I came in for a full haircut today after a long time going uncut and unstyled, and I feel transformed. She took a look at the photos I wanted to refer to and was immediately confident and flattering--and she executed the perfect cut and style. We had a really lovely and fun conversation that made me feel welcomed and engaged, and I'm excited to come back again soon for future cuts. We talked briefly about the kinds of things she thought would look good for my hair specifically and what it would involve, and I think her eye for style and hair is impeccable. I'd already trust her with anything! I will definitely be coming back. For the shop: It's in the cutest little part of the neighborhood, feels safe and it was kind of quite on a Saturday afternoon with lots of trees and lots of parking. It is near the 57 and the Shellmound bus lines, and it's in walking distance of the Public Market/that area, which is perfect for me. The shop is spacious for having two chairs.
