But we did find AEO and my sister was hoping to also find the jeans jacket we saw in Cali a couple of months ago, and we wanted to look at the T's and jeans. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and the store was clean. My problem was the guy with three GoPros taped together standing at the fitting room entrance filming. When I asked the person with the tablet in front of the store if the guy was filming she said he's in public and he's allowed. I didn't say anything at the time; however, that wasn't my question. I was more concerned that my likeness or image would end up on some two-bit Instagram 'influencer' post without my expressed consent or authorization or compensation. And even more concerned that this guy was filming at the entrance of the fitting rooms. Under Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) § 200.604, it is a crime to film someone without their consent in fitting or dressing rooms. Standing at the entrance to the fitting rooms with multiple filming devices did not make me feel very comfortable. In addition, the person filming cannot use my face or likeness to sell a commercial product or advertisement without obtaining a signed release form from me. The guy filming and the person with the tablet may not know who I am, but there are many, many, many others who do. So the chances of trying on shirts and jeans for my sister and me were 0 to none. And that's a shame. She did, though, find her jacket at 70% off.

As I went through the men's department, I was immediately greeted by an enthusiastic sales associate, King! The selection of merch is somewhat decent. King was amazing and super helpful and friendly in assisting me in finding the right sizes for my friend. Although, we didn't find the right size, I was immediately impressed with King, in his assistance. I highly recommend him! I LOVE the men's dressing room area.... They have a luxurious sofa and huge big-screen TV in the waiting area of the dressing rooms. How come the women's dressing rooms don't have this!!?? Lol! After checking in, I was left standing there with no explanation of what was happening or how long the wait would be (it's was nearly 20 mins). I eventually had to approach her and ask what exactly I was waiting for. Only then did she explain that someone was retrieving the item, needed a key to access it, and was in the process of locating it. That information would have been helpful from the beginning. A simple explanation such as, "Someone is retrieving your order and it may take a few minutes," would have set expectations and made the experience much more pleasant. Instead, I was left standing there wondering whether I had checked in correctly or if something was wrong. Neiman Marcus is known for its customer service, which is why this experience was so surprising. While the online ordering process was excellent, the pickup experience fell well below expectations and left me questioning whether I would use the service again.
