The last time I reviewed this establishment was in 2021 where I have it 5 stars- and almost 4 years later, it remains a 5 star experience. I have tried over a dozen different facial places in and around Austin, and Face to Face remains my favorite. They are a med spa, meaning they offer medical grade procedures and also things like semaglutide and botox and filler, etc. I've found that their products are the best, and the process by which they perform facials is more comprehensive and effective than anywhere else I have gone. Being a member, I get a facial each month with either a microdermabrasion or chemical peel. My chemical peels are formulated custom for me each time I go in to target concerns, and they keep detailed notes on how your skin has evolved and the combinations they use which is so helpful. That brings me to the best part of this med spa- the estheticians! I've been working exclusively with Leslie for a year now, and she is one of the most knowledgeable estheticians I have ever had. Her experience, knowledge depth, care and concern for my skin goals is frankly amazing. She listens to me, tailors my facials to my skin exactly, and really only recommends products I truly need and she knows are effective (which most are, because they carry great brands there!). From the free beverage upon check in (wine included), to the shoulder/arm massage to extractions and products, everything is top notch and my monthly facia is my favorite day of the month! read more

Incredible experience always here. I've tried tons of spas in Austin and Face to Face truly cannot be beat. I've been a client here for 2.5 years now and have recommended this spot to all of my close friends. My initial focus area for the first year was tone and acne. After 6 months the compliments began rolling in! I noticed SUCH a difference in my skin and after another 6 months, I decided to move on from chemical peels to HydraFacials per the recommendation of my esthetician. I truly don't even recognize my skin sometimes - it's better than younger me could ever have imagined! The front of house staff is on it. I am warmly greeted every time and am well taken care of at checkout. I like to rotate estheticians just to try new folks and I truly have never been disappointed after over 30 visits. I bought a Groupon and I was able to honor it in the time frame, due to extenuating circumstances. I was communicative with the staff along the way. I called with concerns about services-since I had never had a peel- and spoke to spa director, Ana, she told me that it didn't matter when I booked that she wanted my first time having these services to be a good experience, & that the dollar amount would be applied. I thought that was pretty fantastic customer service, and felt at ease knowing I could apply whatever $ amount I had spent on on the groupon, I think like $70 or something, to the service of my choice. I was told it was notated on my account and not to worry. So I didn't. But later, when I tried to book, came in for a consult to clear things up. Now they are saying they "won't honor the Groupon", which is fine because I already understood that I was just told that the dollar amount would be applied to whatever service I wanted in the future. I showed receipts. But Alana was of no help. Instead, she just kept repeating the same thing not listening, which is fairly an ignorant way to be dismissive- plugging your ears, & repeating "I don't hear you!". It just felt dishonest, and slimey behavior. I wasn't trying to take advantage of anyone , & offering to match whatever was owed for services after. read more

Strangest facial experience of my life. The entire service seemed rushed. All movements were quick and the steps seemed to jump around. Mind you this was only a 40 minute facial, advertising 30 minutes of hydrafacial treatment. The hydra part came in chunks going quickly over my face and missing places then doing the same thing again and again. She never did actually do my nose except to do a couple "dots" once. The worst part though was the scalp "massage" done with latex gloves on and no sort of massage oil. The scalp "massage" lasted a solid 5 minutes plus. Even though it took so long, all motions were quick and rushed, like getting a vigorous shampoo...on dry hair...with latex gloves. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It hurt but was so bizarre. My hair was a rats nest by the end. 3 hours later my hair smells like latex and my scalp is tender. read more

I booked a first client medifacial here which included a peel. Upon entry I wasn't greeted by anyone until maybe 5 minutes later. The lady that did eventually check me in ended up being my aesthetician. She was kind and explained to me the process and recommended a peel for me as a first timer. Overall I'm not sure if I see a noticeable difference in my skin but the service was good. read more

Terrible experience at this spa. A few times I had to call and cancel a week or two before my appointment was scheduled and 3 times they never cancelled it even though I spoke to the man at the front desk and then threatened to charge me a no show fee. They also cancelled, at the last minute, my appointments because the esthetician didn't show up. I wasn't disappointed and accepted the situation and simply rescheduled. After such experiences, I had to cancel my subscription. I wrote to management and spoke to her, finally, but nothing was really done about the situation. Just someone to tell the story to. No apologies or encouragement to renew my subscription. It's just another corporate experience where you are just another number.
