviews. They got the car in the next day and discovered the same set of issues as the other Audi shop but wanted less than half the cost. We set everything up, had Fahrenheit order the parts and they completed the repairs quickly after the parts came in. Dustin, Weston and crew were very professional and friendly. We are very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them. We are so pleased that we can extend the life of our Q5, we love the car and were not looking forward to replacing it. We have taken our BMW X4, Porsche 911 and VW Passat to them for maintenance and repairs over the past years. The repairs were done on time and correct, they don't try and sell you things you don't need. The whole group of people there have been honest and upfront on prices and repair times. Owning cars, (German) is not the cheapest, but their prices are easily half what the dealerships would charge and quality isn't cheap or free. You have to remember that they are paying for the storefront, insurance, salaries' and the cost and upkeep of tools and scanners. Their prices and more than fair and worth it. read more

I've been taking my car here for a little over a year now and I don't know where to start. I had a coolant issue about a year back and they said it was the thermometer which they quoted me 900 dollars for. On top of that it didn't even fix the problem and it was actually a leaking radiator that was the issue which they quoted me another 1000 dollars to fix. Obviously I took it home and did the job myself but wait the water pump was also toast so while I was at it I replaced that, the serpentine and camshaft belt. At this point I'm not blaming this company for having high prices but I am blaming them for not correctly identifying the actual problem. Now around a year later my car broke down and I took it in. They said it was the camshaft position sensor which would be 1000 dollars to fix and they said while they were at it they'd also replace the water pump and the belt's because they were due (a mechanic who knows what they're doing would've already seen that they were replaced) and on top of that they charged me 200 dollars just for that diagnosis. So I asked them about the 200 dollars and they said they did all of this poking around just to figure that out. Come to find out when I was working on the issue myself, the camshaft position sensor hasn't been touched or even unplugged (which is something you have to do to confirm that there actually is a faulty camshaft position sensor), so they basically charged me 200 dollars for something that an OBD2 scanner can do in seconds. I am not pleased with their services. Yes they technically have VW and Audi certifications but they will scam you, they will take advantage of you and they will charge around 1000 dollars for any job that's not an oil change. If you're someone who actually cares about your finances I would say sell your European car because they're not worth the hassle or at least learn how to fix cars yourself because these guys will drain your funds and will probably not even fix or identify the issue properly. read more

Highly recommended local repair shop servicing VW's and other German autos! Dustin (the owner) diagnosed my catalytic converter was pretty much shot on my VW GTI VR6. I had already had the codes checked and suspected as much, but his second opinion reassured me it needed replacing, only after he did some additional troubleshooting to make sure that was what had set my check engine light on. Dustin cut me a great deal even after needing some extra parts and taking a little longer than he had estimated. I threw a lot at him including an oil change and new spark plugs too. Fahrenheit is a small new shop but Dustin is very experienced and explained everything very well. He even stayed past closing time on a Friday to get my car finished up so I could have it back in time for the weekend. Thanks Dustin! My baby is sounding great again, I will definitely return for any other service I may need. It's so nice to have a reliable shop close-by. I will never take my car back to a VW dealer again, they almost always tried to sell me additional work that was not necessary and charged me too much too! Fahrenheit has done multiple oil changes and miscellaneous maintenance during the past couple of years on our VW Touareg and Audi Q5, and Dustin NEVER disappoints. I took my 2008 VW Rabbit here. It wouldn't start and I had no idea what the issue could be, but Dustin and his crew got it diagnosed and fixed in just two short days. I started going to Fahrenheit motors earlier this year to get my wife's VW serviced, after her alternator broke. Dustin, the owner was extremely flexible and had her car ready for pick up the next day. Dustin also gave me a quote on some maintenance that needed to be done. So I called the dealer and Fahrenheit's price quote was half the price of the dealers. I also called another local VW and Audi shop and the prices were still better than that shop I called.
