Village Electric got us on their list, and were able to come out the same week - they were able to diagnose the problem with the oven, and saved us from having to get a new one! While Dave was working on the oven, Quinn fixed all the outlets that were not grounded or had reversed polarity throughout the house. They walked me through what they were doing, and were happy to answer all the questions I had, being a new homeowner. We'll be having them back soon to get us upgraded to 200 Amps - they are my go-to guys now!

We were nervous at the beginning because it was a very expensive job and we did not have any previous experience in this business. Stephen, the owner, came 3-4 times to meet with our trustees and explained all details, answered our multiple questions. The guys did a wonderful job. You can see the photos of the system they installed on their website. Kevin was the best. He was at the site every day. He is very friendly and very knowledgeable, loves what he does.. He still comes to check on the system periodically. The guys were so professional we did not even notice the transition from old to a new system. I would highly recommend this company. They are very responsible, the best workers you can trust.

This made communicating with them extremely difficult the entire time. The morning they were supposed to arrive at 9 am so I took the day off from work. They didn't show up until several hours later with no communication regarding that. The man who serviced our heater had never seen our type of system before. He tinkered with it for a couple hours and finally "fixed" it. A few days later we were without heat. We called them several times, leaving them a message, but they did not get back to us. We were about to hire someone else to come, but the next morning they finally said they would come take a look, free of charge. The man came back and ended up replacing a part. We got an invoice in the mail for that part despite the free of charge promise. Shortly after that our heater broke again so we ended up calling a different company. After their last visit and the previous invoice for the part, we received ANOTHER invoice in the mail for a much larger charge than the previous. We reached out to Chambers several times trying to figure out what that invoice was for, as their last visit was free of charge. To this day we have not heard back from them even after writing them a letter to remind them of what happened. They continue to send us delinquent payment invoices and will not respond to us when we reach out to them.

Lots of work! The guys at David Electric came & did me up. The cost was well under the price I had expected to pay. The employees were prompt, neat, polite and cleaned up after themselves (yay!). In the years since I've had them out for a few other lighting changes. My beautiful expensive dining room chandelier had some manufacturing issues. The hooks used to hold up the chandelier would break. Yeah always fun to look into the dining room and see the chandelier hanging by two out of three arms! But the boys at David Electric replaced all the bad hooks once I got replacements. Next big job is to replace some seriously old wiring. Got a great price on the job. Now I'm just saving up my pennies so I can afford it. No doubt as to who I am gonna call when I'm ready though!

They said all their technicians knew how to service my system. LIES! all of it one big fat lie! 3 different technicians, not a single one of them could figure it out. One kid who looked like he was 12 was here for 5 hours trying to figure out how to get the air out of my system once he flushed it. Had to call in another tech. I was quoted prices for things that I believed I needed, by them and had the work completed by them. I was told due to lots of water main breaks to put in a water filter, did that, $650 dollars later, the housing was empty, EMPTY!!!!! meaning no filter inside the housing, so all the time I thought I was protecting my system and my family, no, just no.... I clearly wasn't. I was flabbergasted when my current independent tech showed me the pictures, not only of the empty housing but all of the sludge and build up in my system.... which supposedly was flushed out by them in April, yes, just 6 months ago. Check out the pictures, you'll see. Find yourself a local guy who's familiar with your system. I am usually on a positive review person; I like to help small mom and pop shops build their businesses. If I don't like a product, I typically take it up with them directly and resolve it. Not today! I am so pissed off that I spent thousands of dollars for a job that was complete crap. Do yourself a favor and skip them altogether, there are way better people out there that can do the job. I am not in San Fran, I have no idea why yelp has me listed there. I'm in Tewksbury MA. I tried to edit it but it's not working.

I told him check with someone else because it doesn't sound right,so another company comes in and replaces the circuit board and another small part and it works great....for $350.No excuse for this type of bullshit. They know what they are doing,he is elderly and they were just trying to take advantage of the situation. The guy even charged him $160 for the 15 minutes he was there, and made it sound like he was getting a deal.I told him he got ripped off.So if you want to get it tucked up your arse call this company...the owner will probably reply saying no foul...yeah?? I call bullshit again. I am amending my review of this business. I didn't have all the information and my temper got to me thinking we were being taken advantage of, but after hearing from the owner of this company I was wrong. They actually did right by my father and made the appropriate recommendations. There are actually companies out there doing the right thing.
