Careless installers…read more After the technicians came out to fix my Andersen windows, I emailed Missy Corelle detailing the issues. I waited five days with no response or call back, even though I confirmed the email was opened. Their complete lack of follow-up is unacceptable, and I will not recommend this company to anyone. Below is the email that I sent: "Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience with the window installation service on July 29, 2025. Unfortunately, it was far from positive. First, I found both installers to be careless. The younger installer literally ripped the valance off the blind and broke both brackets. It didn't appear that he examined how they were mounted before removing them. If he had been unsure, he could have asked me for help--I've removed that valance several times myself without issue. Not only did he break both plastic brackets, but he also never informed me. Instead, he jury-rigged it so it appeared intact. I discovered the damage when I tried to close the blind, and the valance fell. Secondly, the older installer dropped a hammer on my new end table, which we purchased just two weeks ago. I had placed a clear plexiglass top on it the previous weekend, which saved the table itself, but the plexiglass now has a dent. Again, this was never mentioned to me--I only noticed it after they had left. Both representatives appeared to be in a rush and did not treat my home or me with the respect that any customer deserves. It is important that I share this feedback so that you and your team can work towards creating a better customer experience for your future clients."

We left feeling completely confident and excited about the selections--and I called her a week later and she still remembered us. Ran into a problem: they didn't have any remnants in that color, and I'd have to purchase a whole slab just to match a little section. Mona came to the rescue! She offered me a remnant of a different color that she promised matches really really closely the original color. And since the new section was to be installed across from the old one (not contiguous), it would be very hard to tell. Sure enough, it worked out perfectly and Mona saved me a lot of money by finding a creative solution. Just like last time, I was doing this long distance without seeing anything in person. With contractors there is always drama or miscommunications, especially if you are not there to supervise. Not with Mona. Her reliability, attention to detail, and smart problem-solving in every project, no matter how small, give me total peace of mind. And the prices are still very reasonable, even years later! They were the best tile experience I have had out of seven or more different places and contractors. I would not ever go to or recommend any place other than National Tile on route 28 in North Reading for tile and its installation.

Chris was very friendly and tried to steer us to the best value but we opted for an LG washer and dryer with more bells and whistles. The only problem is the dryer is not in stock so we must wait close to a month for delivery. At least they will take our old washer and dryer for a fee. Plenty of product offered and price is better than their major competitors. Addendum: be aware, Lowe's uses a third party to deliver appliances and they are unprofessional. They were supposed to call us the night before to give us a two hour window- they never called. We called and were finally given a time. The men arrived and dropped off our new appliances took the old dryer but never took our old washing machine (left new appliances in hallway). When we called to complain we were told they could not come back for 3 days( are you kidding). Lowe's wants to sell product but the onus is then on you- be aware. PS. Sunday Lowe's sent a driver out to fix the problem. We were at a funeral and could not be home; again, coordination is lacking. Thankfully the situation was already resolved but required numerous phone calls. Thank you Donna (expediter) and Michael (delivery guy) for resolving our situation. Buy products from Lowe's but do not expect service after the sale.
