One of my favorite places for good capuccino or a flat white. Coming from Australia it is often hard to find a good flat in Canada. This place could put one of the Melbourne cafe's to shame really! Tip: Ask the owner/manager (forgot his name) to surprise you with his choice of coffee. read more

Wow, tried their latte made with Ethiopian coffee beans (they put descriptions for each coffee bean so that you know what to expect). You can taste this hint of strawberry! Wasn't bitter or sour at all (some people prefer these taste notes because they are due to fermentation of coffee beans). The staff here is amazing too. Super friendly and energetic. This "hidden gem" is totally worth a try. They also have a variety of baked goods in case you want to grab some snack or a light breakfast. read more

This... this is meant to be savoured. I had an americano and it was delicious. It has a bold taste which is to be expected but there was also a slight fruity flavour to it. This isn't coffee on the run that's Timmys. Think of having fine wine vs brown bag. The staff should be commended they are cheery and seem to actually like their jobs rather than just punching a clock. I'm not sure how many times the regulars have been there but the staff seem to know everyone by name, very cool. The only negative is it's size. The space is rather small but that seems to provide a nice atmosphere. Just don't expect to plant your bum in a chair all day with a laptop. read more

My fiancé and I love this place. It's our go-to coffee place. Best smoothest beans, especially the diablo which is a rotation of different beans depending on what's available. Always chocolatey and rich. Not much space so we always get our coffee to go. read more

I came here around noon on a Tuesday, purchased a coffee and a croissant. I can't remember the exact amount of my bill (around $6 to $7 with taxes, if I recall correctly). To be frank, I completely agree with the reviewer below who remarked that the owner was quite "preachy" and, in my experience and in addition to that, actually a bit condescending. My experience at Fahrenheit was, as a result, pretty awkward. I entered the shop after trekking over from work, hopeful for a good experience as a result of the reviews here. However, I wasn't sure what I wanted, contemplating whether to order a coffee or another drink, unsure of what baked good to order (a dessert after lunch, you know?), etc., as any customer of a coffee shop would do... at a coffee shop. I stood there for a couple of minutes, deciding, contemplating. The owner seemed impatient, waiting for me to finally figure out what I wanted. Instead, I let a couple behind me go ahead and order ahead of me, as I still wasn't sure what to get. As the couple ordered their coffee promptly, the owner exclaimed, "Now that isn't so hard, is it?" Which, of course, made it pretty awkward when I finally placed my order. The coffee was fine. The croissant was flat, but fine. At any shop, you certainly wouldn't mind a few minutes to figure out what to order to purchase. Great cortado! My husband is a coffee nerd so he told the staff "surprise me" and they made cortado. They know about coffee very well and very friendly. Their chocolatine was superb too. No wonder why, they have a nice convection oven! It's quite unusual to see that kind of oven in a cafe. I love this place. We'll go back there for sure! read more

I have been meaning to come here for a while and I'm so glad I finally made it! It's right across from Mystic Muffin and is a tiny cafe with amazing coffee. Unpretentious vibes, they were playing some old school R&B, I felt immediately at home! It's also one of those cafes where you can choose what bean you want your espresso to be made from. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I had a latte and it was beautifully made, perfect milk to espresso ratio with some pretty art on top! Fahrenheit has my favourite coffee in Toronto - a notch better than Sam James and as good as anything I've had in Montreal and maybe even NYC. Third wave shops are thinner on the ground here than in those two cities, making Fahrenheit even more of a gem. There is a choice of beans, the baked goods are great, and the staff glow with cheeriness and competence. read more

I've studied the art of coffee in other parts in Europe and this place is the real deal. They only offer certain beans according to the season, espresso that is medium roast - not the oily, burnt dark roast that Starbucks or McCafe calls "premium". Real authentic Baristas who know their beans and willingly give you an education on how to choose a good cup! read more

I come here as often as possible but I wish I could come more often. From a taste and technical aspect, this is the best coffee in Toronto bar none. This place is hidden away and that serves as a benefit in many ways because of how small it is, it's a coffee lovers coffee shop and a place where you can go talk shop with people who are downright obsessed with coffee. This works out great for me, but it might come off as "preachy" as other reviews have mentioned. If you just want to drink a cup of coffee and don't care so much about the details, there are probably better places to go, but I still highly recommend this place for having a coffee experience. The only reason why I am hesitant to give it 5/5 is due to the limited hours, small space, location and its lack of user friendliness in some aspects. For any coffee lover, the above should not serve as any deterrent. read more

LOVE this place! The staff is quite funny. The pastries from La Bamboche (and they baked them onsite at Fahrenheit daily!!) are more than great. The coffee is one of a kind. They are the first and only coffee shop that offers customers to choose the beans for espresso, which is really cool. I can pick the flavor depending on my mood. A bit of a disappointment I suppose. Nothing too unique about the location. They serve Pilot Coffee which isn't the greatest tbh. extremely tasty long black. the flavours sameer and crew pull out are fantastic, and the only comparable long black i've had in the GTA is from manual labour coffee. beyond the coffee, sameer is a patient, funny and thoughtful guy. it is a pleasure just to chat with him, to learn something new about coffee from him, and to laugh at his quirky humour (e.g. see his hair stylist recommendations). read more

This little coffee shop is a little hidden gem on Jarvis. Discovered it on my way to the St-Laurence Market. The baristas are very welcoming and helpful and make one hell of a good espresso and americano. They get their coffee from Toronto's own Pilot Coffee which second to Reunion Island, is one of my favourite roasters in the GTA. read more

Don't underestimate this place by the size. They pack on oodles of quality. The cortado was the best I've ever had and the ginger molasses cookie was to die for. Loved that they had a bench outside so we could hang out with our dog. read more
