He came across as rude, unprofessional, and seemed unable to read the room. He constantly made awkward jokes, repeatedly referred to himself as an "alpha," and kept pushing the same comments even when nobody was laughing. Instead of making customers feel comfortable, it made the atmosphere uncomfortable. When gathering our information, he often sounded demanding rather than polite, speaking to people in a way that felt disrespectful. The biggest issue wasn't the jokes themselves, it was the attitude behind them. I've also noticed that when people leave criticism, he tends to argue back rather than take accountability. A business owner should be open to feedback, not treat every complaint like a personal attack. The staff deserves credit, which is why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1. But Andy's behavior alone would make me think twice before returning.

Let me tell y'all about the best eye doctor ever -- Dr. Coleman at Union Square Eye Doctor…read more Dr. Coleman is everything. If you have a question about your eyes, a random concern, or you just feel like something is "off," she is the one you want sitting across from you. She is down to earth, she's cool, and you can genuinely tell she cares. Not just about doing her job -- but about you understanding what's going on with your eyes. Originally, my son was her patient. And watching her interact with him? That sealed it for me. He's six, and she explained everything directly to him while also explaining it to me. She made him feel included, comfortable, and calm. That matters. Because let's be real -- doctors can be intimidating for kids. But not her. After that appointment, I said yep -- you're mine now too. And then my mom ended up going to her. So at this point? She's the family eye doctor. Period. Her bedside manner is amazing. You always get a smile. You always feel heard. And when you're someone like me who wears glasses and relies on them daily, anything dealing with your eyesight can feel scary. Not being able to see clearly? Terrifying. So you want to fully trust the person taking care of your eyes. And with her, you absolutely do. The office itself is super convenient to get to, always clean (which y'all know I pay attention to), and the entire staff explains everything clearly -- from tests to billing to next steps. Appointments are easy to schedule, and you don't feel rushed. No shade to the other doctors there -- I just don't know y'all. But my girl is my girl, and that's tea. Dr. Coleman all the way. Highly, highly recommend.

I would like to start by saying that the front desk staff and the doctor were extremely patient,…read moreprofessional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. They took the time to answer questions and provided excellent care. Unfortunately, my experience when selecting glasses was very different. As a Medicaid patient, I felt rushed while trying to choose my frames. During my visit, I noticed that I was shown a different selection of Medicaid-covered glasses than the selection previously shown to my children, even though we have the same Medicaid coverage. When I questioned this, I was told it was due to frame size. However, I believe customers should be given the opportunity to try on all eligible frames and decide for themselves which styles and sizes fit best. I was also disappointed when certain sunglasses were described as being "for females" and others "for males." In my opinion, glasses are a personal choice and should be considered unisex. Customers should feel comfortable trying on any frame they like without being steered toward specific styles based on gender. Most importantly, I felt treated differently because I was selecting Medicaid-covered frames rather than more expensive options. The interaction felt rushed and, at times, rude. Every patient deserves the same level of respect, attention, and customer service regardless of their insurance coverage or budget. Because of this experience, I would not return for future eyewear purchases. I hope this feedback encourages improvements so that all customers feel valued and respected.
