i got into an accident in long island glen cove the police came and they told me that i have to go with their own tow truck company i told the officer why i can move the car myself to the side and get my own truck and he told me no and then he called this fagan towing company the accident was at 9pm i called in the morning to release the car and i asked how much they are gonna charge me they told me $950 plus tax was shocked this is ridiclous and he also said cash only no credit card and refused to give idomized charges and said when i go there i pay and get the recipet.please see the attached photo what kind of recipet is this ?? i also called the police they telling me thats how it works in naussu county read more

Called multiple times but he first tried to swindle us by telling us to get the receipt from the garage security who has no involvement with the towing company. Complete scammer. Last night I was helpless in Great Neck... in the rain... in a random parking lot unfamiliar to me. I called my insurance company who referred me to 6 different places to change my flat tire. Noone could help me and I was really terrified of being left alone in a random place with my car disabled. I called the Great Neck precinct and they gave me the number to Fagan's. My car completely shut down on the Long Island Expressway, during the start of rush hour, at about 4:30 pm on a Wednesday. I mean completely, no power, no steering, brakes, hazards, windows would not go down nothing. And my phone was dying. I was in a horrible spot, it was hot and I had my dog with me. I called AAA and they are not authorized to tow on the Long Island Expressway. While I was waiting to hear from someone who was authorized to tow me, Sean pulled up. I was really in a bind. He was beyond kind enough to tow me not only to where AAA could pick me up but said AAA could be hours, and towed me to a small shopping plaza where I was able to call AAA. Sean called it, AAA did not show up until Thursday morning. Sean is decent, honest and kind. I do not know what I would have done without him. If you are in need of a tow, call Sean. He is a really good man. Not sure about the multiple negative reviews, except they were a few years ago, and many appear to be during the pandemic. Everyone was stressed. I cannot imagine Sean doing anything but his best to help. Sometimes our best, on a bad day, is not as good as it could be. Cut people a break. Sean has a job that works with people at their most stressful, perhaps they were not at their best either, I know I wasn't and appreciated the kindness and help. read more

Wish I could give a 0 here. Extremely high price and horrible attitude. My car was towed by driver Sean. I understand that my parking time exceeded 2 hours. What I can not understand is that he charged me $325 for 0.4 mile tow distances. CASH ONLY. He must assume everyone carries that much cash anytime. When I was calling my friends for help, I found driver Sean was following and watching us !!! I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable as I was followed and watched by a stranger. But he might enjoy it I guess. Then I called him, he said he saw us not going to ATM for cash, so he would go home immediately. But wait, the service is open 24/7. Now he could change the business hours as he likes, right? He said bring $325 cash or come back tomorrow, then rudely hung up the phone. Upon arrival, older gentleman was very rude from the start Introduced my name first, and he completely ignored me. Cash only I understand. After the tow to the mechanic, he did not respect the request of the shop to simply just wait 1 minute to back my dead car into an open spot before driving away. Please don't dump the car and leave, basic respect to all parties. Tower received my cash, then proceeded to leave me holding the car in neutral. Just said, "you got this? I got other tows." Don't even bother calling them for snow removal. I called them a couple of years ago and they told me they didn't do snow removal but gave me the name of someone to call. I did use that person, but the price was through the roof the first year and then he raised it the second year. We had one little snow and it cost me $1500 since they work on a seasonal contract and you pay up front. I noticed this year that Fagan was advertising snow removal so I figured they must now be providing the service themselves. I called and asked if they were doing snow removal, the guy said yes, said he would swing by to look at the property to give me a price, and then guess what? I got a call from the guy he had sent me two for the past couple of years. Don't even bother calling him for snow. read more

Hahh, if I can give it 0 star, I will definitely do it. This is my first time to write so negative reviews. Very rude workers. Fees undisclosed. No paperwork set at all. My car was towed on the highways because of the insurance lapsed. Policeman called them for towing. They just took my car away seems like it is theirs! When I ask for the fees information and the boss there just told me leave them away because they are going to close and get home. lol. Yeah. They know I have to pay them no matter how much they ask for anyway because they have towed my car and I can't do anything because my car's plates have been taken away. We hired them for snow removal. They charged a ton of money and did a horrible job. Car still slipping on the driveway, and they did not clear the walkway at all, just threw some salt down. Maybe they were at the house for 10 minutes. $150 bucks, and it's still unsafe out there. read more

I was stuck late at night and they came out to get my car to my mechanic. He came in a nice newer model tow truck and told me from the sound of it the repair shouldn't be that bad (expensive). Wow guys, BE CAREFUL when you see Fagan's Towing in Great Neck!They will charge you whatever they like and treat you like you're a shit! The driver Sean towed away our car on 07/12 because we parked too long in front of Hmart. 1/2 mile for $350.88 cash(They don't take credit card, Hah!) Sean was following and watching us in his car when we were calling our friends for help and he kept saying"I waited for you for one hour, ur wasting my time. I'm gonna go home. u guys come tomorrow"-this is a 24/7 opened service. So you're pushing people to send you money by doing this way? When we finally met him, he would say"fine, I'll see u tomorrow" if we did not follow whatever he say. I was wondering why this horrible company exists in US!!
