I eat here often and it is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. However I usually dine in. I wanted to leave a take-out review because clearly the experience is much different. I typically order the same thing: filet mignon and tendon pho, and spring roll and egg roll for appetizer. That is what I ordered this time as well but I also tried their salted fried tofu for the first time. Everything was delicious. So the difference with to-go that I noticed was the soup broth was not as hot temperature wise as with dine in. I liked the way they kept the broth separate though so you can mix it yourself. As far as taste goes, I really liked the tofu more than I thought I would. The vinegar that comes with it complements it well. As I said this is one of my favorite places but I love the dine in experience much more. However being able to call the order in and get great food and service is very much appreciated. read more

Fabulous Pho - Pork Eggrolls - Vietnamese Near Me - Conroe, Texas

Food was delicious and our to-go order was accurate. Prices a little higher than other Pho places we have visited is the reason for a lower than 5-star rating. read more

I've come back two other times since the first time. The second time our food took 40 minutes to arrive and it was the wrong dishes. The manager was apologetic and very kind so we decided we would try it again. We came back today, 4/12/19-I literally tried to order the same thing as I ordered from my first review & now they tell me no they can't do it. Then they came back and said they can do it for $2 more. I ask them if the dishes are the same price and I just want to swap out something that y'all have done before why can't I. He just said something about recipes are pre made and they can't substitute anything. I asked him what about for an extra $2 and he said no they can't. Very confusing and frustrating situation read more

Months later, still just the same weird textured egg rolls, service is hit or miss. Did takeout once. Ordered chicken pho (which I don't normally do) just to try it. The chicken was like microwaved chicken from a bag...no flavor. Dined in. Waitstaff forgetting basil for an order of pho? I think Conroe peeps just settle for Viet cuisine. Believe me this is not great Viet food. None of the options here are good. Your best bets are EAD or Yummy Pho House (my mother is Vietnamese, so I know good Viet food). read more

Best pho ever, moved to Conroe just to be near. Love the staff and the boba highly recommend !

This place never ceases to amaze me, there food is delicious, the owner is always cordial, the pho' is always a best bet but do try the other menu items, most are really good! Sometimes the service is a bit slow but the food is well worth it, especially for Conroe! read more

Fabulous Pho - Wow stir fry barbecue pork it's killer good, there spring rolls were excellent too! - Vietnamese Near Me - Conroe, Texas

Delicious! I was surprised to find yummy Vietnamese food in little ol conroe, you can tell when the food is going to be good if all the workers are Viet. We recently moved to conroe almost a year ago and i never stopped by here. Fabulous Pho is definitely a Conroe Gem. I don't have to go to Houston for the simple Vietnamese food anymore! Now all they need to start serving us Bahn Xeo ;) read more

It didn't even matter how the food was sadly, because everything was so poor. It was maybe 30% full on our thursday late afternoon visit. We walked in and it took some time for anyone to show us and offer us a table. during our walk there we saw at least 5 tables with heaping dirty plates all over them. We sat down anyway, and it took about 10 minutes for someone to come over for a drink order. My daughter ordered her thai tea first, the waiter appeared to be startled by that and didn't bother to get my drink order just took off and reappeared 10 minutes later with hers and then I was allowed to ask for a sprite myself. not very clean inside and just an odd variation of inattentive disinterested wait staff. with the volume of Vietnamese restaurants in the area, opt for somewhere else. read more

Fabulous Pho - dirty tables when we arrived, and no one cleared an hour later by the time we left - Vietnamese Near Me - Conroe, Texas

Never a disappointment, the staff is always super friendly as accommodating. We always start with spring rolls and the peanut sauce is the best in town hands down. Lettuce wraps are my wife's favorite and I usually have the vermicelli. Always have food to take home portions are perfect. read more

I've been a long time patron at this restaurant. Today I arrived, they seemed slightly busy, but I noticed they only had one 10 top table and a one top. I decided to seat myself because that is typically what they always tell me to do. I patiently waited and no one acknowledged me, how do you not see a new patron with only 2 tables in the restaurant? I ended up getting up to ask for a menu, no problem, but still nothing, I waited 10 more minutes and left! I decided to call the restaurant to voice my complaint, and the guy that answered was a real jerk with telling me it was my fault because I sat myself!!! Really, because I've always been made to feel welcomed with seating myself. His response was unprofessional and if I were the owner, I would fire him on the spot for not his lack of service and also for lack of courtesy on the phone! I will never be back to this place again! read more

This place is far better than any trendy noodle bar you will find. They make their Pho fresh daily and sell it until they run out. It's absolutely delicious - we have never had anything bad here. If you're thinking about trying the fancy food truck or Downtown Conroe spot, come here instead. More authentic and better quality, hands down. read more

When I say I was disappointed by this place that would've and understatement. Although the atmosphere was nice, and the service by Trevor was nice and timely, the food left much to be desired. First I'll start with the spring rolls. When I say the shrimp was not fresh tasting that would be putting it lightly. That paired with the dry tasteless pork and we had a recipe for disgust to say the least. That's without mentioning the peanut sauce which appeared to have blood in it. Moving onto the entree I ordered the SR5. Although everything on the plate tasted fresh there definitely was a lack of flavor. Even though beef was the main meat of the dish, the portion was barely enough for a child. All in all this place was a disappointment in my eyes and I do not think I will be returning. Edit: (I was informed by the owner that the red stuff in my peanut sauce was unmixed chilli sauce so that is an relief) read more

