I found this spa that offers this service. I called them because they had a 50% off coolsculpting special for that month. Bri is the one who does the coolsculpting. She's the sweetest lady. She asked me where all I was concerned about. I told her I wanted my lower belly fat gone, and the fat under my butt to be less so my butt would stick out more. She said that the "banana roll" is what they call the under the butt fat, and mine is muscular. No need to coolsculpt there, she said. I did sign up for coolsculpting my lower belly fat tho. Best decision I've made this decade. My lower belly fat is significantly less fat looking than it used to be. I'm 200 pounds, but my belly looks like it did when I was 140 pounds. I highly recommend this service. While coolsculpting, I decided I wanted to talk to someone about my acne scars. Bri brought in Amanda, who recommended microneedling for my old acne scars. I'm here for my second round of microneedling today. It hurts a little, kind of similar to getting waxed in that it hurts for a little while but has great benefits that outweigh the pain. It feels like a deep exfoliation. She uses a pen looking thing to stab me a bunch of times with a bunch of little microneedles! She numbs my skin prior to the treatment. The hardest part is not wearing makeup for 2-3 days after microneedling. I have already seen a reduction in my wrinkles. I hope to see more of a reduction in my acne scars after this session. Amanda said sometimes it takes two sessions to see results. I paid for 3 up front. You get a deal by paying for your sessions all at once instead of one at a time. This place has a lovely atmosphere. Initially I went in for a skin condition to which has proven difficult to treat by my dermatologist. I gladly went in with an open heart and open mind and was blown away by the effects of each session. I implemented the suggestions from Sarah and saw improvement in weeks time. It won't happen overnight but the gradual improvement I've seen speaks volumes. Scheduling an appointment is super easy with her website while viewing the available time slots. She can also work with your schedule if a time frame isn't available. The wellness studio itself is located within "The School House" to which provides classes, vendors, community yoga, venue space, and more. The waiting area itself feels like a spa with its calming music and babbling water fountain. The initial appointment consists of mostly discussing what issues are at hand and some time for acupuncture. Later sessions lead more time for the acupuncture treatment which kinda reminds me of a meditation moment. Sarah does an outstanding job listening, providing comforting words, and best of all allowed me to consider things I haven't thought of beyond the usual Western approach to medical maladies.
