Cutest little place hidden in the North side! They offer a great rotating monthly menu for Hi Teas. My friends and I had the bestest time. There's also a courtyard at the back and it seems like a fan favorite during warmer months. Great selection of pastries and bite size sandwiches. Not to mention, their amazing tea section and of course the beautiful tea cups. Overall, very generous portions. If you're looking for more than just a Hi Tea experience, they also cater to your event needs. The lady mentioned they've hosted fundraising, business meetings, weddings etc. can't wait to come back for more hi teas!

We had the best time here for high tea. It was so fun. We called for reservations about a week or two before the event just to make sure that we could get a table. The person who I spoke to so that she would call to confirm on the Friday before the weekend for our final count of people. They are super conscious about allergies and about making it as an inclusive as they can. So when I told them that one of our party is mostly vegetarian they made sure that they had vegetarian sandwiches to replace anything that had meat in it. I thought that was really awesome that they did that. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a selection of three sandwiches, two scones, two salads, and three desserts. Everything was absolutely amazing. The one sandwich that really surprised me was the cucumber and dill sandwich on raisin bread. The entire table was apprehensive about this because he would have thought raisin bread with anything like cucumbers and dill but it was amazing. The two scones we had were a cheddar scone and a fruity cherry scone. The Devonshire cream with the homemade jam for the cherry scone was amazing. Someone in our party said and I quote, " I'm going hard on this cream. " We really enjoyed it! The salads were a berry salad and a pasta salad. The pasta salad was very good It had a mixture of cavitelli pasta I believe and bow ties. With a light vinaigrette over it. The berry salad had cherries strawberries and grapes. My favorite dessert out of the three was the little ricotta cake. It was simple and yet delicious. The teas you can put in a satchel or in one of the tea balls And they had an array of different loose leaf cheese for the table to try. Our table did share the different flavors of tea between us because we wanted to try different things. There was also lemon cream honey sticks and sugar cubes at the table for your tea. So however you like to take your tea they had a way for you to drink it. I had a great time and I would suggest anyone going here for high tea. I'm actually planning a family trip soon! So I hope to see you there.

They took my credit card information down ahead of time on the phone so all I had to do was sign the check at the end of high tea.

I'm not sure if this is a corporate policy, but with this being flu season, I would think a they would take every and any step to keep not only their entire staff but their customers safe from being exposed. I have been a corporate manager in the same industry in the past and this type of management enrages me. I have also heard that are told if they are having mental or hormonal issues they should deal with them on their day off. Im not sure corporately who manages the managers but they really need to do a better job at appreciating their employees and customers and the city that has made them a possibility.

Robin at Big Catering helped me select menu items, understand quantities and prices, and confirm all details. I asked for the food to be delivered and set up (we did not need servers during the reception). The delivery arrived exactly on time, and setup was perfect. The guests enjoyed the sight and aroma of the beautiful buffet. The delicious selections encouraged people to sit and chat, and then wander back to the buffet for another helping. We received many compliments about the wonderful food. Everything was packaged sturdily. Our family was able to take very tasty leftovers home and enjoy them. I highly recommend Big Burrito for catering, and Alta Via for menu selections.

I have a very hard time liking food enough to eat at all, and I went back for different selections once I found I could actually enjoy everything! That's a really big deal to me. The supper was roast beef and chicken and mashed potatoes and pasta plus the salad/hors-d'oeuvres table. Open bar (although servers didn't know how to make mixed drinks and had to keep referring to the menu, then asked the guests if they were "right!") and lovely servers all around, even giving me special help for a few different reasons. EVERYONE commented on how good the food was. I'm telling everyone I know. Love you, Remo's!

We didn't, but somehow got lucky snagging seats at the bar... which honestly turned out to be a perfect spot to eat too! The beet salad was SO good I could've easily ordered a second without hesitation. I had a self-proclaimed Reuben connoisseur with me, and he declared it the best Reuben he's ever had (second only to his own, of course ). It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! They had this subtle sweetness that made them seriously addictive. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that lives up to the hype. Totally worth it! Our first time here and we loved the room upstairs. Very cozy and intimate. Hardly anyone was there at 7:00 pm on a weekday. Everything went well except the food took forever to arrive. We waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and we couldn't understand because there was hardly anyone in the dining room. (Two other tables and one group had already eaten.) The hamburger was fine when we finally got it. The homemade pickles were the best. My husband loved the salsa. One thing I wish we were told is that there is a surcharge to use a credit card and there was a charge for the salsa. Both those things were a surprise. I love how this place has history. The grandmother owned the Ritz Hotel in Bridgeville and her 7 Up sign from the hotel graces the walls. All the old black and white Heidelberg photos are fun to see. Even though we were disappointed in the slow delivery of our meal, we may give it another try due to the server and the community feel to the place.
