I went to Koniver Aesthetics for AviClear laser treatments. I had been suffering from acne for over a decade and I was told this would "cure it", or I would get my money back. I was also informed that it would take up to a year to see the results. After a year my skin was still terrible. At this time I was told by Koniver Aesthetics that it could NOW possibly take a year and a half. Obviously this was upsetting, but I waited. Around 18 months after the procedures my skin seemed to be worse than ever. I was livid. I reached out to their team and I was simply told there was nothing that could be done. I wanted to get on social media and write bad reviews for the establishment everywhere I could possibly find. Though, I was so depressed I didn't even have the motivation to do that. So why am I speaking out now? Well, I was wrong when I initially thought my skin was worse than ever. I spent thousands of dollars and waited 2 years to see results. My skin never improved, in fact I am pretty sure in the last couple of weeks I have reached the pinnacle of disgust with the state of my skin. I am crying as I write this and I thought maybe after spending $3000 + at this business, there might be something they would be willing to do. Also, I happened to have an interview for a position at Koniver Wellness last month and I was told that the owner was a kind person. I thought that maybe that was a sign and reaching out can't hurt. All I can ask is if there might be SOMETHING they would want to do to remedy the situation. I sent them basically the same message as I have written above and they actually did respond asking if I wanted to come in .... almost a month ago. I said I would like to. I have not heard back since. My diet has not changed. My health is good. I get every acne product that aestheticians suggests and facials from other facilities all the time. I do EVERYTHING I can to take care of my skin. This successful business took over $3000 dollars from me and now has stopped responding to me.... Below is what I look like now. I would like my money back.

While Jasmine is very good at the waxing, she is INCREDIBLE at sugaring. I swear it barely hurt, the result was perfect, and I had basically no irritation or ingrowns after. In addition, Jasmine is super friendly and great at giving you warnings to breathe on the more sensitive areas. I am giving 4 stars because Jasmine set the bar very high and I feel like other waxers I have seen at the North Charleston location haven't quite lived up to her standard. They are going through some management and company changes right now, so scheduling can be a bit wonky (I got three separate calls to confirm my most recent appointment, in addition to a text, but when I arrived I was placed with a different specialist than I had booked with), but everyone there is very friendly and apparently they are going to be offering more med spa services at this location very soon. All in, I just purchased a Pink Pass (10 Brazillian Sugaring at $54/ea), so I will be going back to see Jasmine for a while!

However, the reason why I'm writing this is because I booked a haircut recently on May 22nd at 3:45. I got the text message saying to confirm my appointment like I always receive the day before a haircut. I confirm my haircut appointment message by clicking CONFIRM like I always have. I walk in 10 minutes early to get checked in, only to find out that my name was not on the schedule! And that someone else was booked at the same time I was supposed to get my haircut. The lady at the front desk couldn't provide any information on what went wrong and just said "Oh that's too bad, i'm sorry" "maybe we can get you next week around Thursday, the 29th". I then asked, "Can you see me today as a walk in?" She goes, "Sorry, everyone is booked today" (Acting like I didn't book the haircut on the day I'm supposed to get one). And then, I asked "Who would have canceled the appointment when I have the confirmation on my phone?" She goes, "Looks like someone called and canceled the appointment". To which I was automatically frustrated by that and said "Who called? Because it wasn't me!" Couldn't help me and was a lousy excuse to cancel my appointment without my approval. Disappointed in how downhill this Barrelli has gone. Definitely recommend passing on this Barrelli until they get a new front desk representative replacement or at least somebody that's a little more competent.
