Not very impressed for what I expected from a salon on King Street. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The girl was nice but it seemed forced.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked for a dry cut. Ever since switching to dry cuts, I've much preferred them because my hair is thin and people in the past have tended to do layers much better, so that's what I booked. This wasn't the worst haircut I've ever had but it wasn't the best either. It was also the fastest haircut I've ever had, even being a dry cut. I asked for the layers to be blended and not super choppy. I showed a few pictures of Jennifer Aniston and said this is what I've gotten in the past and it worked well with my hair. She was done with the cut after 25 minutes. I didn't notice any layer and said go ahead and take a little more off. She spent less than five more minutes on my hair and said she was done. I left exactly 30 minutes after I arrived and that was including paying. I'm not good with confrontation and I felt like maybe I didn't explain it well, or that maybe once I washed it again and styled it that it would look like what I asked for. It didn't make a difference. It looks as if I tried to cut my own hair and did an ok job. I hadn't had a haircut in 6 months so I needed a good bit taken off and my ends don't look much different after the cut. The back of my hair when looking at my ends look just as bad as when I went in. I'll post the inspiration plus what I left with. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't want to come back in for it to be fixed. It's so long of a drive for me and I made a special day for me to have some me time and it would be a long time with my busy schedule to be able to make it back in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just thought I should share my experience so the owner could have a chat with their stylists.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I gave 3 stars because the location is nice, parking is metered right out front, and the interior is super cute. read more

Visiting from Boston and needed color. I booked with Tracy and she was wonderful! She gave me such a rich red adding a moisture mask and it was perfect! I am a VERY picky customer and she didn't miss a beat. Her service was quick and extremely competent...you could just tell the way she was instructing other stylists on her "pre-color" clarifying service (so that the color would adhere better). I can't say enough good things. There is street parking on King and the attendants went out and fed my meter, adding the coins to my end of service. It's little things like that which leave an impression. I got super lucky to book with Tracy and worth writing a review as I too rely on reviews when shopping around in a new area.
