Okay so this is my first negative review of anything ever. Not really the type to complain but…read moregeeze has this place been an expierence. ****DISCLAIMER*** The staff and customer service people are amazing! *chefs kiss*. They are honestly the reason I still go here after 6 months. All of the front desk people have gone above and beyond to help me with stuff and are so nice about all of the issues it's just out of their hands. So I won't list every single time I've had a bad expierence because it's slightly embarrassing that I still give them almost $100 a month. First thing I'll mention but not the first thing that happened. I went into their versa spray and it dropped down and missed my calves and shins and super sprayed my feet two days before a wedding. Then I started going to their other location (Anderson Mill)where I was told about the great infrared spa booth that I was stuck in for 30 mins where the super sweet employee tried to yell instructions thru the door as I laid there naked. Never tried a spa thing again even tho I pay for it. So I go back to this location where the booth is "fixed", this time it skips my face and blasts my arms and chest which was a super cute look for my UNCLES FUNERAL. At this point I call customer service which leads you to very nice helpful people that have no power to do anything but pass your info to the owners. Never heard from them this time. To be honest I don't even remember the multiple things that built up after that (I know I had a few more bad spray tans)that finally led to someone texting me and offering me a free spray tan. After I replied that I pay for unlimited spray tans I never heard back about how they were fixing this problem or anything else. Tonight I went in for a spray tan and took some photos (that I did show to the front desk employee even tho it's not like they have lazy employees it's years of not caring). It's pretty rough. For a service I have spent about $600 for at this point I just wanted to make sure no one does the same. For now I'm still going here, I'm hoping that maybe this post will cause someone on their end to do something because this place has a TON of potential. Great lay down beds for the most part. An amazing staff. But geeeeeze am I frustrated this is my main option here in Cedar Park. On the off chance this review actually has any impact I will update if things are fixed because once again I would love if this place didn't suck this bad.

I have arrived at this location FOUR times where the location has been closed early. Twice was 30 min before they closed. Twice I have spoken to management and they assured me it would not happen again and offered me a bed upgrade discount to my membership. Welp, it happened again just a couple weeks later. I then switched to the Whitestone location and asked if I could cancel my membership and the manager said sure I would then only have 30 days left to tan (until my next draft date). I come in two weeks later and they said my membership had been terminated and the manager was mistaken with nothing they could do unless I wanted to sign up again and pay sign up fee. I turned my head a number of times and gave the benefit of the doubt that it was just young lazy employees not wanting to stay til close but it apparently goes much higher than that. Tracie went above and beyond to ask me questions and direct me in pre-op, post op and even opening up her shop on a Sunday to ensure that I looked my best for my destination wedding, which was 6 days away. She was extra careful and mindful and even went as far to make sure she personally applied barrier to each one of my finger nails and toe nails and then took the time to blend in solution with a makeup brush. You can really tell she's passionate about her services and truly cares for the person. I was in awe of her follow up as well. She texted me to make sure everything was holding up and gave tips and instructions on how to make it last. I bought some foam spray for touch ups and it worked great. I'm truly impressed with Tracie and how much she cares about her business and customers. I will definitely be back! My husband kept telling me how I amazing I looked after the tanning was done. Let me start off by saying that Priscilla, the owner of Sun Mist Spray Tanning did do a great job on my spray tan and for sure she made me look like a Golden Goddess BUT her customer service skills definitely need a little work. Priscilla did NOT introduce herself to me and I'm guessing she assumed I knew her name because all the previous reviews mention her name & her tanning certificate was hanging on her wall that had her name on it..not sure why she didn't introduce herself but as a 1st time customer of hers it really wasn't the best 1st impression. It also would have been helpful to have been told by Priscilla when I called her to book my appointment that Sun Mist Spray Tanning is NOT a stand alone business but instead I'm going to her apartment that has a separate professional and very clean room setup for getting your spray tan done. I say this because her apartment building is located in the Domain area very close to many of the retail shops and restaurants so I walked up & down the sidewalk a few times trying to figure out where I was going & not sure if I was indeed going to an apartment building and then once I figured I am going to an apartment building how do I get into the apartment building, which is gated. FYI-you do need to call Priscilla to have her let you in. As a newbie to spray tanning (this was my 2nd spray tan) I would suggest to Priscilla to ask her clients if they want their face spray tanned before just going ahead & doing it w/out discussion 1st. Since I am new to getting spray tanned & I was nervous about the end result looking orange instead of golden and it would have made me feel much more comfortable about getting my face spray tanned if we had discussed her doing it beforehand. In the end I had makeup on so not sure the face spray tan took. I would also suggest to put on her website the prep instructions on what should be done to prep before getting a spray tan.
