When I say I was disappointed by this place that would've and understatement. Although the atmosphere was nice, and the service by Trevor was nice and timely, the food left much to be desired. First I'll start with the spring rolls. When I say the shrimp was not fresh tasting that would be putting it lightly. That paired with the dry tasteless pork and we had a recipe for disgust to say the least. That's without mentioning the peanut sauce which appeared to have blood in it. Moving onto the entree I ordered the SR5. Although everything on the plate tasted fresh there definitely was a lack of flavor. We noticed this new Pho restaurant and decided to give it a try. We'd heard mixed reviews from co-workers, but decided it was worth the try. When we arrived it was between 6:30-7 pm. The restaurant is well done on the inside. Some nice decorations and plenty of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. The menus are unique, high quality paper wrapped around wooden covers & spiral bound. The server was extremely friendly. The tables have several items in the middle for your use. Chopsticks, soup ladles, sauces and sriracha. There are no kids meals. The waiter told us on the appetizer portioned the menu you could order the chicken nuggets or fried shrimp. We opted for fried rice dinners for the boys (shrimp & beef). $9.99+ for each of their meals. I also got a combination fried rice dish and my wife ordered a vermicelli meal. My oldest wanted fried rice and fried shrimp. We asked to get the fried shrimp over the fried rice and was at first told we could, but he came back and very apologetically said they couldn't, so we got the regular fried rice with shrimp meal. You can get the portions in a medium or large. No small. The plates were 97% rice with a few pieces of meat thrown in. The rice was yellow in color and the taste made me think I was eating a frozen bag of cheap fried rice from the frozen food isle at your local grocery store. The combination was supposed to have shrimp and sausage and one other meat (pork, I think). The shrimp pieces number 3-4, the sausage looked like cut up pieces of Vienna sausages. I'm not even sure what/where the other pieces of meat were. I had to add a lot of sriracha to make it taste somewhat pleasant. My wife said her meal was underwhelming as well. The fried egg rolls were good (4 for $6.89 I think), but they came out the same time as the meal. Not that big of a deal. Just slightly annoying. We certainly wanted to like this place. We really like Pho restaurants, but this place missed the mark. It should be called Below Average Pho. That would be a more honest name. I ordered the brisket pho the meat was fatty I was disappointed in that, the broth was tasty but not flavorful I will be sticking with my other pho options in Conroe. On another note the gentleman who delivered my food didn't really say anything to me and another man who dropped napkins on my table and walked away. This was like finding gold. We loved the food, atmosphere, and care of the staff at Fabulous Pho. My husband and I have not been impressed with food options in the Willis/Conroe area at all. Everything seems incredible subpar, but going in here was wonderful! We ordered 2 eggrolls and 2 large beef pho. The eggrolls came out piping hot and tasted wonderful. They weren't soggy and had a wonderful crisp to them. The pho came out only a short few minutes after. Just know when you order the large it is - VERY large which was a pleasant surprise! We both enjoyed the pho very much along with the assorted veggies that came with it. The servers were very attentive to our table without crowding which I appreciated. The place was not very busy, but we felt like we were checked on well along with getting timely refills. The only regret I have is that I didn't order the milk tea boba soon enough. After waiting months to try this place, I was dissapointed. First, the peanut sauce is mislabeled on menu as "black bean sauce"., Huh? The waitor didn't seem pleased that all I ordered was a Thai ice tea (which was a pre packaged one and not made in house) and Spring rolls. He as much as dumped the spring rolls on the table and walked away. He never came back. The rice paper on the roll was super chewy and the roll was missing that bite of Thai basil. The pork while tasty, was filled with gristle and was hard to chew. Too bad service sucked and it missed the all around good food mark. I had hoped to like this place. I saw the reviews and thought it would be a great spot visit with my little family after a long day of showing. We walked in the the place was fairly empty. We were seated a booth. My 2 year old twins were extremely fussy because they were hungry and sleepy. The staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable with the constant harassment. They kept walking to the table asking what's the problem. I had to tell them they're babies and will be fine once they eat. The fried rice cost more the the large bowl of pho. The food wasn't bad but not worth the stop. I have no plans on returning To this establishment. I've had better pho. This isn't a family restaurant. read more

We were visiting our daughter at Sam Houston State University and staying in Conroe. I felt like having some Pho for dinner and were referred to Fabulous Pho by the hotel. Originally from Southern California, we have had our share of legit Pho. Especially from the Little Saigon area in Garden Grove/Westminster. The Pho broth is definitely legit. Extremely flavorful and aromatic. The noodles were tender but not too soft. I enjoyed that there was enough vegetables provided without too much. We ordered Filet Mignon which was thinly sliced and so tender. We recommend Fabulous Pho when you are in the Conroe area. We also ordered a Banh Mi (pork) sandwich which was fantastic and spring rolls to complete our meal. All was very enjoyable. read more
