Great, fast, fun energy, coffee is quite wonderful. For strangers, the familiarity the staff have with regulars can be off-putting, since it's not extended to others. Makes it feel a little fake when the courtesy and good humour is reserved for the in crowd. read more

If you want a little artistry and craftsmanship in your cup of java, this is the place to be. Beans are Roasted and brewed according to their origin so to bring out the unique aroma and flavour in tailored way. This means at this place, an espresso made with Costa Rica terrazu becomes a discernibly different beverage than one brewed with Ethiopian yirgacheff, even for Starbucks-polluted palates. There is a reason I go out of my way to get my java fix at this place even though I live in Mississauga and work near bay/bloor. For $4 taste of heaven, you should too. read more

I hardly dislike any cafe. This one is too small too noisy and too many things to complain about. Went here for a coffee. Shocked by how small it was. I couldn't take out because I ordered a macchiato. It was too small to pour into an actual cup. I hate the taste. Maybe I ordered so wrong. I had to stand there to finish my coffee because there wasn't any seats. People were chatting and they stayed there like forever. I felt so embarrassed and there came in a group of people. I've been coming here for a few months after arriving in TO from Sydney. I have noticed quite a few Aussies in here which is a sign the coffee is good. Quality staff seem to know all the customers by name and coffee is always outstanding. They make a real effort and it shows. If you come early in the morning it smells of fresh baked goods which is worth coming for alone. read more

Though not much space to socialize/work, the coffee and atmosphere are both amazing. Each barista has a sort of happy energy they bring out whenever they speak to a customer, which is something we customers really appreciate, especially on terrible mornings :). They love endorsing their Pilot coffee, and I must say, they make the best Pilot coffee in the city. Their cappuccinos and lattes (my typical drinks) always bring a smile to my face, as they have the right consistency of espresso and milk. read more

We really enjoyed our recent trip to Fahrenheit. We had never met such friendly and passionate barristas. We were surprised to find that they had no brewed coffee, only espresso, so 2 of us got iced americanos and one got an iced latte. They accidentally made an extra hot americano and gave it to us for free (thanks!!!). The espresso was delicious....I don't think I would get an americano again (I'd rather have brewed coffee OR a latte...not the americano in between). But it was a wonderful little place with knowledgeable and kind employees. read more

Another great experience at Fahrenheit ! Once again I asked for a decaf soy latte, and Brad, the very personable young man who took my order, offered that I try it with almond milk instead - even going so far as to say that if I didn't like the almond, he'd replace my latte immediately. Who could refuse ? Of course it was terrific: creamy, with layers of flavour, prepared to just the right temperature. My passport partner enjoyed it so much he is now an almond milk convert. And once again, even though the cafe was bustling, we were made to feel like we were the only ones there. That is an art in itself. Great experience all around. read more

I just moved to Toronto from the Bay Area, and miss Philz coffee dearly. I've been desperately searching for a Toronto replacement, and Fahrenheit, while a very different breed, is great in its own way. This is my favorite cafe in Toronto, as of yet (over Jimmy's etc).