We noticed this new Pho restaurant and decided to give it a try. We'd heard mixed reviews from co-workers, but decided it was worth the try. When we arrived it was between 6:30-7 pm. The restaurant is well done on the inside. Some nice decorations and plenty of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. The menus are unique, high quality paper wrapped around wooden covers & spiral bound. The server was extremely friendly. The tables have several items in the middle for your use. Chopsticks, soup ladles, sauces and sriracha. There are no kids meals. The waiter told us on the appetizer portioned the menu you could order the chicken nuggets or fried shrimp. We opted for fried rice dinners for the boys (shrimp & beef). $9.99+ for each of their meals. I also got a combination fried rice dish and my wife ordered a vermicelli meal. My oldest wanted fried rice and fried shrimp. We asked to get the fried shrimp over the fried rice and was at first told we could, but he came back and very apologetically said they couldn't, so we got the regular fried rice with shrimp meal. You can get the portions in a medium or large. No small. The plates were 97% rice with a few pieces of meat thrown in. The rice was yellow in color and the taste made me think I was eating a frozen bag of cheap fried rice from the frozen food isle at your local grocery store. The combination was supposed to have shrimp and sausage and one other meat (pork, I think). The shrimp pieces number 3-4, the sausage looked like cut up pieces of Vienna sausages. I'm not even sure what/where the other pieces of meat were. I had to add a lot of sriracha to make it taste somewhat pleasant. My wife said her meal was underwhelming as well. The fried egg rolls were good (4 for $6.89 I think), but they came out the same time as the meal. Not that big of a deal. Just slightly annoying. We certainly wanted to like this place. We really like Pho restaurants, but this place missed the mark. It should be called Below Average Pho. That would be a more honest name. Sorry I totally flaked and forgot to take any pics of the food. read more

Love it here! The food is good. The staff is accommodating and the ambiance is very chill.

This vietnamese restaurant is far more better than the rest of the vietnamese restaurant in Conroe area. As of now I would still love to eat at EAD , why? Their rice plate comes with a cup of a soup and the price is more cheaper. Pho, i still preferred to eat at EAD . Though this newly opened restaurant will be good for conroe. read more

I ordered egg rolls they were over cooked and burned and seemed to have ingredients I'm unaccustomed too the sauce they came with was very watery and hard not to spill everywhere. I ordered the brisket pho the meat was fatty I was disappointed in that, the broth was tasty but not flavorful I will be sticking with my other pho options in Conroe. On another note the gentleman who delivered my food didn't really say anything to me and another man who dropped napkins on my table and walked away. The staff didn't check on my table during the entire time I was there after I got my food and when I need to pay I had to go to the registers in the center of the restaurant and pay which was fine just customers don't really know what to do since they've never been here. read more

This was like finding gold. We loved the food, atmosphere, and care of the staff at Fabulous Pho. My husband and I have not been impressed with food options in the Willis/Conroe area at all. Everything seems incredible subpar, but going in here was wonderful! We ordered 2 eggrolls and 2 large beef pho. The eggrolls came out piping hot and tasted wonderful. They weren't soggy and had a wonderful crisp to them. The pho came out only a short few minutes after. Just know when you order the large it is - VERY large which was a pleasant surprise! We both enjoyed the pho very much along with the assorted veggies that came with it. The servers were very attentive to our table without crowding which I appreciated. The place was not very busy, but we felt like we were checked on well along with getting timely refills. The only regret I have is that I didn't order the milk tea boba soon enough. My hope is to go back and try it after seeing the other reviews. This is a great place to try out! read more

Soups are great. Spring rolls are fresh. Service is very good. A little over priced.

After waiting months to try this place, I was dissapointed. First, the peanut sauce is mislabeled on menu as "black bean sauce"., Huh? I had to ask because I've never heard of black bean sauce with Vietnamese soft spring rolls. I was pleased that the peanut sauce was extremely tasty. The waitor didn't seem pleased that all I ordered was a Thai ice tea (which was a pre packaged one and not made in house) and Spring rolls. He as much as dumped the spring rolls on the table and walked away. He never came back. The rice paper on the roll was super chewy and the roll was missing that bite of Thai basil. The pork while tasty, was filled with gristle and was hard to chew. Too bad service sucked and it missed the all around good food mark. I had hoped to like this place. I may give them one more chance with something else. read more

I saw the reviews and thought it would be a great spot visit with my little family after a long day of showing. We walked in the the place was fairly empty. We were seated a booth. My 2 year old twins were extremely fussy because they were hungry and sleepy. The staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable with the constant harassment. They kept walking to the table asking what's the problem. I had to tell them they're babies and will be fine once they eat. The fried rice cost more the the large bowl of pho. The food wasn't bad but not worth the stop. I have no plans on returning To this establishment. I've had better pho. This isn't a family restaurant. read more
