You've got to straighten it out or replace sections and posts. This year my old wood fence just got old and rotted. I called four fence companies and got estimates. I chose Agawam Jeff And Erica are unbelievable to work with. They were the most professional and down to earth team I could ever hoped to work with. Quality product that won't change year after year like Home Depot. When your fence has a tree limb fall and break it Home Depot carries a different brand almost every year. Sure it will work but it won't match. The color even white has many shades. The team at Agawam gave me a price that didn't change and a start date that was kept. The fence team took down my fence and removed it quickly. They methodically lined my yard and went over any last minutes changes or concerns I might have. They were quick, efficient and even constructed an awesome and very reasonably priced outdoor shower based on some pictures we showed them. We reached out to this Port Fence company again for another project and they were a little show getting here for the estimate, but were again very professional and we thought we were on our way. We waited a few weeks for the estimate, inquired about its ETA, then waited a few more weeks, then a few more weeks. I eventually called and left a message explaining that if they were too busy, no worries, just let me know or give me a timetable and maybe we can still make it happen...but to please let me know either way. No return call. Times are good now and people have money to spend and businesses get busy. Eventually times change and businesses struggle to find customers and build relationships...this Port Fence company really alienated not only a solid customer, but lots of other potential customers, including a large fence project on a 1mm dollar house the owners of which were clients of my wife (essentially a large referral pool vanished instantly). Just a really foolish unforced error and a bizarre way to run a business. But I digress. Agawam came, gave a solid bid, maintained great communication and did exceptional work. I was worried that their may be some communication issues as the workers seemed to struggle with English, but the owner explained what the plan was and these guys killed it. I think management might have changed since the poorer reviews were posted as the company was acquired by the owner of a landscape company, who I dealt with and, I believe, is on site at the beginning of every project. I'm having to replace about half of a cedar fence installed by Reliable after only 6 years. Posts…read morewere cut short and buried only 18", most with only 1 bag of concrete or less, only surrounding the post about halfway, so they came loose. Panels too close to the ground have rotted. Steel bars were hammered in next to some posts and bolted on, so that tells me these posts were too wobbly to support the fence right from the start. They should have dug them up and done it right. Even doing it right on 1/2 of the posts would have been enough to support the fence, but they cut corners on EVERY post.

Washington (company owner) came out the same day, and after some calculations, gave us a quote on the spot. His quote was incredibly competitive compared to others we recieved for the same work, and he was ready to start within a few days. He estimated 2 days for the project, and got it done in 1! His team worked hard all day. The fence came out beautifully, and they were very careful around my gardens and existing walkways. Our initial inquiry was sent on a Saturday, but the owner, Ruy Barbosa, replied within an hour. He met us the following workday to go over our needs and discussed various options. He projected confidence at being able to renovate our deck yet maintain its overall look. He was willing to work with us and the city's historic commission to preserve some key features of the deck. During the course of the work, Ruy and his staff were responsive to questions or changes that we requested. Communication with them was great. They were eager to please us and found ways to make the project stay on-time and within budget, even when curve balls were thrown at them. Overall, they renovated our dilapidated deck boards with composite flooring. They removed heavy railings and pillars, completely overhauled the structural supports, installed the composite flooring and finally replaced the railings & pillars. Additionally, we had them pressure wash and paint the deck. The cost associated with the structural supports and flooring was very much in line with what we believed was reasonable. We liked their work so much that they have also redone our rear porch & steps. Currently we are waiting on estimates for three more home projects. Before and after photos attached

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.
