I hired him to cut grass, weed whack and do fabric paper and install landscape lights. I told him I would help him to expand his business on my street. However, his grass cutting was so sloppy. They must have gone over the same spots three times and made the grass so short it was going into stress. Knowing I was going to fire him I had another landscaper here pricing the property and witnessed him doing the same thing to my neighbors yard. It created weeds galore for them because of the stress their cutting placed on the yard. The fabric paper project was not laid flat and has created tons of issues with getting the mulch to "seat" on the paper. Noticed they didn't cut the noticeable sprinkler heads out and I had to dig for them after the fact. Attention to detail was not a strong suit. I didn't understand why the fresh black mulch continued to have tons of grass clippings in it. I watched my neighbors lawn being cut and saw the push behind mower shooting out grass. He doesn't bag and that is what was creating a mess of my mulch beds. Cost me time and materials to fix the sloppiness he left behind. The lighting was done very well.... That I will say. He is going to send me to collections for the last Bill which is less than $50. He doesn't have grass seed on his truck as he told me in the introduction meeting to fill in any dead spots he sees while working the yard. Find someone else if you value your yard.
