Great service. We have been here before and returned for a mother-daughter self care Sunday. We made appointments in advance on the app, easy peezy. Waited only a short 5 minutes or so after checking in even though we were ten minutes early. My very sensitive skin loved the clean and natural facial. Starting with aromatherapy and a shoulder massage and relaxing into the facial cleansing and skin care is genius. I opted for the weighted blanket for a bit of extra relaxation and comfort. I am surprised every time that the beds are only separated by curtains and not walls. Admittedly, this has never been and issue and I feel safe, secure and privately attended to every time. It gives the space an open feel for the few minutes that my eyes are open to notice it. It's too easy to book and breeze through here, walking out with refreshed and moisturized skin. This "focused facial bar" experience was a pleasant surprise and exceeded my expectations. Having a family member in the beauty business and seeing her consistently for skincare and facials for quite a number of years, I was skeptical about trying new facial salons...after all no one was better than my "cousin Barbara!" I arrived a little early to acclimate myself, take some photos and get a sense of the Salon. I found Face Foundrie to be a relaxing environment even though it sits directly on Upper King Street! I was escorted to the facial bed area- not an enclosed room but it still worked- and was asked asked if I would like a blanket. As it was a cold day, I quickly said yes. By all means ....Get the blanket!!! You will be wrapped up, made real comfy and you will feel like you are in a cocoon....and will be an added plus to your facial treatment. I had the mini facial but it felt like a full fledged facial treatment with tons of massaging of the face, different product applications and numerous hot towels applied in order to help the products penetrate into your skin. A membership is available should you plan to become a regular. I left Face Foundrie "glowing" and can't wait to return. I was lucky enough to get a minifacial and massage with extraction. I loved every second of it. I will go over pros and cons but I LOVED this. Pros- So relaxing My face is glowing My lips are so moisturized Cons- Some music was not relaxing The massage was weak Something got in my eye and made it burn. I went here for a facial a few days before my wedding. Katy did my facial and it was wonderful. I asked for extractions and a peel, however, she did not recommend the peel since I had my wedding a few days later. Which I appreciated, so we did the enzyme mask instead. It was so relating that I almost fell asleep. My face was slightly red after (probably due to the extractions), but my skin was glowing by my wedding day! She gave me a great neck massage as well and a series of masks/cleanses. I really enjoyed it and will definitely see Katy again next time I am in Charleston. To note, face foundrie is a facial bar so there are just curtains between each bed. But it is super cute! read more

This was my second time here and it's a great spot! Parking is easy at the Hyatt garage right next door. The staff is always friendly and explains what they'll be doing ahead of time. The space is clean and chill. You are out in the open with curtains between stations but it's still feels private. This was my first facial and it was an 10000/10!!! To start, the place was extremely clean, aesthetic, well lit, and clearly luxurious. The receptionist offered me a cold glass of water before my appointment. Then, my specialist came out to greet me and offered to take my items in a basket, or hang up my purse! Calista, my specialist, had the most relaxing, soothing, kind voice. She was absolutely amazing. She began (and ended) the facial with a wonderful upper body massage. The bed was extremely comfortable, with foot rest options and a weighted blanket option. We talked briefly about my skin history, via the comments I left on my form prior to the appointment. It was a great day for a facial! I have never heard of this place before the yelp event email and I was pleasantly surprised! I go frequently to get spa facials but this was different. There were no changing rooms or robes. Go in comfortable clothes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I added on oil planing and extractions and I'm so happy I did to lengthen my time. They provided a comfortable table to lay on as well as a weighted blanket. It was a comfortable experience and my skin feels amazing!! I was provided chocolates upon leaving. Olivia was attentive and made sure I we comfortable. She asked me questions about my skin and walked me through each part of the process, explaining along the way. I will definitely go back. It's also nice that they're right next to the parking garage connected to the Hyatt House, which made the experience seamless for me as someone who hates trying to find parking in downtown Charleston. They offer enough staff to make it easy to get an appointment within the same week and the pricing is makes it an easy yes when you're thinking about a self care day. They use high quality products, offer weighted blankets, bolster support for the back of your legs and super comfortable beds. I'd love to see a bit more guidance for what's going on my face and a verbal "what's coming next" -- It would also be helpful to ask how the temperature of the towels are to the skin as each client is likely to be different and mine felt a bit too hot. I have now had two appointments at Face Foundrié. My first appointment I made with my friend because I had never had a facial before. We were both nervous because we were imagining a snooty, fancy facial place. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by two lovely ladies. We checked in and sat and waited for them to set up. It took less than a few minutes and then I walked over to a table and was offered a weighted blanket. I declined this time but that was a mistake. Jordan asked me if I wanted to relax or have her explain what shes doing and I said explain. However, I love that before beginning anything they ask because I definitely understand wanting to just lay down and relax and not have small talk. I had a great relaxing experience mixed with some accidental talk therapy haha. You feel so comfortable once you start talking you cant stop! I had walked into the building thinking that this was a waste of money and I walked out fully supportive of my decision to make another appointment. They roped me in and weather or not my skin improved was not on my mind. The second appointment I made was a month later. It had gotten colder in charleston and I had some dry patches on my skin. This was the perfect opportunity for me to try the weighted blanket and I think it was a success. It made me warm, cozy and feeling safe. Weighted blankets are amazing for my anxiety. I did a hydrofacial with dermablading (I think thats what its called.) All of the treatments that were performed were all recommendations from Jordan based off of what she noticed from my skin type. I didn't notice results immediately but a few days after the hydrofacial my dry patches were completely healed and no longer made me upset to look in the mirror. I have sensitive/dry skin and I am so happy with the results from their recommendations. I look forward to returning, as long as my bank account can afford it! read more
