It's very hard to come by a shop that actually can cut. All the barbers were really great. Yet TY was the one outside the door welcoming and decent price surprisingly excellent hair cutting g skills for kids. I have been a client of Erik's since before he opened up his Berkeley establishment and if there is one word I would use to describe his work is... CRAFTSMANSHIP! This man is an artist in the flesh and I never leave disappointed! The shop is in a great location with lots of free parking in the neighborhood! Alfredo not only listed to what I wanted but took it to the next 2nd or 3rd level. Previous: I was a walk-in and was was greeted warmly and was delighted to find that a chair was available and was taken right away. Shane helped me and did an awesome job! Shane listened to what I wanted and executed it very well. The atmosphere of the shop was very calm and friendly with clients coming in and greeting all of the barbers. I was referred to this barbershop a few months ago by a coworker. I bring my son in to see Ruben. Ruben is very detailed, he is clean and his work is really good! His cuts are so prestige! My son is mixed and I've had a lot of barbers mess up his hair in the past, but not Ruben. He takes his time, and his blending technique is really good! So far I've been pretty happy with every haircut and so has my son. Also some feed back my son gave me is that Ruben is pretty gentle and his tools don't nip him. The shop itself has a pretty chill vibe! They're always busy, but as soon as you walk in you're being greeted by the barbers.
