She invited me back and said she would personally assist me during my next visit. Britney was outstanding--professional, compassionate, and exactly the kind of manager every business should have. While my original experience was very disappointing, the way she handled the situation restored my confidence in Warby Parker. ---- Absolutely terrible customer service. I arrived on time for my appointment and waited almost an hour, only to be told I couldn't be seen because my appointment was booked as a re-exam instead of a full exam. The reason? A full exam takes about 20 minutes, and my appointment was booked for 15 minutes. Let that sink in. They had me waiting for nearly an hour, but somehow couldn't find an extra five minutes to honor my appointment. Instead, the front desk employee, Shay, kept smiling and acting like she was doing me a favor by offering to rebook me five hours later. It felt incredibly patronizing. Rather than taking responsibility for what appeared to be a scheduling issue, they wasted my time and expected me to be grateful. If you value your time, I'd look elsewhere. This place has no respect for its customers' schedules, and I won't be coming back.

I've had two experiences at Warby Parker after my cataract surgery, and I'm honestly a bit mixed…read more My first visit was to get reading glasses. I was handed a tray of frames and a sheet and told to pick my strength by looking at a sheet and trying on different strengths it felt very self-service, which might work for some people, but after surgery, I would have appreciated more guidance. My second visit was because I needed a very light prescription. The associate I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable, and I do want to give the benefit of the doubt that they were trying to help. However, I was told that returning my recently purchased frames would take over a month, while ordering a new pair would take about two weeks. Out of curiosity, I ordered online instead--and my glasses are arriving in less than a week. That made the in-store timeline confusing and a bit frustrating. That said, I do like their pricing, frame selection, and convenience. I'd still consider going back, but I'd recommend going in with a clear plan and understanding your options ahead of time and maybe bring a friend for support.

I had a tremendous first visit to this LensCrafters…read more I made an easy appointment on time. I arrived ten minutes early, and after finishing up the paperwork, was immediately helped by one of the staff. He got me into the system (including absolutely NO drama about my insurance or pressure for up-charges) and took me straight back to start preliminary exams. I then waited for a few short minutes before my time with Dr. Nancy Suen. To a point - she was the absolute best optometrist I've ever been to. She was incredibly patient and thorough, explaining each step she was taking and answering all questions without making me feel rushed in any way. She has tremendous bedside manner and instilled nothing but confidence. Finally, I did not intend to buy any frames - I went strictly for the exam (in order to, frankly, purchase frames online). In my past experience, exam places can get very surly when you "use them" for just the exam. However, the staff simply asked me, "Do you want to buy frames today as well?" and after a simple, "Not today," they left the issue alone. Amazing! I would completely recommend this LensCrafters, and I'll definitely be trying to see Dr. Suen for my next yearly exam.

To sound as corNY as possible:…read more Today was the 2nd time and I've come to the shop for an adjustment on frames. The lens popped out during my hot yoga class ( I didn't realize the heat was impacting the frame and warping it.) I was definitely in a panic as the shop was closing in 45 min and I have to wake up tomorrow for the Bar exam. I'm a loud over sharer so I expressed my woes to the customer service rep Sam, and she looked over the framed noticed that the screw was broken, replaced it and did the adjustment all with a smile. I'm so thankful that didn't say "no technicians are in" or "we are closing can you come back tomorrow." It was fast service, and I'm happy that the frames snapped when they did COULD YA IMAGINE IF IT HAPPENED DURING THE EXAM. . Thank you Cohen Optical and give Sam a raise, Brother of the proletariat struggle.

Great optometry shop in the mall, with a wide range of glasses and contact lenses in stock!…read more We needed last minute, emergency contact lenses for our trip and we called around more than 10 different shops in the area and none of them had it in stock except this store! We drove from Long Island and we were just so glad that we were able to pick up the same day! The staff are so friendly and helpful, both over the phone and in person! Thank you for having a great stock at an excellent price compared to local shops! We highly recommend this shop over any other shops in the area. They also do fast shipping! Call these guys, you'll be glad you did! 10 stars world class service!!!

After I came home, I checked my insurance myself and discovered that I was 100 percent covered for lenses. I never asked for lenses that were not covered by insurance. Be careful with this place.

If you are looking for a place to take care of your eyes, this place is the place to go…read more In a neighborhood as competitive and fast paced as Queens, it has proven most difficult to find a reliable place to order contacts and receive eye exams. I have been wearing glasses for a decade and contacts for nearly 8 years, visited nearly 20 optometrists and plenty of eyewear establishments, and I can say without hesitation that this store is on top of the game. The optometrist is by far the most friendly and thorough one I have met. Where others before have been hasty with eye exams and completed them under 15 minutes, Dr. Jeff continuously worked to make sure that the contacts were the best possible fit and provided me with the clearest vision. He patiently answered and explained astigmatism whereas other doctors had sufficed their answers to, "It means your cornea is football shaped." Other than the doctor, the man and the woman up front were equally as helpful and accommodating, providing me with different contacts to try on and were very clear about their prices and rates (which are very affordable). They take their time and answer all of your questions. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for any vision problems.

I have had very very bad experiences with Optometrists the past 8 or years in NYC and this was…read moretruly the only completely good experience I've had since I moved here. I love this city. Most of the Optometrists here though, not so much. To be fair, I probably should actually take heed of Yelp ratings while selecting the locations to which I wish to get my prescriptions updated, but I have a history of giving locations a "benefit of a doubt" with things like that, which is to my own detriment. In any case, I came to this location a couple of weeks ago and was met with friendly, organized and relatively efficient staff. Each step of the experience, from the doctor's eye-exam to the frames selection was pretty much what I'd want or expect while updating my prescription. The Dr. Levi was particularly helpful and informative and I'd even say attentive to, not just makesure my prescription was right (and it was VERY right, I'm wearing them right now and it's the sharpest my vision has been in nearly a decade!) but also, he was sure to ask numerous questions and recommend a follow-up visit with an ophthalmologist for which he wrote me a referral. All-in-all it was probably the best experience I've had with an eye-care place since I moved here. Would recommend highly.
